Eh, I'm not sure if the rules are still all weird when it comes to posting swype.apk's. Just go onto Swype.com, and get the latest beta installer. I think they also updated the installer lately too, because the one I had from before wouldn't install the new beta.

I haven't had any luck with swype since the version 1.xxx days. So well over a year ago almost two years when I got my evo 4g. It just gets slower and more inaccurate. Trace keyboard that comes in some roms is working well and easy to theme. Like this :

New Swype beta works awesome. Normally, it is screwed up on reboot but since installing the new version and rebooting three times to confirm, you don't have to change it to landscape and back to get it full screen anymore. I love Swype and am glad they fixed it!

i dont think it works like that. idk. what i did was register/sign up at Swype's website and then they sent me an email link to download Swype.

I haven't used it in a while, but this is working great.I like the handwriting option, not practical but cool.
I didn't use the last version because I thought it was too small (especially compared to stock keyboard, swift key, smart keyboard, etc. This new version is finally taller (still not as tall as I'd like on our 4.3" screen) so I'm gonna try it for awhile
Swiping is very accurate, but actual typing on it (which you have to do sometimes) is pretty bad compared to other keyboards. If they could improve typing accuracy, add some customization for key height, long key press duration, and swipe to delete last word, it would be perfect. But still needs some work in my opinion...

I was trying to use the Vignette camera app and whenever I take a pic, the end result is a sceen with a lot of lines on it. I tried to take a pic with the regular camera app and that worked fine. So I'm just trying to see if other people also have this issue.

I tried to run the demo just to help you out and ran into a bunch of errors, my app would just flicker and die, so sorry I couldn't help but it looks like it may be the app?
Vignette is running fine here.

If you are really worried about it maybe you could try a fresh reset and make it the first app you install, especially if it was working for karn.

I just emailed the developer to alert them of the issue.
I emailed the developer and was sent the link to a test build. It works like a charm.

Well, as I'm in the same boat as thoughtlesskyle as far as my ability to root goes, I thought I would bring my Minimal Boards over to the 3D. I hope you enjoy.

+++ INSTRUCTIONS +++
Download from the attachments at the bottom.
Install like any other apk. As I signed mine with a different auto signer than Tk did, and if you have one of his boards installed, you'll probably need to uninstall that one before this one will install.
Once installed, enable the 3vo keyboard in keyboards & languages. This will install along side the HTC board.
Then just change your input method to the 3vo keyboard and enjoy.
Any issues please let me know. It's been a little bit since I've worked on these and I'm a little rusty. More colors may be made, depending on how popular this one is.

I'm currently running cm7 and had to download the gb keyboard from the market (quick fix due to cm still in valpha) and I did everything correct to get your keyboard working but it won't pop up for me (installed, keyboard language select, and input method). I would bet it has something to do with cm7. I'll try this on my daughters 3d (viper) when she gets home and report back to ya. I frigging love the looks of the red one!

Yeah, thoughtlesskyle is having issues with these ginger boards and cm in his thread. As I used his base as my base I would expect the same issues. I'm also thinking that it is a cm7 issue, not the keyboard.
OP updated with attachments and metal board.
Looks like I'm going to be jealous of my daughters dope ass red keyboard. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread for the day it works on cm7.

It almost looks like someone forward-ported the Gingerbread NFC stack.
I'll look at it this weekend maybe... next few days will be busy.

Yup, seems to work. I've tried contacts and an address in maps and they all beamed.
I had to shoot the video on my wife's i**** 4 so believe me when I tell you it hurt my hands to hold that thing...
The case is from Best Buy. I don't know the brand. It just has "Pt" on the back. It came with a belt clip which I don't use. I don't really like it that much but I didn't want to walk out of the store with this beauty unprotected.

How do I get rid of this icon? It's annoying. Anytime I have to type something its there.... It happened a few days after I install SwiftKey and even if I un install SwiftKey and use samsung keyboard it is still there.... I remember when I used aokp rom this would happen but there was a disable icon in settings.... Can't find it here.

This is due to ICS. AFAIK you can't remove it.

it's there to allow you to switch input methods. i use it quite often going between Swype, stock and Japanese.

Exactly, I have certain apps that don't play well with Swype as the input method so it's nice to be able to quickly switch to stock.
How is an icon annoying? Why are you even looking at it if you're typing currently?
Because I know what keyboard I'm using.... If I wanted to change it I would go to settings.... Not go to my task bar. I don't want to be reminded of it every time I type... And saying why are you looking at it? Don't be stupid. That area is for notifications not useless icons. Would u want a camera icon there when you used camera, Gmail, etc???? No you would not.

I finally it mostly annoying but there are times i've used it.

If it ain't ics it won't show or if is a rooted rom too, also it only appears when you have multiple keyboards I believe (stock ics doesn't show until you install another keyboard.)

I hate this icon with a burning passion. God forbid I'm not otherwise informed that the keyboard is open! Ugh... makes me wanna exit to the home screen before I lock the screen so I don't have to see the stupid icon.

Yup been using it since the 11/8 build. Camera didn't work in the first build and it was still worth running. Everything is pretty damn solid now. Camera works great. Have yet to find something I use daily not working.

Installed this ROM recently after upgrading my Nexus 7 (grouper) to 4.4.
On the Note 2 I:
1) Backed up stock in ClockworkMod Touch.
2) Flashed the ROM
3) Flashed Paranoid Android's 4.4 compatible Google Apps
4) Flashed SuperSU
5) Factory Reset in CWM
booted that Sumamabich up...
Then:
1) Let Play Store download all my apps
2) enabled Developer Options and changed the runtime to ART.
After reboot:
1) Tried Camera..system DID NOT reboot.
2) As many have noted, "Recent Apps" does not function when the Home button is long pressed. You have two options that do not require modifying build.prop:
a) Download an app from the playstore (like "recentapps) to shortcut to this menu. Or
b). Install Nova Launcher (other launchers may also allow this functionality) to enable gestures. I set "double tap" to open the recent apps menu.
So far, everything else works great. I've noted significantly better battery life over stock 4.1.2 and a subjective performance boost. ART has caused no glitches thus far.
I would have put this in the ROM post in the OD forum, but I can't post there yet.

Running Great here, I dirty flashed PA 4.0 over CM11. Wanted long press recents, I have had no issues. I am using ART. Today I unplugged from the charger at 5:30 AM and have been using it off and on to take pictures, read and send email, Install a few apps, and facebook. I even have location on high accuracy. Battery still 85% 48min screen on time 5h 49min on battery. Sweet!

Worked great for me too, a little buggy but battery life was phenomenal!
I have been running it for last 3 days and it works awesome so far, I did a clean install using latest clock works mod,
only thing not working is proximity sensor for me. everything else is awesome!!!!
