HELP! How to flash back to stock rom? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

delete

if the file you want is an ftf you use flashtool on most xperias. that how it was for the entire 2010 line and the 2011. should be the same for the xperia P, check the x10 mini android development and any of the nAa kernels for a link

[Q] Port ROM to Xperia

As I know, it isn't hard to port a ROM to another device, since I did it on my Tablet about a year ago.
I just copyed the things I liked from system\app to system\app. And didn't touch the camera app.
Unfortunately, things changed since than. Sony is using a .ftf format and the ROM is stored in sys and bin files (maybe it already was back than - i just forgot about it).
So my question is, how to port a ROM, for example the AOSP from Google to a Xperia device? Is it even possible? Is it harder than it was earlier (or did I just have very much luck back than?)
PS:
To the category where I am posting:
The "Sony Xperia S" General forum is for tips, tricks, news, etc. about the Xperia S, NOT for questions.
For all questions about your Xperia S, please go to the Q & A section.

I am not talking about Xperia S so I thought this belongs here!
And if not here, where then? We only have these sections:
Xperia S, P, U, Sola, Acro S General
Xperia S Q&A
Xperia S, P, U, Sola, Acro S Accessories
Xperia S Android Development
Xperia Sola Android Development
Android development for the Sony Xperia Acro S
Xperia U Android Development
Xperia P Android Development
Xperia S, P, U, Sola, Acro S Themes and Apps

And it's not a MOD/ROM/etc, not a accesoire and not a theme/app!

There is ongoing progress on porting CM9 to the Xperia P (which I assume is the device you're interested in). No GSM yet, so kinda useless, but we're getting there. There is a CWM based recovery, too, so flashable zips will be fine.
Thread moved to Q & A section, kindly post in the relevant section next time, you've been warned.
Are you kidding me? This is Xperia S Q&A
AND MY QUESTION IS NOT ABOUT THE XPERIA S!
