Which actually works?
Hope it works, no call recording is one of the many issues I have with my Xperia U, feels like such a downgrade from my SE Elm.

It really work on free and paid version. It not working on some custom kernel but in stock kernel it working very well. If you are using custom kernel, maybe you are change source voice in Setting

Yes, i did a month ago. Needed to record a conversation and it was the first thing that came up on a google search. Works fine on Xperia U

Maybe you should change source voice to Volume Up Link to this, and remember do not uncheck Notification, uncheck this Option maybe make this not working

Since this is my first post on XDA and I can't start a new thread under the development section, I'm sharing the fix here in case anyone is interested in flashing Nexus4 MIUIv7 rom on their AT&T LG Optimus G (E970) or converted N4-Geeb with Ext SD, NFC, & Capacitive Buttons working. If you believe this thread should be under the development or any other section and you have the authority to do so, please move it accordingly. Your highness and kindness will be greatly appreciated.
First thing first, I am neither a developer nor a programmer. I just used previous fixes as reference and starting points to create the fix. So, ***Please proceed at your own risk. I, Sp1k3ster, shall not be held liable or responsible for any damage done to your device during the process outlined below.***
Requirements:
1. AT&T LG Optimus G (E970) or Converted N4-Geeb (Rooted with unlocked bootloader)
2. Custom CWM or TWRP recovery installed
Flashing Instructions:
1. Wipe data/factory reset ***(Make sure you backup everything in case you need to revert to the previous rom)***
2. Flash Hybrid modem by morrislee ***(Optional but required for T-mobile users)***
3. Flash Nexus4 MIUIv7 rom (Download here: Official MIUI site or XDA thread & follow the installation instructions given there)***Warning: Flashing MIUI rom will overwrite your current recovery image with CWM, please delete the recovery.img file in system/etc/ before flashing to avoid replacement***
4. Flash AT&T LG Optimus G (E970) or Converted N4-Geeb fix
5. Wipe cache & dalvik cache
6. Reboot ***(Be patient, may take 2-5 minutes to bypass the MIUI logo screen)***
7. Complete the initial setup
8. Reboot again
9. Everything (Ext SD, NFC, & Capacitive buttons) should be working.
If any question(s), concern(s), or problem(s), please let me know. I'll try my best to answer it.

Please follow the flashing requirements & instructions given in the 1st post. Phrases such as 'Hybrid modem', 'Official MIUI site', 'XDA thread', 'AT&T LG Optimus (E970)', & 'Converted N4-Geeb' are hyperlinks. It's a custom modem that retains LTE from older modems/radios and combines new features from newer modems/radios since LTE is disabled in newer modems. Here is a link (http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/general/ref-mako-modem-collection-t2087227) if you would like to read more about it.

Did you apply the correct fix or Did you update the rom to a newer version of MIUI from 5.7.10 to 5.7.17?
I installed in different ways but I always get stuck at the logo, do not know why. I have version 5.7.10.

Hm...that's weird...I tested both of the fixes on both versions of the phone before posting. In fact, I even restored my 'Converted N4-Geeb' back to stock E970 to make sure the E970 fix works. Just to make sure, I test again on my 'Converted N4-Geeb' and it booted fine to the initial setup. It took about 2 minutes and 5 seconds to bypass the MIUI logo screen. Here's what I did:
1. Wipe data/factory reset
2. Flashed Miui Rom
3. Flashed the appropriate fix (I flashed Converted N4-Geeb fix, since I have the Converted N4-Geeb)
4. Wiped cache & dalvik cache
5. Rebooted the device (Took about 2 minutes to bypass the MIUI logo & get to the initial setup)
6. Rebooted the device again after the initial setup
Let me know which version of the phone do you guys have: the Converted Nexus4-Geeb or the Original AT&T LG Optimus G (E970)?

Since both of you have the AT&T Optimus G E970, you have to flash the fix right after you flash the rom. Try the steps I posted in my previous reply and let me know if it works or not. Also, who is your carrier? AT&T? did you guys flash the hybrid modem too or no?

I did that and I did not work, try flashing the hybrid modem but neither worked out. My carrier is Movistar.

OK, just out of curiosity, please flash the MIUI rom only and reboot. Let me know if it goes beyond the MIUI logo screen or not.

No. But it's forced encrypted.
And I have to access the phone via "TA-1000" device that appears in the my computer. Like in the early Nokia Symbian phones.
