Finally i found this way to mount NTFS Drives as READ/WRITE
Requirement :
1.Stock ICS + Root access
2.Download : ntfs-3g or Newer ntfs-3g
3.Download great app by Chainfire : StickMount
How to :
Copy ntfs-3g to /system/bin/ with right permission via RootExplorer , etc.

when you flash any new sbf (which is exactly what an OTA does), you will lose root. You just have to use one of the methods and see if you can get root back.
Either I'm noobing something up, or there does seem to be some change to the root method needed as I had this working before.
Running photon-torpedo.sh still gives me that giant error message that successfully roots me so the hard part is done.
However, it seems like the install-su.sh is complaining:
mount: can't find /system in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab
plus a few other errors after that.
root is still open. i just rooted through adb and am typing this while tethered.
almost had a heart attack...now rooted again
Will I have to do the dock-less method again after updating, to use just an hdmi cord for webtop?

I am so sorry for the confusion, but updating the photon to 4.2.5 will i need to do this again http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1199443
Situation:
-I have a rooted device Samsung Galaxy Ace [GT-S5830L] Android 2.3.4
-I accidentally deleted with Titanium Backup my default browser [Internet 1.0 (1)]
-Therefore I installed Dolphin which is not that bad.
Problems:
-Now wherever I try to watch any youtube video I'm just able to see the loading circle without loading the video.
-I can't use the default browser.
-I lost the voice app to type.
I've tried without good results:
-Use my friends phone [exact same one I have] did a back up with Titanium Back up, copy the backup to my phone and tried to restore.
-I downloaded several [internet.apk] [browser.apk] for my phone and tried to install with Optimize toolbox and from manage applications.
Screen capture when I tried to open.

So for the file to be accepted by the phone you need to change the file so it has system access. That feature is built in on most root file explorers

I've consider getting a ROM but I need a functional ROM and I see a lot of them w/bugs on the camera, wifi, gps, ect... Is there any stable ROM that works over networkbands 900/1800?
Why not re-install your current rom (if you are happy with that) from sammobile via odin perhaps?

If you still have the zip file from your rom, you can copy the original files from it to your phone.
It should be in /system/app (copy both browser.apk and browser.odex). Make sure you put all the correct permissions (mine has all permisions for reading and owner permissions for writing).

You can not access your android system files by just connecting phone with USB cable.
You can run a FTP or SSH server on your phone and then connect your phone with a FTP or SFTP client. You can transfer files with phone.
I run sshdroid on my phone for ssh server and connect with winscp from my PC.

1. yes you can, it's an universal CM9 script and don't worry about version or your CM9
2. no, it's will not formating your external SDCard! it's only swapping your internal with SDCard
3. automatically.
4. it's will be inverted on explorer... so, your Internal Storage will be read on 16 GB and SDCard will be read on 4 GB
5. no, it moved to /sdcard!

Since we are moving vold.fstab to system/etc can't we just follow these steps below?
1.Make backup of original vold.fstab. Using root explorer or es file explorer make a copy of the vold.fstab in some other place and rename it to something else.
2.copy the modded vold.fstab (modded by itachilinux) to system/etc and set right permissions.
3.reboot phone
will try, on fxp216.
:fingers crossed:
Is this script working?
well here you guys go.....title kinda says it all. this enabled the translucent navbar/lockscreen/statusbar on google's android 4.4 ota...just push the framework-res.apk to /system/framework/ and you should be set..tested on my nexus 10
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23212708291677144
Just installed it and seems to work great, although its lagging a bit now (don't know if more so than before).
Thanks very much!
Ugh, I cannot seem to get this working. I've tried pushing it through adb while in recovery (I get no root access while it's on) but when I boot the framework-res.apk is not the one i pushed (file size doesn't match) and I also do not get transparent bars. I tried using ES File Explorer to push it, but then the whole tablet refused to boot afterwards and I had to restore nandroid. How did you push it?
Maybe i am dumb, but i get an access denied error when i attempt to push this to system/framework/. I tried moving it manually through root explorer and i got stuck in a wicked boot loop. do i somehow need to give my adb commands su privileges?
So anyone who did this can you explain how? With adb? Or root explorer?
