[Q] Circle Battery Mod for Deodexed XXALF6 ? - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've went through all of the threads on in the Mods & Themes sections and I can't seem to find one. Search didn't come up with anything either. Has anyone ran across one??
Thanks!!

all mods in here check the thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27583423&postcount=3

Yeah, the one in there hasn't been updated for the newest ROM yet.

he was obviously asking for this mod that would be compatible with the latest XXALF6.
:victory:

The current mod also works for Deodexed XXALF6.

Stock ICS Mods?

Hello, are there any mods that will work for stock ICS, rooted, zipaligned, etc? I wasn't sure if you could use just simple mods that work with specific ROMs or not.
Honestly all I'm looking for is a mod to get rid of the cross-hairs on the status bar and a battery percentage mod.

Best bet is to try the mods section to see if anything was released for the rom your running or put a request in there.

None was posted. From the looks of it, it's all developer ROMs and not the stock ICS ROM. I'll put a request in there, thanks.

1. This tutorial worked for CM9, might work for you. Just try it.
Here: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1523703&highlight=transparent
2. I read mixer theme already incorporated the function.
Here: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1017179
3. I found this tutorial for CM10. Some users in HTC one x and GALAXY SIII forums reported that it works for them too.
Here: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1835829
Edit: added some info after Sun90 pointed out some important info I initially missed.
Thanks Sun90

[Q] TouchWiz for JB 4.1.2 (LSJ)

I've searched a lot on this forum but couldn't find a modded Touchwiz for the leaked LSJ 4.1.2, all found are for ICS so they cannot be used.
I would like to remove the icon labels from the homescreen and from dock icons and reduce the number of screens from 7 to 3.
Does anyone have one already modded or can guide me to modify mine using apktool? (I also read on this forum that the smali file needs to be modified somehow).
Thank you!

Help needed regarding Jkay framework!

Hello, people
I had been using Jkay framework on my XXEMR2 from a very long time.
Now, I upgraded to Omega Rom, XXUFME7. Jkay isn't compatible. What can I do to make it compatible? I really have gone used to the Jkay mods.

Jkay will no longer develop his framework on the S3. Meaning any new firmware higher than 4.1.2 won't be supported anymore. So no there are no ways to make it compatible with the leak ME7 or any other 4.2.2 based firmware.
Is there any way where I could at least get the 'secure mode' lock screen toggle, and the AOKP lock screen on this? :/
Is it possible to edit the Jkay framework to make it compatible?

There maybe some mods to get that feature but apart from that there is no way to make it compatible anymore as it's coded to 4.1.2 and not 4.2.2 or higher. Either you downgrade to a 4.1.2 based firmware or buy an S4 (the I9505 variant) cause he's developing his framework on that device.
Can you please direct me to some mods that could give me that?

Search. This is not a spoon-feeding forum. Also I didn't guarantee that you will find the mod/feature you are searching for. I merely said that there is a possibility. I haven't tried the leak or any other custom rom based on it so I didn't bother searching for possible mods that mimics what Jkay's framework can do.

When I upgraded my Omega rom from build xxemg5 to ubemh2 i just renamed the build in the build.prop, rebooted to recovery, installed the framework and guess what? It worked!? so i guess it might be compatible with other builds too but I'm not sure about 4.2.2. Also I THINK it causes battery drain, but as I said I'm not sure about this one. Hope I could help

Editing the build prop of a 4.2.2 leaked firmware won't help. The framework is much more different than you think on 4.2.2. Also you didn't need to edit your build prop just to install the framework on UBEMH2 since ZaneZam already has a proper port for it.

The time I found out modifying the build prop will help there was no proper port for it yet and as I said i have no idea how it is on 4.2.2

[Q] Is it possible to theme a completely stock device to look like AOSP?

Hey guys,
I'd like to know if it is possible to theme my I9300 to get rid of TouchWiz styles and make it look more like straight up AOSP?
I've had a search through multiple threads and forums but cannot seem to get a definitive answer - most seem to mention 'Odexed / Deodexed' and some variance of LG..something or LH...something.
I have a completely stock ROM, using Philz recovery and is rooted, Xposed is installed (also Wanam module). Details are:
Baseband : I9300BUUGNB1
Build Number : J2215J.I9300XXUGNA5
I'd prefer to not have to flash a ROM as I want to keep the thing stock (stock camera, etc.)

That URL seems to be giving me a 404.
I think I know what theme that is, and yes I do like the look of that Domination v2.0.2 - though I could not figure out if I can flash it, or any requirements.
It mentions odexed / deodexed ROM but I'm not sure about stock ROM. Also there are a few different download files but it is not clear which I should use.

Thanks jeffrey, though I'm still none the wiser.
There is no working download link on that thread. I did manage to find a working link to his site elsewhere, but it listed 4 separate downloads all with the same date but different filenames - relating to something like LG8....LH something....LF something
I can't find anywhere on the thread that explains what these are and how/which to choose

That's quite alright,
First i googled for DOMINATION v2.0.2 and the second hit was Domination - Vertumus World - Google Sites
clicked it and landed on:
https://sites.google.com/site/vertu...ownloads/Themes/Ice-Cream-Sandwich-Domination
There is said Jelly Bean Domination Latest Version v2.0.2
SAMSUNG GALAXY S3
Clicked on Domination Theme (mirror 1)
Landed on:
http://dfiles.eu/folders/331IW1D4P
There were 3 versions of the theme V2.0, V2.0.1 and v2.0.2.
and V2.0.2 is the latesed version of the theme.
Why not just use UltimaROM?

Thanks for the efforts, I just tried to flash the ZIP archive and the device doesn't boot successfully. Looks like there is something not compatible.
