The s2 came with polaris office. Although there is no app icon, if you open a pdf, doc, xls etc on the s3 it opens polaris viewer and tells you a full Polaris office is available from "samsung more" service. I can't find it.
Anyone managed to get it?

Thanks but £5/£10 is a bit much for think free or quick office (seeing as polaris was free on the s2, and I don't need it that desperately).
Looks like full Polaris may be on the s3 at some point, guess ill just wait.

Yeah me too can't find the full polaris in the "more services"
I sent an email to Polaris Office support, who confirmed that it should be available in the near future. I then asked the obvious "when?" and received the following response:
From: [email protected]
Dear Customer,
Thank you for your inquiry.
In case of pre-installed versions it’s up to hardware manufacturer’s to provide the downloads/the updates. We are sorry to inform you that we can’t be sure the date.
It really depends on SAMSUNG.
You need to contact SAMSUNG about it.
Thanks for interest.
With Best Regards
Polaris Office CS Team
I went to there web page and it claims it has not been released yet, they need to hurry up!

From what I have heard this is the best one of all. Think it will handle more formats than the others but not sure at this point. I had a .docx come via my email not long ago and neither Quickoffice Pro or OfficeSuite Pro would open it. Will try this and see if it will.
Hmm, I thought data viz was bought out by Research in Motion. I wouldn't have thought that android would have been well supported. I guess if you can't beat em join em.

Did it work?
Is it possible to get a printing app for the Galaxy SIII which can print directly from the web and all your documents? The ones I can find can only print out pictures, screenshots and scanned documents.
Printershare is good
+1 for printershare.
Don't need anything else.
Does exactly what you need.
Expensive but worth it.

I use cypria, I can't remember if its only for Epson tho.

I tried printer share but only free version then found Cloud Print, it uses Chrome's built in printer sharing and works perfectly, and it's free. I'd definitely recommend it over printer share
These may seem like a silly questions, however I was watching the premium suite and one of the things I saw was some kind of 3D birthday card app - My first question is where is it? I have upgraded to ICS and I am having a difficult time finding it. My second question is, does the person receiving one of these cards also need to have this app on their phone?
Thank you in advance for any help.
The app is called My Story. To the best of my knowledge, the recipient needs to have the app as well, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, the person you are sending it to has to have the app and be a friend of yours on it. How many people have the note though :/ seriously....
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.mystory
I have to download it from market manually on my phone and then my friend's. The above information is all correct. Neat app, but a little restricting in its use.

The app is now compatible with many Samsung devices, so it's not just Note to Note. My wife has an S3 and worked fine.

only useful if the recipient has a galaxy note or other recent Samsung galaxy phone
Hi! I'm new here, and was wondering how you add friends to the My Story app? I noticed that you were able to send something to your wife through it, and she doesn't have a Note. I REALLY appreciate your help!

I just got the official ICS update here in Canada...
I tried to test out the My Story App on my note and on my dad's note both running stock ICS that got released today but we were both able to send without any error to each other except we don't seem to receive the letter... Does anyone else have this problem or might know how to fix this? Tried on both Wifi and on data (connections are both really strong) so it is not internet problem.
Thank you.

All respect for the USA, but is the rest off the world not good enough?
this is not correct.
I can't post the way to fix this but there's a way, (2 ways that work) but I think it can be mod in the app itself.
will give it a try 4 sure

It is about licensing issues. To get around chasing up their own licensing deals they went through a company called Slacker (according to Engadget). Slacker is unavailable in my country (Australia) and so Samsung Milk is too. I believe Slacker is available in the UK but obviously I can't test this and frankly I'm too lazy to check. If that is the case you could reasonably expect Samsung to expand to the UK shortly if they make a deal with Slacker. Countries that don't have Slacker are probably in for a much longer wait.
Is it Samsung milk or coffee?

It's ad free "for a limited time" but it IS compatible with Viper4android... unlike the stock Samsung music app.

I recently got my S5 and was surprised to see there is no Samsung Hub installed. I tried the Play Store and it says app not compatible with device.
I tweeted Samsung to ask I how get all my purchased content from the hub to my S5 and their answer was to use Samsung Link on my phone, well that didn't work.
My next stop was at the new Samsung Experience store, to say they were clueless is an understatement, the advisor was tapping away at my phone trying to find it, he then resorted to using Chrome on my phone and Googling the answer to which he said I should download the apk file, well I've just done that and that didn't work.
Any advice on how to rectify this would be appreciated, I just want all the films that I've previously purchased in the past from the hub onto my Galaxy S5.
Cheers
