How to get five day weather widget? - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
Does anyone know how i can get the five day weather widget? I downloaded accuweather but that doesn't seem to have the widget i need.

I Use HD Widgets
There is a 5 Day forecast widget...

Or you can try Android Weather. Its pretty basic but it will give you a 5 day forecast and you can customise it, looks really good with a transparent back ground.

I must admit I miss the weather widget on my HTC. HTC Sense to me is far better then touch wiz.

Have you tried opening the Android Market and searching for clock widget? Last I checked there were hundreds of them.

I think HTC's clock/weather widget is by far the best, but for a good alternative, check out Beautiful Widgets in the Market.
Ok I will, didnt know the market have that, thank you for the post.

the only complaint about the stock one is after awhile it looks kinda plain... I love BW just for how much you can customize it, this is the 4th phone I have put it on
Here are some nice widgets to check out:
BattStatt - nonclock
Beautiful Widgets (well worth the money via the market)
Desktop Visualizer - nonclock
Extended Controls - nonclock
One Seven - day of the week
SwitchPro - nonclock
Tajm - text based clock
TypoGraph - text based clock
Not a widget per se, but I'm a new convert to LauncherPro as a substitute app launcher. Its truly awesome and highly customizable.
Let me know if you have any problems finding them.
Also try out Fancy Widget Pro. Best HTC clock replacement in my opinion.

[Q][HC] Sense like widgets in other launchers?

Looking for a calendar and facebook/friendstream widget to use in ADW Ex on Honeycomb. Before Anyone says it, I bought Launcher pro plus years ago and love it, but I get FCs in honeycomb. For calendar I'm using business calendar but it is oddly sized / low resolution compared to the others I mentioned.
Thanks in advance.

Haven't tried them under HC but Android Pro Widgets has a combo Facebook/Twitter widget and a calender widget. You might give them a try.

There really isn't anything out there that is comparable to HTC's sense as far as looks an integration. There are a few clocks, not much else. mail widgets are especially bad. That's why I love sense. I do wish HTC would update sense launcher with a few modern options like grid sizing and more widget re size options. At least in HC they have some resize options but not enough. Yet there is no one widget package that offers much of anything to replace them on the market.

This was perfect. Meets my needs exactly! I was starting to contemplate going back to sense given ADW's problems (currently doesnt allow dock on bottom in landscape, no widgets) and the FCs I was getting in LPP. Thanks so much.

what calender app/widget do you use?

I can't stand how the Samsung Cal widget starts on Monday. However, it is the only widget that I have found that is 5x5. What do you use?
If you run go launcher they have an awesome calendar widget that is theme-able. Think ICS yo

If you change the pref to Monday and then back to Sunday, the widget will update itself.
I use Business Calendar - on sale in Play for 50 cents.

+1 On the Go Launcher EX calendar widget, works perfectly and looks great at the same time.

I enjoy Pure Calendar. You can skin it many different ways; very customizable.

You're right about this. It worked.
How do I get the stock Samsung Calendar widget onto one of my home screens? Is it even possible to have the calendar as a widget? I don't see the option. I would like it to display the full month.

I believe the stock Samsung Calendar widgets are only available in the stock launcher. If you are using the stock launcher then just add it like any other widget.
Post already answered.

What homescreen clock/weather widget do you use?

What clock(/weather) widget do you use on your home screen?
Any widgets from other devices that you wish you could have?

I was using just the 4x1 clock that came with sense but I've started to play with uccw and I'm hooked on this widget. I just wish we'd get a weather fix.
+1 UCCW

Ultimate Custom Clock Widget, huge thread with skins right here on XDA.

Just picked up one more click widget, so far I like it. Lots of different skins, and then you can move stuff around and adjust colors.

not sure what UCCW and others are going to do now that google has shut down the weather api (apparently it ain't coming back). Maybe link to accuweather?
I'm using stock sense 3.6 right now because I don't like to add bloat when the phone already does it.
Used beautiful widgets in the past and it was eating battery for some reason. When using de-sensed ROMs I use weatherbug for weather widget and a digital clock widget for a clock.
Sense 4.0 4x1 at the moment on ViperRez. When I ran AOSP on my DInc, I used Sense Analog Clock Widget; had the larger-style clock, with weather built-in.

I'm really hoping for an accuweather link. I just started using UCCW alittle over a week ago and it rocks. Takes alittle bit to learn but once you do, oh the possibilities...

BeWeather Pro 4x2 widget with clock - because it was on sale.
I use BeWeather, preferring the 4x1 weather widget with clock
I use 1Weather app. I don't like the on screen widget but you can place it in your notification bar.

I use the Sense 4 widget when on RezRom, but on AOSP I like using Fancy Widgets.
Fancy Widget Pro will let you choose from several weather providers, which is nice since WeatherBug seems to be the most accurate in my area.
Whats wrong with UCCW weather? I just started using it last night and I dont see a problem
Hd widgets is pretty sweet, u can make an inverted sense 4 clock

Do you use Google Now? I just activated it on Vigor 360, and now One More Clock Widget is showing weather. Could be the key?

I use SimiClock. Hasn't been updated in ages, but provides a number of configurations, customization, and an embedded launcher.
Tapatalk made me confess "My name's Harold and I'm a flashaholic...."
i use Ultimate custom clock widget. :good:
Am I the only one that actually likes the stock clock? I just love how it actually flips. I always try abunch of other clocks but the part that they don't flip brings me back to the sense clocks.

[APP] Zooper Widget

Found this awesome new app for making crazy custom widgets. Perfect for a main homescreen widget or if you're on aosp as a lock screen main screen widget to replace the chronicle clock widget, which is how I'm using it. Obviously would also work well with widgetlocker. They give u a whole bunch of great starting points to work from too. So even if you don't feel like taking any time to customize your own u can still get a sick comprehensive widget. I did a little customizing in mine but not too much...about 15 mins worth maybe. Here's some screenshots and the market link:
