Any Kernel with Mdnie colour tuning? - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Are there any kernels or Roms for the SGS3 which is implementing Mdnie tuning out there?

not yet

Thank you, is this something that will be included in kernel or actual custom roms?

[Q] Compiling Voodoo Color into jt1134's GB AOSP Kernel

I'm currently using jt1134's newest pre-compiled kernel for CM7 but I noticed that Voodoo Color isn't integrated into it like the Glitch kernel. Currently, all kernels for CM7/MIUI work except the Glitch one, which actually corrupts any system image I have on my phone at any given time w/o any alterations to voltage and/or OC.
My question is: Is there readily available documentation on compiling the Samsung Fascinate kernel from source for CM7/MIUI with Voodoo Sound & Color modules baked in? I'd like to use jt1134's latest commit with TkGlitch's Voodoo Sound & Color integration. I have an Ubuntu VM readily available for any compiling on my end.
Thanks for any feedback on this.

Best Kernel App for Carbon Rom / Trinity Kernel

Hey guys,
Carbon Rom 1.7 apparently uses Trinity Kernel. The Trinity Kernel Toolbox is, imo, a poor application in this context; frequently does not apply at boot voltage, loses settings.
Carbon Rom 1.7 does not work with Performance Control either; if apply @ boot set, performance control crashes upon boot.
I would really love to see something like stweaks compatibility with Carbon Rom, but I understand the kernel must be modified to enable compatibility.
Could anyone recommend a kernel control application, or a guide on init.d (specifically max clocks, voltage settings)?
Thanks,
Alex

Custom cm13 kernel

I recently got a m9 and noticed the lack of custom aosp kernels, I was looking to build the cm13 kernel with missing features added, like better governors, etc. There was an attempt here http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-m9/development/cm-based-kernel-kernel-hotplug-t3213980 but the lock screen is unresponsive. I've had experience with android but not building from source, I have a linux environment set up I just need help knowing what is compatible. There are good sense kernels for m9 and cm13 for m8 just not sure what I need to change to get it working. Thanks any help is appreciated thanks, I would like something like a smartass similar governor, better tcp congestion, and intelliplug hotplug,

Hello, I have questions about kernel of g850.

I have never rooted it or touched my g850 's kernel, it is 5.0.2 lollipop and kernel version is 3.10.9-8213318.
I want to benchmark performance and power consumption on exynos5430 with HMP scheduler and Energy Aware Scheduler.
I have 2 questions about that.
Is my g850's kernel include HMP scheduler(Global task scheduler)? I mean, does it applied on my kernel and my g850's processor is running with HMP Scheduler without any configuration?
And, If I want to install 3.18 kernel which include Energy Aware Scheduler, what kind of defconfig i have to use?
I checked arch/arm/config, but there are only arm's fundamental defconfig files.(like acs5k, armadillo, exynos, versatile .... etc)
Is there any defconfig for g850? or can I use 5430-base_defconfig(I can't paste link here)?
I've been built kernel for linux, but I'm new to android, so I wish you guys help me for this...

What about custom kernels for pie?

Why is not available any kernel for Oreo/Pie roms? I would really like to see a kernel for Pie to edit the frequences due to overheating...
