Hi Xda,
I have a passion for Android, and when I look at the work of the developers:
roms, themes, mods, I would start to develop something myself, the problem is
that I do not know where to start. which programs should I use? that
programming languages should I know? if you can help me answer this post,
thanks.
Start with apps.

Does this look like your personal help section to you?
This is the development section for posting devs work and reference etc. Use the General/Q&A forum for this type of stuff.
Also, you have obviously not even bothered to read anything before creating your topic. Please use some common sense, Obviously there is going to be guides created about this topic, stop been lazy and go and look for and read them.
PS.. There is no "best" rom, try then and use one that you like best.
whoops, double post. bloody browser.

Seriously? I'm 14 and I can understand the concept of the 'development' and 'Q and A' forums. Also, Google is an extremely useful website. In your case the search button on this forum is even more useful.
Also, most builds give clear and simple instructions for this rather simple task. Reading can help you know.
Dear all,
Thanks for advice & correction.

Im not sure about 4. but Revolution ROM is pretty nice. Im using it, its still stock with tweaks. Supports themes (jKay too). Call recording - you have to mod that by yourself. Arabic support.. Im not sure

If i helped you, press thanks. Thanks.
Please take your time to use the search.
As already mentioned the forums are well structured and even going from page to page the [ROM] Titles tend to say allot.
On that note thread closed.

Just look for Cyanogenmod or AOKP ROMs (In android dev forum)
Instead of whining just look for it yourself. There are already alot of kids here. If you want something go find it. If you want to write get a pencil, a pencil won't come to you you know.

Thanks I try AOKP rom.
I don't think any pure AOSP ROMs exist for the GTi9100. The closest I could find was koud aosp.

Hi guys,
Before I rush into C#, I was a good programmer at VB6. I tried to learn JAVA from the net. But couldn't, due to my bad English. So I tried C#, honestly learning it was easy to me. Because VB and C# in the same boat Though I'm still learning C#, no pro yet . So, I thought someone will like to learn C# and develop android apps. So you can find E-books here,

Thank you very much
@ScatteredHell, better compile all those links and paste all of them on the OP. Good job otherwise, very useful. :good:
I would like also to learn C# or any other programming language. But there's so many references here that i don't know what to read. Please advise me which one is the best for a total noob.
