any idea to enhance/tweak the phone performance? thanks

Try : V6 Supercharger http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991276, Kickass Kernelizer http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=7649 and experiment with build.prop editing http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...51&postcount=1. I think these are enough to get start with. It's a whole new world just in front of you.

I can't find it.. can you tell me how to root sk17i 4.0.4 .. ??
You need to downgrade to GB and then use local.prop method. There is a tutorial on the Dev section

Xperia Mini Pro SK17i Update mystery
Xperia Mini Pro SK17i update is mystery, i update my Xperia Mini Pro to 4.0.4 ICS and i experienced certain inconsistencies, after searching for hours it found that i should repair my update and after that do factory default, i did that and it made my phone much better. Now everything is fine accept one think that making me hate my phone, it's battery backup which is very ugly. It hardly goes one day in mostly standby mode.
If anyone else like me is frustrated with only battery issue or know how to fix it than please reply...
This might useful for you ,

hi guys,
I am quite a noob, and trying to figure this xperia thing, after at last I managed to nicely root and flash my htc.
But it seems on xperia it is all working different. What I need, is generally to delete bloatware, to do so I need root.
But to get root I need to flash a ROM first? In htc it's rooting so that you can flash roms. It all gets me confused.
Is there a way then to root without any weird downgroading/flashing roms?
Agnes
If you are on gingerbread you can root it on older Firmware than .62/.69, otherwise you must downgrade and upgrade again. Just Check out my signature

If you want to remove bloatware apps it's easier to remove them from the zip package before you flash the rom.
Open the the rom using 7zip or similar program (open archive NOT extract it).
Then go into the system folder and there is an app folder (system/app).
The app folder contains pretty much most the app's that are on your rom.
Just go through them and delete the app's you don't want, there are plenty of lists around of safe apps to delete/remove, there are some on here and if you google you will find more.

ok
what rom you advice me to flash?
I'd try real ics lite or MiniCMSandwich.
Minicmsandwich looks like a vanilla rom, so it's got a nice Design.
Just scroll around in development section and Open some threads. There is written, if it's for Locked Bootloader, too.
If you like miui you could install HasaMIUI, as far as I Know it's for Locked Bootloader, too

Mate,I am also facing the same problem, for some reasons, I also want stock systemui.apk but I can't get it anywhere.
But my question is that our Xperia go has only 1 Ghz Processor, and u said that u had overclocked it to1.15 Ghz!!!,but how????
I have root access and I have installed setcpu but it has
Options only upto 1 Ghz.pls tell me how to overclock to 1.15 Ghz.
Pls reply me,soon.:silly:
To overclock it, if i'm not mistaken, root is not enough. You have to unlock bootloader and install a custom kernel. Because the stock kernel doesn't support overclocking.
Do you know there is a section called "Q/A, Help" available for help and request !!

Did you create a backup of your stock rom before going for cyan??
If u did then just restore the backup & then flash a stock kernel. You'll be fine.

hi i just recently switched from an xperia x10 mini (mimi) to an XPERIA U ST25a
Android 2.3.7
firmware 6.0.B1.564
kernel 2.6.35.7+

can someone link me on how to root this device im not sure if its the same way i did

i honestly want to get the most of it. thanks for the help in advance.
I HAVE A PROBLEM WHEN TRYINT TO ROOT IT SAYS IM IN MTP MODE, and i dont know how to disable that seems like its by defautl
Just look in this section for an gbrocks and flash it it stock modified gb rom and work great and its also prerooted.
P.S. wrong section pal, it should be in Q/A section, and in future just use search button on this forum coz its been answerd a lot of times

First of all wrong section, you may put in the Q & A section,
Secondly there is no rating for custom kernels/ROMs, every development is best in its own unique way !
Use search for rooting methods

THANKS I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY ROOTED AND UNLOCKED MY PHONE
now im trying to install CWM but on that page it shows only CWM for ICS
im running ANDROIDN 2.3.7
i tried it and when i turn off phone i rapidly prass vol down and shows the blue green blue light but then it goes back to sony logo and starts normally
Now as you have unlocked your boot loader you can flash custom kernels, most of them have pre installed CWM.
Check for GB ROMs in the development forum.
Or CM9 ROMs are pretty smooth and simple, you may flash stock ICS (ftf file) and flash a CM9 ROM.
