[Q] does your volume randomly change and stutter playing m4a music ? - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi all, i just got the international version s3. i came from iphone4 so i've got a large m4a music library, it plays by default on s3 fine. only the sound volume suddenly lowers to 0 and after 2 seconds it resumes playing.
or sometimes ( every 1 or 2 min ), it stutters and resume playing in 1-2 seconds.
some of the m4a are converted by itunes and were fine on my iphone4.
i tried stock music player and poweramp , same problem.
my music files are on sandisk 64g sdxc uhs-1 class 10 card, with default exFAT file system. is this the problem ?

[Q] MX Player on Nook Tablet 8GB CM7 - Clicking Noise when Power Off in Playback

Nook Tablet 8GB, rooted, running CM7 on SD card.
Running latest version of MX Player.
When MX Player is playing a video and I hit the power switch to sleep the Nook, I can hear over the headphones (regular earbuds) a click-click-click-click.... sound that never stops.

This only occurs when MX Player was playing a video just before I sleeped the Nook. This does not occur if MX Player is not running.
1) Can anyone else duplicate this on their Nook & MX Player?
2) Does anyone else have another Android device they can test this on?
I'm trying to figure out if this is my Nook hardware at fault or MX Player.
I had similar problem with music player.. i heard its possibly a clocking issue when you put nook to sleep. It underclocks causing it to not read sd card properly.
Try copying file into the internal memory and test. It solved the music problem.
PS. I am running cm7 internal on 16gb nt.

Mine does the same thing. I think MX Player wants to keep playing, but sleep ain't letting it, so it just pops.
Simplest solution? Exit MX Player before you sleep your NT
Sent from my Nexus S using Tapatalk
whnever i run the mx player, it stops "unfortunately" :-/
I moved the player and files around between internal memory and sd card to no avail.
Playing with the settings, have narrowed it down to the HW/SW video decoder setting.
The continuous clicking occurs during sleep when HW decoder is enabled, but does not occur when SW decoder is enabled.
will be contacting mx player developers next...

[Q] Andless mp3 player- Media PLayer error‏

When I play mp3s with Andless mp3 player.
I get "Media player error" message displayed at lot when I play mp3s. Is that due to the Andless app. Player, The mp3 itself or the sd card media I am using that is the cause ? It skips playing that mp3 song and goes to play the next mp3 on the list.
What is the problem ? How can I prevent this from happening ?
Thanks

Music Skipping Problem

I'm having an issue with music playback. About once every song there is a short pause. Only happens when the mp3s are coming from the microsd card (Sandisk Ultra 128gb microsdxc class 10). Playback is smooth from internal memory. Transferring songs from microsd to internal memory transfers at 25mb/s so it doesn't seem to be a hardware issue.
I've tried:
Moving sim card to the other spot
Turning off wifi
Restoring back to stock (I'm running debloat script, no swap, rooted, adaway)
The problem still persists. The microsd came from a moto g 2015 and I did not have this issue with that phone.
Anyone have the same issue or know of a fix?
Uninstalling Facebook messenger worked for me.
Are you using Emui/stock music player? Which player do you use? Are you listening through phone speaker/headphones/Bluetooth? I have not experienced this issue with stock Music app on phone spesker so far.

I'm using Poweramp but have the same issue with Google music. I haven't tried the stock player. Issue happens through Bluetooth, headphones (wired), and phone speaker.
Messenger is not installed. Using Google now launcher.
Almost seems like it runs out of memory because it also happens when I open another app while listening to music.
It seems there are 2 folders added to the sd card, Android and LOST.DIR. Maybe the system is writing to these folders while I listen to music?
I tried a different sd card (Samsung Evo 32GB) and have the same issue. At this point I am assuming I have a defective phone.
