Honestly, I would say no. This phone now feels very out-dated even though it shouldn't and Sony seem to take their sweet time updating it. I would not recommend a Sony phone to anyone having experienced my X10 and now I feel stuck with it. It's average at best and there's far better, more open phones out there.

Yes, u can runn all oficee suite on the phone.

my advice to buy it if want handfull handset but if you want to install roms every day you have to buy htc or samsung .. i tried all companies belive me sonyericsson is the only one that you can use it with the orginal rom and last you should post this thread in Q&A section not in devlopment
Go for it. Has wireless tethering, 854x480 screen, decent battery, no issue with performance, reasonably good camera. Modding this phone has come a long way. Devs are working on cracking the bootloader and there's a group working on getting froyo on it. XDA has a good x10 community working on improving this phone.
The only downside is the screen doesn't display 16mil colors (there is color banding in some graphics/games/wallpapers), and no multitouch. MT is coming according to SE.
Go for it. It's a great phone and you will not realize it until you use it. ^_^

Yes you could read only for free or edit by buying the app, such as Office Suite, Docs to Go, Thinkfree, etc.
Yes you could use Adobe apps such Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Reader.

You could find it all in the market. Just use your market apps( your new best friend) and search for those apps. It's really simple. Try it. ^_^

Installing the Market is not an issue. You can always flash to global generic firmware.

Just root using z4root app and change your market region using market enabler.

Just uninstalled everything and rebooted and working fine now
Pro versions are paid app and this is not allowed in xda.
And yes, i know anyone of you posted a link but it is clear that you are doing warez here.
Please ask the mod to delete this thread or at least unuseful posts.
You guys join a developer site but think nothing of asking for warez? Incredible.

Try to search "line" available on Google play store. ..it is very similar but with it you are able to call on the net like viber or skype.

I didn't suggest to block phone contacts, I suggested to block WhatsApp contact(s) in the WhatsApp program self ..
It's easy, they can still call, SMS you, but not via WhatsApp.
Only keep those WhatsApp users unblocked who you want to keep, and join them in a WhatsApp group ..

UPDATE : Below attached is the official Google play release, had a friend of mine with a HOX back it up for me and sent me the apk, tried it and got a message that my phone isn't supported yet bla bla bla though i noticed that the app was perfectly sized so seems the MDPI isn't a concern anymore. haven't tried yet changing my device ID in build.prop ... if it would do any good due to lack of time so here it is if any1 wanna try , please report ur results

I tried it already facebook and messenger work as normal apps but the home doesn't :cyclops: :silly: need to be edited for our MDPI "320x480" screen resolution cuz it's limited to "1280x768"

My Timescape can't update after using this application. so maybe I will not use it.
I prefer to use Timescape than facebook katana.

I find this on xperia arc forum and manage to do it myself and it works pretty good on razr. This is a mod made for vignette camera app. By editing the apk we can have a camera like the one in htc one or sgx 4. U can find vignette camera in store and edit it. Here is the original link:

Let me clarify one thing- My thread wasn't closed because I shared illegal thing or posted paid app for free, but I saw some users started to sharing their app (they wanted just to help) to other members- this is not cool, so the admin deleted those comments and warned members to not make the thread as warez thread- I agree, and therefore I asked the admins to delete my thread so no one else be reported of warned .
there is nothing bad to try little tweak in app that you have bought for your personal testing - this is why the Jailbreak was accepted by the law in USA , every 1 has the right to use the full potential of the product they have bought.
all the thread was about the poll that some members can try this mod and vote if this should be considered in the next vignette update - and if so the app developer can only benefit from our help
