Enabled and disabled power saving mode and haptic feedback isn't working anymore.
Restart didn't fix it

How did you get it back? Mine stopped working randomly.
Mine just stopped working this morning..can anyone help? I tried to reset, I tried turning it on and off - nothing. Vibration with calls and notifications still work and so does the vibration on my keyboard.
It's only the soft keys. I'm stumped.

I might have a similar issue; I've notice for a while that the haptic turns itself off. I'm not sure what causes it or how to permanently fix, so so far all I've been able to do is go back into settings/sound/haptic feedback and turn it on again.

Suddenly the vibration and the haptic feedback does not work.
I've tried every option I can think of to fix it but still no vibration.
Any advice to get it working again would be greatly appreciated.

I'm also having the same problem. Suddenly I can't seem to find the vibration options in the message notification settings.
I also tried the suggestion above and it did not work for me.
I read somewhere that resetting to factory settings worked for them. But I'm still looking for other options or the cause of the problem before resorting to resetting or going for repairs.
Attached screenshots for those who would want to help.
Hey little thing here, my back button and settings button at the bottom of my phone used to vibrate when pressed now it has stopped, anyone know how to get it back on?

And if that doesn't help then take Power Saving mode off.

I think beyond a vibrator (giggle) failure these are the two most logical options.
I have the opposite problem. My back, home and menu buttons vibrate when I touch them. How can I disable the vibration? I'm using android 4.2.1
This are my current settings.

Factory reset.
Hi guys!
Currently running miui and I've started having some issues. The experience is flawless expect for one little thing, I can't make calls. It used to work but has all of a sudden stopped working.
There is only silence when I attempt to make a call, however the phone I'm calling rings, but if picked up you can't hear anything. Then it would automatically hang up and say no service.
It seems like the phone isn't latching onto the network or disconnecting when I make a call at least.
Any help would be appreciated.

Sir, doesn't this sound like a problem either with the Modem or some system files (Like phone.apk) ?
Well, you are the senior.
Just a doubt actually..
It is just a possible solution, derived from similar problem on aosp, worth a try
Hey guys. Lock sounds are on. Still can't hear calls even when they connect and are picked up.
It worked when I cleared data for phone.apk but only for 2 calls and now it stopped working again..
Messages and internet work fine though.

Try re-flashing MIUI with a fresh install
Then it should work again. I'm using MIUI without a problem ( I know, I have to update my signature)
CyanogenModded Very China-like, from my Samsung Galaxy S III
LG Familyguy59/Beatsleigher
Had to reflash 3 times for it to work. Let's hope it doesn't die out on me again!

try enabling dialpad sounds too
Anyone else have weak vibration? I'm barely getting any feedback from the nav bar and haptic has to be around 70ms to feel anything.

inconsistant? does the vibration stop working or does its power vary?
I only noticed varying vibrations when I'm typing on the keyboard. I noticed that slow typing would vibrate softly but it gradually increases in intensity when you increase your typing speed. I just came to the conclusion that the intensity of the haptic feedback is determined by the speed of your typing.
I've had issues where the vibrator stops working and to get it working again I have to lay the phone flat on it's back or shake the phone a bit but the frequency that this occurs is quite random, sometimes it does it all the time and sometimes not at all otherwise the vibration on this is really quite good, noticeably stronger than my One X but also slightly noisier.

It does both. Sometimes it feels like it's almost not vibrating at all, others it "surges" to be pretty noticeable.
TheOnlyIntruder seems to have the same issue.
Just bumping. This seems to still be going on. If I get an app and test vibration it works, but otherwise it is hit and miss on if I'll feel vibration with the nav bar or keyboard

Oh ok. Funny how the vibration works when I tap the back bottom. After a while, it'll dissappear again.

No vibration for any notifications or when switching on/off.
Any tips for troubleshooting?

already had this problem when sleep mode wasn't *really* OFF. maybe you should check
Did check, not an issue. Have also tried rebooting, no luck. Diagnostics do not show any vibration activity.
