[REQUEST] Galaxy S III LTE Android Development sub-forum - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can we get a sub-forum for those of us who have the Dual-Core S4 / 2GB RAM LTE variant?
This would help people find the roms and kernels that work on their devices.
It would look similar to the Nexus S forums.
Thank you,
Josef

Samsung unveils the Galaxy Ace Plus

source:-http://www.zdnet.co.uk/blogs/tech-tech-boom-10017860/samsung-galaxy-ace-plus-heads-for-uk-10025134/
samsung has announced the Galaxy Ace Plus, which slots in just above its predecessor in the Galaxy range, adding a better processor and larger screen.
The device was announced by the Korean company on Tuesday and will ship to customers in Russia first, beginning in January, and will then be "gradually rolled out" to Europe, Latin America, Asia, China and other regions, Samsung said.
"In 2012, we will continue to make every effort to create an easy and fun mobile experience by expanding our incredibly popular GALAXY smartphone range, which is now one of the most recognized and successful mobile brands in the world," JK Shin, president of IT & mobile at Samsung, said in a statement.
The Galaxy Ace Plus will join more expensive and higher specified devices in the Galaxy range, such as the Galaxy S, S II, Ace and Mini.
The Ace Plus features an upgraded processor — up to 1GHz from 800MHz in the Ace — 5-megapixel camera, 3.65-inch display and 3GB of onboard storage. It also offers smartphone staples including Wi-Fi, HSPDA connectivity and pre-loaded social networking features via Samsung's Social Hub and ChatON services.
Like some other lower-end Android devices such as the Wildfire S, the handset will arrive running the Gingerbread — Android 2.3 — operating system with Samsung's proprietary TouchWiz UI atop. However, higher-end devices are now available to buy that use the newer Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0) version of Android.
The device will also have to fend off competition from Chinese manufacturers like ZTE and Huawei, which want to increase their consumer recognition and smartphone market share in the European market using devices running the Android OS.
Pricing for the Galaxy Ace Plus has not yet been disclosed.

There doesn't seem to be a specific section for Ace Plus on XDA-Developers....
Do ROMs and stuff from the Galaxy Ace work on Galaxy Ace plus?
Or there is specific related stuff to this?

[Q] Best Android Under 30K(INR)

Hi guys,
Can you please suggest me a best android phone under 30,000/- (INR) price range.
Galaxy SII (friend got battery problem in 3months)
Sensation XE (Touch screen problems as some developers mentioned in some forums)
So, i need your reviews and more phones please...
you can get S2 as it is currently the best out there , but beware of the i9100g model which has Omap chipset and not good, Get I9100 International version with has Mali chipset.
Nexus S is also a good buy , as it already is running ICS officially from Google ,
If you can increase budget i would recommend Galaxy Nexus or Galaxy Note ....

[Q] question

i just have a question. Whats the difference between the n7000 and the att galaxy note. And can a n7000 4.1 rom be ported over to the att note, and if so is there any progress. if there is already a topic sorry bout that, please post a link if there is one thanx
1. A Google search would have answered this.
2. Not a very descriptive thread title. We know it's a question, this is the q&a section. Be specific.
3. Completely different cpu, the n7000 kernel will brick the I717.
With the exynos cpu modules being closed source (hence cyanogenmod no longer officially supporting exynos equipped devices) I highly doubt there are efforts to port that kernel to the Qualcomm equipped I717
They have different video processors as well. That is why theirs can handle the multi window interface and the i717 can't.
