I have had my Htc amaze for 6 months.
I can never get a good night shot with it.
What settings do you guys use to get night shots?
Here is a picture I took in total darkness, after trying 15 times to get a decent pic.

Here's a pic I took in the darkness:
I'm using the HQ mod on ICS.
I guess the camera quality at night just isnt good then
For the ones I've taken, I gotta say it isn't that bad at all, looks way better than my s2 did.
mine comes out great in the dark but i did mess with settings and also i have a modded cam so try getting a modded cam in the Themes & Apps section

I'm really enjoy the Xperia S, but one problem I have is that the camera seems to easily go out of focus and then I move it a little and it will focus then unfocus again. using the autofocus button fixes it, but its still annoying have to deal with this.
Sometimes when focusing on a close object then away it can take a while to refocus...
Has anyone else experienced this, or could it be a fault?
Have AF trouble with video, but not with stills.
I think the issues I have also are found when filming, but I haven't test this fully yet.
yeah its crazy sometimes
I have FX camrea zoom.. works a muillion times better than the built in camera
Try using infinity auto focus.

Yes , the focus is slower than arc and take long time to take a picture in certain moment .
But the trade is you will get perfect white balance with nice photo clarity .

Hey,
On HTCs Facebook page, they posted an image of the HTC One X in dark and light versions... or at least so it seems at first sight.
But if you look more closely, the phone on the right (dark one) has more edges than the real One X on the left. Also the speaker looks differently than anything I have seen so far.

I love the looks of it and would really consider buying this phone... if it really exists. Anybody any information about this?
Or is it just some international version of the One X(L)?
Thanks in advance. :good:

black rings really annoy me. Sorry for this big resolution, I'm writing this from my phone!
I can't be sure, but I think it's to do with dust getting inside the camera lens. I'm pretty sure it's nothing to do with the software. Maybe hit it? xD I have no idea, maybe next time upload an image to a host and link it.
This has nothing to do with software...

Yeah i know, this doesn't have anything with software, is possible to i open ny phone, buy new camera and replace to this old one, will my problem be fixed?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
Well, first time around the camera was just black. Read about other people having the same issues, basically, don't apply the camera fix.
After I got out of that mess, I ended up with blurry images, the camera won't focus at all.

Found the issue, broken auto focus in the camera hardware. You can't hear it when you shake the phone around either. Going in for a replacement.

Probably, because my wifes htc one has a rattle while mine doesn't and I hadn't taken any pictures with it before that, hard to tell.
