does anyone know if there is away to bypass this?
I come across it in almost all sharing apps even in the mail app on wifi and 3g
Sorry if this has been asked before but i couldn't find any threads.
as i know google limits the attachement size...
(have read somewhere) 20mb through web-ui and 2.x mb at android but can´t confirm imho...
attachments that do not go through may also be caused by the receiver of the message (and their email account limit for attachments.)
my quick test:
trying to send a 12mb attachment through gmail to a yahoo account
-> msg is remains at outgoing-dir..saying will be send..
trying to send a 12mb attachment through normal mail app (yahoo) to my gmail account
-> got failure notice (unable to deliver) and a notice to googles attachment guidelines
sending to another yahoo account
-> send successfully but waiting for delivery
-> after hours still waiting for delivery...
hope that helps a little to find ur answers...
:silly: omg...this post is from may´11...shame on me...
Hello, tried searching , can't find anything here.
I have push email with stock email client, connected to my company's Notifylink server, the main mail server is Groupwise.
The stock email client is displaying messages as plain text with all headers and html tags on screen - almost impossible to read. See the attached screen grab.
Is this a problem with how Notifylink is set up at my company? Other android phones and iPhones do not have this problem though.
Please help.

anyone? any pointers? please?
You'll need to speak to your System/Email Admin. My corporate Exchange Server account displays html just fine.
Hello forum,
I was wondering if it's possible to change the standard download size for emails in motoblur (at a corporate account). At bigger emails I always have to hit the "get more" button. Can I change this somehow?
My stock, unrooted AT&T Note always auto-downloads images (embedded images, not attachments) in email messages. Better email clients offer an option to download embedded images so that by merely opening a message you don't send spammers the green light that your email address is valid.
I've gone through the settings but I don't see a way to turn off auto-downloading of images - am I missing a setting? I've reduced the download size to 2K in hopes that that will help, but I'd rather download the entire text contents of a message except the images.
edit: stock email client, by the way. I have used others but I like having one program interface for 2 IMAP accounts and an exchange account.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus and a Samsung Galaxy S4, when trying to use beam/NFC to share contact details to the other phone all the contact details get transferred but the contact picture, Is there a way to fix this anybody know?
I am using the default contacts/people app on both phones.
And where is the option for twitter/intagra/facebook etc on the default contacts/people? come on Google Android.
Any help would be much appreciated.:good:
