Now here are the steps to install the “Pure Look S3 [v3.1.1 Final]” ROM on the Galaxy S2:
Download the _purelook S3 v3.1.1 final XWLPG.zip (do not extract), and copy it to the SD Card of your device by connecting it to your computer via USB cable.
Charge your device’s battery to at least 70% level.
Backup all your contacts, messages, and other important data.
Enable USB Debugging Mode on your device. Go to Settings> Applications>> Development>> USB Debugging On.
Now boot it into CWM Recovery Mode. You can do this in three ways. If you can see a utility called CWM Manager on your device, ope it and select “Reboot into ClockWorkMod Recovery”. Another way is to download the ROM Manager app from the Google Play Store and use “Reboot into Recovery” option. You can also boot your device in the Recovery mode by this way: switch off the device, and keep pressed the Volume Up+Home+Power keys simultaneously till the startup screen with Samsung Galaxy S2 logo blinks for two times.
In the Recovery Mode, select “wipe data/factory reset” and “wipe cache partition” and confirm your choice by selecting “Yes”.
Then go to “advanced” option and choose “wipe dalvik cache” and confirm the choice.
Then return back to the main menu and select “install zip from sdcard>> choose zip from sdcard”. Browse to the “_purelook S3 v3.1.1 final XWLPG.zip” file and select it.
CWM Recovery will start flashing the ROM on to your Galaxy S2 and will take a few minutes to finish.
When it is complete, go back to main menu and select “reboot system now”.
It will take a few minutes for you device to reboot. Do not panic if it takes a longer time and wait patiently.

This ROM is overclockable!!! The overclock settings are built into the system settings.
I have safely Overclocked this phone to 1117, and it's pretty stable at 1132. Anything higher will make the phone unstable.
Thanks to Cameron581 and No|Name for kernel and Dazzozo for baserom.
Thanks to Zerosedev for the helpful guide, and hit 'Thanks' if this helped!
Also, I apologize if this thread bothers anyone with the Ideos S7. I saw that the forums were a little empty and not many people went on it and since our device (Huawei Fusion 2) doesn't have a forum on XDA, I thought this may be a good way to keep things organized.

Have you tried increasing the voltage trough the kernel at the higher clockrates?
I have not dared clock the S7 higher then the maximum 1ghz, but if you either tweak the voltage settings trough the menuconfig or hack it, it might become more stable at around 1150 mhz

You can download it here: http://androidforums.com/fusion-2-all-things-root/730066-how-install-cyanogenmod-10-1-jellybean-4-2-2-fusion-2-a.html
But, you should back up your 3g first. link to how to: http://androidforums.com/fusion-2-all-things-root/729700-read-before-flashing-ics-jellybean-roms.html
Is there a way we can get a recent version (CM10.1) built? Also, how do we get the 2GB internal partition recognized?
I picked up a pair of these and switched them both to CM10.1. Unfortunately, there is only ~350MB of space for the /system partition (I'm working on this). I will need the partition map so I can actually shuffle some space around. I'm looking at taking (maybe) a 200MB chunk out of /data and sticking it in /system. Either that, or making a normal CM10.1 build and a barebones gapps build.
Also, I noticed this has a built-in FM radio according to several sites. Any ideas?

Hi guys I have troubbles to download the files

No mod for phone
I have a Fusion 2 Huawei U8665 phone I would like to put Cyanogenmod on. I would love the most current vision that would work for the phone. All of the links I've followed to get the mod, leads to a page saying "The file you're trying to download is no longer available". Can anyone help me find what I need to do this. I've already rooted the phone, and backed up the 3g fix files. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Yeah the links don't work anymore. I hope someone has an archive out there since my device is stuck on CM7.2/Android 2.3.7 as Slimbean just shows the AT&T logo and doesn't boot unless I flash CM7.2 again. My U8665 doesn't even work with any of my SIM cards anyways, and besides, Phone by Google on my Galaxy A03s is still a decent UI.
How To Root Galaxy Win or Galaxy Grand Quattro (GT-I8552)

Once you click a link you may be warned by your browser for accessing the URLs, but fortunately, the Warning page has a part where there's an option to proceed with accessing the page, just proceed and click the link. See example below.

Change the original link, and re-shorten with bitly

Or, continue at your own risk to: http://download.clockworkmod.com/drivers/SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones.exe[/COLOR]
If you get no warnings, much better. Let's proceed.
The Preparation : Before you start, make sure that . . .1) You have a PC / Laptop running Windows Platform
2) Samsung USB Driver for Mobile Phones (click to DL from clockworkmod.com) is installed
3) Phone battery power is at least 70%. That's good enough to not run out of power during this whole process.
4) Its USB Debugging is enabled (Settings > Developer Options > USB Debugging)
5) You have a USB Cable to establish a connection between the phone & your computer
6) You have the files needed. Keep three files in one folder.
- twrp_2.8_material - 9185 KB (click to DL directly from its dev's (Gody) MediaFire drive)
- Odin3-v3.09.zip - 972 KB (click to DL from sammobile.com's MEGA shared cloud storage) This software runs only on Windows platform.
- SuperSU_v1.94.zip - 1,703 KB (click to DL direclty from chainfire website)7) A copy of that flashable zip file "SuperSU" must be saved in your phone's memory, internal or external .
1st Step : Flashing TWRP Recovery Via OdinWhat is Recovery? | The Two Android Recovery Agents (CWM & TWRP)
Here, we will use TWRP Recovery. We will install it on the device using the Odin software.
Required: your phone, Windows PC, USB cable, Odin, and TWRP (.tar file)
1) Boot phone to "Odin Mode, a.k.a. Download Mode" by pressing the buttons at the same time: Volume Down, Power, & Home. When the device vibrates, immediately release the Power button while still pressing the other two until the Download Mode's warning screen appears.

}
2) Press the "Volume Up" button to continue to Odin Mode
3) In your computer, using WinRar or 7-zip, extract the Odin zip file, then run Odin3 v3.09.exe as Administrator
4) Connect your phone to your PC via USB. It should say "Added" on Odin.
5) On Odin, click the "AP" button, find and select the "twrp_2.8_material.tar"
6) Click "Start" to proceed in flashing the TWRP Recovery. *This takes about a minute.
7) It's partially finished when it says RESET! with these three lines in the message box.
RQT_CLOSE !!
RES OK !!
Removed!!
Then, phone will reboot automatically to OS.
8) Sometimes it takes a few more seconds after the phone has rebooted for you to be able to completely close Odin. Just wait for Odin to change its status from RESET! to PASS! and say All threads completed. (succeed 1 / failed 0), as shown in the picture below.
Then, you may click Exit and disconnect cable.
TWRP 2.8.5.0 Recovery is now installed.
And this is how to boot to "Recovery Mode". Press the buttons at the same time: Volume Up, Power, & Home. When the device vibrates, immediately release the Power button while still pressing the other two until the SAMSUNG boot-screen appears. See photo instructions below.
By the way, see the pictures below for the difference between the Galaxy Win's stock recovery and TWRP's recovery.
Important : NANDroid Backup
At this point, with TWRP Recovery installed, you can now create a NANDroid backup. It's a backup of literally everything in your phone - System, Cache, Data, EFS, and Boot. It is considered to be the top priority of things to do before messing with your phone i.e. flashing ROMs, kernels, or apps. After you create a backup, the backup file would be located in "sdcard0/TWRP/BACKUPS/" for internally saved backup, and "extSdCard/TWRP/BACKUPS/" if it's saved to the external memory. This file can also be transferred to a different storage, say a hard-disk, if you need to have more space on your phone for something else. You may skip to the actual rooting part. But, in case you do want to create a backup just follow the simple steps below. 1) Boot phone to Recovery Mode
2) Select Backup
3) This part lets you name the backup file with whatever name you want, choose whether to save it internally or externally, and pick which stuff you'd like to backup. And when you're ready, swipe to backup.
*This may take 5-10 minutes depending on how big your whole current installation is.
4) Once done, you may proceed with the 2nd part of this rooting guide.
2nd & Final Step: Flashing SuperSUSuperSU allows for advanced management of Superuser access rights for all the apps on your device that need root.
Required: your phone, and SuperSU (.zip file)
1) Boot phone to Recovery Mode
2) Select Install
2) Locate the zip file SuperSU
3) Go ahead and swipe to install SuperSU *This takes just 5-10 seconds.
4) Reboot System
You now have root access. Good luck!

No need to unlock bootloader for samsung ???
Is it??
How do i update the firmware without having a samsung device?!? manually i think i was told?
you can't. Samsung design it so that requires Samsung phone for all functionalities. Even though you can hack it so that you can run Gear Manager on non-Samsung phone, you can't ask for 100% functionalities.
A. be patient and wait till you get your note edge later on....
or
b. Say the hell with it and do it now!
THIS ONLY APPLIES TO THE R750T!!!
Download stock A07 firmware from here:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/42450/R750TUVU1AOA7_R750TTMB1AOA7_TMB.zip/
Unzip R750TUVU1AOA7_R750TTMB1AOA7_TMB.zip and you should have a folder with two files in it,
specifically R750TUVU1AOA7_R750TTMB1AOA7_R750TUVU1AOA7_HOME.tar.md5 and SS_DL.dll
Make a note of where you saved the file.
Enable USB Debugging on the watch.
Enable USB Debugging
From your home screen swipe up to get into your "apps". Scroll until you find "settings". From the settings window, scroll all the way down to and select "Gear Info". Now scroll down to "USB Debugging" and check the box next to it. Thats it! USB debugging is now on and the watch will be recognized by the SDB shell and ODIN.

Download, unzip and run the executable SAMSUNG_USB_Driver.exe from here, it should look like below.
Its a pretty standard installation, just hit "next" all the way to the end and let it finish*.
*you may be prompted by Windows to let the program make changes, select "yes". It may also tell you that you already have Samsung Drivers installed, thats fine too.
Assuming everything goes OK (I don't see why it wouldn't!) You should have a window pop up like below.
You can confirm everything in your device manager.
Download ODIN from here
follow these instructions....
6. Put your Gear S into download mode.
This is pretty straight forward. From your main clock screen, press and hold the power button. Ignore the power prompts and keep holding until you see the screen that says "rebooting", quickly tap the button once and it should take you to the screen with several options like below.
Tap the button once to move down to "download" and then hold the button to select. It should now look like the screen below.
If those instructions seemed weird to you, check out the YouTube video
Flashing the IMG file using ODIN
At this point your Gear S should be in download mode and plugged into your computer. Open Odin3 v3.09.exe and make sure it says "added" on the bottom left side, it should look like below.
If the screens match up, select the "AP" option and navigate to the " R750TUVU1AOA7_R750TTMB1AOA7_R750TUVU1AOA7_HOME.tar.md5" file.
DO NOT CHANGE ANY OF THE CHECK BOXES UNDER THE OPTIONS SECTION!!
If everything looks good, go ahead and hit the "start" button. Your Gear should look exactly like mine below.
Let it run through its download and it should restart on its own. Odin should then say display a "pass" followed by a "reset" screen.
At this point your Gear will restart and go back to the home screen. You may need to reconnect to your phone and you can let it do any data recovery from the Gear Manager. It will only restore apps and some settings, it wont overwrite the file that was flashed over. To restore your data go into your Gear Manager, go down to Settings, then Backup & Restore, then choose Restore followed by "OK".
If it all went well, Congratulations! Your R750T is running the latest STOCK firmware.
Let me know if you get stuck.

R750W
I am guessing is fine if I flash the latest 2.2.1.4 ROM on my R750W which is still at 2.2.1.3 and has not yet received its update? Has anyone tried it yet?

That update doesnt apply to the R750W yet, currently the latest version for that model is Android 2.2.1.3 = R750WVLU1BNJ7. When the A07 firmware is available for that watch, then you can update. The latest A07 firmware is currently only available for the R750T (Tmobile) and the R750 from certain countries, not the R750A or the R750W.
The watch wont let you flash it anyways, you will get "dev unsupported" .
You can download Kies from samsung, plug your Gear S to your PC. If there is new firmware, it will ask you to update. The you just need to follow the instruction.
P/S: I dont have samsung device , i paired the Gear S with my Pantech VEGA A-850K

Once the CM13 rom-slot has finished flashing, Reboot, System. This may take 5 minutes, if it takes longer then 15 mins its probably in a boot loop and needs to be wiped and reflashed.
