Hi guys,
Is there anyway of getting into trebuchet settings yet? Or at least a cmd or something to change number of screens etc.
I would use apex however the icons fail toalign correctly in120dpi. This is really annoying!!
Thanks in advance for the advice,
Dan
I can change the launcher options for Trebuchet in the Nightly CM9 through Launcher under Settings.
that setting disappears if you flash the 120dpi patch
Figured out a work around though!

Please share! lol... I installed Apex since I thought I had no other choice.
I think the settings option is in the app drawer at the top right. The three vertical dots.
On the 3 dot menu from the app drawer there is Apex settings if you have that as your launcher, but when you use Trebuchet it is not there, only the 'Shop' link.
I worked around that by going back to 160dpi and set trebuchet as default, then the option showed up in Settings > Launcher. When I went back to 120dpi the option was gone, but it kept my settings.

Is it possible to access the Personalize menu from another launcher somehow? Going to Menu -> Settings -> Personalize does nothing at all from inside ADW... and it's the only way to customize the lock screen and whatnot... I can uninstall ADW, go back to Sense and it works, but I don't use Sense... and it would be nice if I could just hit a button or whatever and get there without having to change my home launcher...
OK this may or may not work. I know if you are in sense as the launcher, you can open adw with the app shortcut in the drawer, so, in adw can you just make a shortcut to sense, and click that?

Thanks for the suggestion, but Sense doesn't show up in in the list when trying to add a shortcut or any widget or anything.

lol it wouldn't be that easy. I was more hoping you could find the intent in the launcher action/system function list...
My workaround is to go into applications and clear defaults on whatever launcher im using and press home and switch to sense and then personalize what i need and go back and reset my alternative launcher to default. Kind of a pain but it works. Wish i had a quick shortcut to suggest.
Ok, so.. ADW Launcher EX updated on me and my settings are all weird now and I can't find out where I remove the Main Dock background? There was an option to hide it, but it is not there.

The docks were combined into one. There is no more main and hidden. Set the hidden dock bar to transparent and that will do what you want
Where are the settings for the hidden dock bar? I only see settings for Main Dock Bar.

There isn't one. I can't find it either so I went back to my old version.
Geez! This is driving me nuts.
Is free ADW the same way? I was hoping to get more out of buying EX, not lose things.
Is this the best place for answers on ADW? Is the developer around here?
ADW settings, themes, main dock, none.
they removed it.
the only around it is go to
general behavior
gestures
swipe down actions (down or up)
select hide dockbar.
I want to use the stock ICS icons in the nova launcher, does anyone know how to do this?
So when you add an app to your dock or one of the homescreens, a different icon pops up?
Do you have any icon packs installed?
same here please

Download an ADW ICS Theme. This one from KovDev works perfectly. Long press the icon, tap edit, click on the image, select Image File, then select ADW Icons or something like that. Then you'll have the choice of using that ICS icon from there. Works perfectly.
EDIT: You can use any ADW theme this way (at least individual icons) in Nova Launcher. I do it all the time, so I know it works.
EDIT 2: This will only be for individual icons on the homescreen, not in the app drawer.
If you download the icons, you press and hold the app with the icon you want to change, select edit, then click on the icon. From here it will give you an option to pick from the gallery or file browser, just pick the icon file and you're good to go.

Thanks guys worked perfectly. i feel so dumb now.
It would be nice to be able to change multiple icons with a pack, much like launcher pro. :-/
When I restored my nova settings all was good except for the app drawer icon. The acon is a green android with a white box. How do i change it to default?
weird it happened but just found a stock app drawer icon and edited it myself.
Perhaps Respected Mam/Sir,
This is to inform you that I will surely help you with this!
Now every Launcher has an Launcher Settings so you have to get into it (Mostly you are supposed to press and hold anywhere on the screen)
So assuming you got into the settings now you have to find an option about Get Icons From another launcher(or something else similar to this). So now select your default Launcher which was there when you bought your mobile.
Note- This will change your icons as it were during the Stock Launcher rest all Launcher Looks will remain the same.

I have my evo 3D running ICS stock+rooted. I've tried several launcher and can't seem to get scrolling wallpapers to work. I've turned on the settings for it in the launcher prefs, but no go. Has anyone else gotten this to work with Sense 3.6/ICS.
Thanks
Mark
Have you tried apex launcher? That has multi scrolling wallpaper. It also has options to disable and enable it on home screen menu. Please do not say it don't work because I use this launcher daily.
sense
Try another launcher, or install custom rom with sense 4
