no not at all. cant get to recovery. and usb to computer says in device manager qusb_dload. I have no idea what that means

Can you get to bootloader by pressing power vol down?
If you can. hook your cable to phone and get it to fastboot usb mode then run the RUU file on your computor. This will unroot your phone. this is how i fixed my phone. I hope you get it fixed.

you can start by telling us exactly what you tried to flash..link?
what your seeing with the qusb is usually a indication is bricked.

Try
Try hooking the phone to the computer, after you do that open a command prompt and type. "adb reboot recovery" I hope you backed up, run the back up you should have, then you should be fine, i doubt your bricked.

Cant save my Prime

Flashed the Broccoli nightly rom I can no longer boot or get back into CWM. Computer cannot start the device. Can someone please help me? Tried all the tools and methods. It won't work unless I can get the device to start when connected to my computer.
RIght now when I press Vol Up and power, it brings me to cold boot linux. Cannot select anything or do anything. When connected to comp, it says device cannot start Code 10. Don't know what else to do. Help please
Looks like you're having an issue similar to mine. You'll need to setup ADB and push another rom to your Prime.
Can you get into recovery?

This thing is completely frozen no matter what. I can power off and on but that's about it. The device won't start according to windows. I'm praying I won't have to RMA or something.
You shouldn't be getting that screen pressing vol up and power.....that should be vol down and power, then doing nothing.

Hi,
where it says press down to change mode you should be able to highlight the middle icon. If so that is fastboot and you have a chance.
I had a very bricked Prime and it only got that far. Then I followed this post.
You must download the fastboot and adb from the links given. I had some from elsewhere and they didn't work so well.
Also, I am not an Android hacker and I think that the dd command is somehow dangerous. At the end of the day, on my machine, I'm back with AndroWook and latest Motley kernel
Best of luck.

Thanks let me try now. I hope it works. How did you get the computer to recognize the prime? Do I need to enable asus sync?

So when your device turns on its in a recovery loop right? You try to reboot and it goes right back to recovery?
It's ok don't worry, we will get it fixed. If that's what your problem is its referred to brick 1a in the unbrick your prime sticky thread.
We just need to setup ADB if you haven't already, and run one command. PM me if you need some help and ill try my best to get you through it or remotely connect to your computer to help you.
I highly suggest TWRP recovery after you get rebooted.

This is what I did while in CWM. Below is a copy of an insert from this thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24923189#post24923189
Anyhow, so after you have that version installed:
1. Download "ROOTED 9.4.2.21 CWM compatible signed US version"
d - h . s t / r 4 4 -> WITH NO SPACE! (This is from the Primeval: The STOCK stock rom) Thread.
2. EXTRACT IT to the same directory where your ADB is! We only need the BLOBFILE from that zip folder!
3. Once you have the files extracted just run the following on your Command line:
adb push blobfile /sdcard/ ---> Its going to look like its not doing
nothing but dont worry its doing it in the background after 401 or some
seconds the command line will returned to you with a message like this:
1275kb, dadadada...
4. VERY IMPORTANT!: enter:
adb shell
dd if=/sdcard/blobfile of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p4
(Same as the previews step it will take forever but it will work dude!)
5. DONE! at least this is what worked for me man!
Im so happy now my Asus is freaking Brand NEw again! i was JUST about to through this garbage away but im so happy "dklue" gave me the BLOB concept idea! heheheh i guess i learned something new now..
the thing is the computer is not picking it up i tried diffrent drivers and still nothing i try doing ADB Shell device not found in order to do some commands i have to have it mount and thats the problem what ever i do wont move nothing so basicly is still on CWM only reboot and back again to CWM
Hold power and vol down to boot into CWM. Then you can do the blobfile push. It worked for me

[Q] [DNA] Can't get to TWRP from Supercharged Hatka

So i finally got rooted and flashed the 2/13/2013 version of the Supercharged Hatka ROM to my DNA. But i can't get the Wifi to work and for some reason, I still can't do any commands from the prompt. I've tried to install the drivers multiple times and when I plug my phone into my computer, it says either "device drivers could not be installed" or "the usb device is not recognized." If I try to boot into bootloader and get to recovery from there, it flashed the "HTC Quietly Brilliant" screen and then just goes right back to the bootloader. If I try to get to the recovery from the long press power button>restart>recovery, it just reboots the system. I need to either fix this Wifi problem, or get back to my stock ROM and retry but I need to get to recovery. HELP

Same story here, except the only thing not working for me is WiFi. And of course, can't ask the devs in their thread due to low post count. Good luck friend, I may try the newest release before jumping ship. Damn shame though, I like the ROM.
If WiFi is not working that means that you didn't flash the boot.img for the kernel.

Okay, but I can't do any other work on the phone because my computer says that the USB device is not recognized. It sometimes says that it is working like normal and I can reach the root and everything but then it will just cut out and say that it isn't recognized.
I couldn't quite tell what all your problems are, but it sounded like you are having trouble getting fastboot to work on your current rom, so you can't flash the kernel to get wifi to work.
If you are still s-on, and can't get fastboot to work so you can flash the kernel, you can buy the app ($1?) "Flash gui" which will let you flash the kernel while booted into the rom. You can also use flash gui to reflash cwr or twrp recovery.
Obviously, the better option is to get your driver situation resolved so you can not only flash the kernel, but also get s-off

I can get to fastboot and "fastboot USB" comes up when i plug into my computer. The problem is, my computer says that the "USB Device is not recognized." If i go to my computer, my phone's storage isn't there. My phone charges when plugged into the computer but it doesn't not seem to want to recognize it. Recently, I got it to recognize for a good period of time, enough for me to start to relock my bootloader and unroot, but when I went to enter the "fastboot oem lock" command, it just says "waiting for device" and it never does anything.

1 word my friend,"FUBAR"!!You need insurance for things like that.Next time something like that happens, remove the battery and shake the excess water from the phone, then immediately blow dry it for about 1 minute, then drop it in a bag of rice for a day,it will soak up all the moisture in the phone.

Adb stands for Android debug bridge. It comes with SDK Manager. Download SDK Manager and type in adb reboot recovery in cmd. That will get you to recovery mode on your phone. You might have to go to the sd card folder on the computer and right click while holding shift and click "open command window here".
Here's a good overview on adb and how to set it up.
It REALLY helps during boot loops because you can replace system files or get into recovery or do other things if you are rooted with just a few commands.

Did you have android debugging enabled before this happened? If your computer can't install the drivers and you can't see it in the list of devices after adb then you may have not had android usb debugging enabled under development options.

HTC Evo LTE hard bricked

Alright so my issue is I flashed an ics rom on my evo LTE but accidentally with the wrong firmware. When the update was just about done, the screen went black. No charge light when plugged into a charger and the device will not power on, or do anything(tried button combinations). However when I plug it into my computer, device manager sees my phone as “My HTC”. So it seems to have a connection but it doesn’t do anything to the phone. Fix possibly?
Sorry for asking such a basic question guys. New to the forums but definitely not new to flashing roms. This problem just confuses me to death.
Can you supply as much info as possible.
QUOTE=bigdaddy619;45718286]Can you supply as much info as possible.[/QUOTE]
Yes I can my friend. Of course, I got S-OFF with moonshine. Never had a problem there. Rooted also with moonshine as well. Flashed a lot of different jelly bean roms (CM, Meanbean) to see which one best suited me. Well after awhile I decided to give one of the ics roms a shot but the firmware version on my evo was for jelly bean only, not ice cream sandwich. Just as the flash of the ics rom was about finished, the screen went black. (Battery was above 50%). I tried every button combination, but nothing worked. Tried connecting it to a charger and the orange charge light wouldn't even come on. I even left it on the charger overnight, but no dice. So the phone is totally unresponsive to everything. One thing I did notice however is that when I tried connecting the phone to the computer, my computer makes the connection noise when it finds a
Usb device. Checked my device manager on windows and my phone shows up as "My HTC". So it seems as my computer has some type of connection to the phone. With that being said, would there be some way to use some unbricking software or any other way to unbrick my phone? (From what I see, I think the bootloader may be corrupted)
Since you can hear USB connection, I wonder if running fastboot devices from CMD would yield any results. Though I suspect you'd probably have to be booted to fastboot USB to see.

Thank you much sir. Here's what I found out. When I type the command "adb devices", nothing shows up. When I type in "fastboot devices" here is what it says:C:\Users\lisa\Desktop>fastboot devices
C:\Users\lisa\Desktop>fastboot devices
t♥☻ fastboot
guessing that's not a serial number, as it should be, but it recognizes my device as a fastboot device. Is there any hope of fixing this paperweight?
ADB commands only work when the phone is booted to the ROM, whereas Fastboot commands only work in the bootloader when connected via Fastboot USB mode.
Can you get to the bootloader at all?

The only way I can get to the bootloader is by using the command prompt. Otherwise, my phone remains inoperable.
What happens when you select the recovery option in the bootloader?
Meaning that fastboot shows my device is connected but I cant access it on my phone.

Bricked Phone Stuck in Fastboot
My phone is bricked and I can only get to fastboot usb. I also lost TWRP, trying to run RUU for radio. Current radio is 1.12.11.1210 and looks like there is not a full RUU for this. SD Card also bad, so couldn't get my Backup. Is there a way that I can sideload or push TWRP to the phone? I want to re-flash a custom ROM in hopes that this will fix issue. I have flashed CM 10 in past, so I figure all I need to do is put CM on sd card and then I can flash from there.

I do not know if this would work or even the steps, but you can download the stock firmware from here: www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hp_left_v4_sib?ie=UTF8&nodeId=201596860
Also the ????????????? Besides your device from "adb devices" just means you need to install the driver for it. That should not be too hard to find out how to do. But really I think you'd need the fastboot drivers more. But in the past I have fixed a bootloop by just looking at the logs to figure out where the crash is coming from via adb logcat, then fixing that issue. But since this is using xposed it'd probably be too complicated to fix manually. Don't ask me for drivers tho cause I use Linux.
Note: the firmware update downloads as a bin file but it is just a zip file. A fastboot update might actually work with it since it is signed by Amazon.
Something like:
Wipe your device. (only if necessary)
fastboot -w
Update your ROM.
fastboot update

I've gotten into fastboot on this device. I think it was either "adb reboot bootloader" or "adb reboot fastboot" that works. Keep in mind when in fastboot mode the fire hd6 screen is completely blank.
