I'm thinking of getting a Samsung S3. I'm wondering if AT&T's model comes with EAP-SIM like the French one. Or if it was omitted - like every other Android phone.

New to the forum. I'm about to purchase a Samsung Galaxy S2 in Hong Kong.
I was wondering if this phone will work on AT&T's network, namely their 3G and their 4G frequency. It'll be quite pointless to get this phone if I couldn't utilize it's speed.

Dear XDA friends, I'm currently in the state, and using Galaxy S for Tmobile.
However, my mom coming to the state, and she says she will bring her Galaxy S2 for me cuz she recently changed to Note. So this would be an upgrade chance for me, and I love the design of international and Asian versions better than US version.
My question is, is it going to be possible to root, and flash one of the S2 roms that are in this site??? I'm aware i won't be able to use 3G speed, but if im lucky i would get new 1900mhz 3G though in SF. The phone is already country unlocked, but the reason why I'm trying to flash new rom is one of Korean wireless company developed their own messaging system on their S2 phones so because of that i won't be able to send text and mms.
If the interantional version and Korean version is the same, then sorry for my ignorance, but if they are different, can someone please give me help?

I have in my possession a Brand new galaxy s3 from SKT in Korea.
I have tried putting in my ATT gsm card and calling and txting works but cannot update nor navigate.
Is there anything i can do to fully use it with ATT?
(this is the quad core galaxy with the antenna)
You have to unlock it. Find one online. Then change the apn settings. To AT&T.
Hey all, I recently purchased a galaxy tab 10 off kijiji, and I'm wondering which version I have. It says it's a gt p7500r which I believe is the Rogers variant here in Canada. It has a sim slot and wifi. Is there a more generic name it has, or a code name. I'd like to know what to look for when getting accessories or flashing roms. Thanks.

I have a Galaxy S4(SHV-E330S) that I bought from Korea and would like to see if this can be somehow converted into T-Mobile. I understand that there is a hardware limitation that does not allow me to use 4G LTE in T-Mobile. However, I was wondering if I could flash the phone with T-Mobile ROM so that I could use features like Wi-Fi calling. Does anyone know of a way to achieve this?
