Try QQ Launcher or Agile lock. Both free in market. QQ includes a home replacement at well, but can be made to only use the lockscreen.

How do you make it lockscreen only, unless you mean setting something like go launcher as default but turning on qq launcher when the phone is turned on.

If you want to your the swype method, there is a you tube video showing how to do it, but it is basically dragging the edge of your hand across the screen as if you were using the edge of your hand like a handheld document scanner.
Thanks guys... I'm preety new to SG3 i use to have skyrocket..

Any cool DNA tricks to share?

so does anyone have any cool little DNA tricks that they found out? I just realized that you can pinch to zoom in the battery info graph built into sense now... so you can expand and see each hour or shorten it to get your full day view. pretty neat!

I just found out (most everyone probably already knows) that you can pinch the homescreen to show all of them.

Me neither. Neat feature.
I have to say that I really am enjoying this latest version of Sense. It's a LOT less intrusive than past versions, and doesnt seem to have any major impacts on battery life.
It's like they took out all the crappy nonsense no one liked, allowed android to shine through where its better, and kept only the useful features of Sense. I like it.

For apps with long lists of items like music or messaging, you can scroll through by letter or date by using two fingers at once.
On the call screen before making a call. Press menu and you can open a fullscreen keypad for dialing
I know most probably know this but:
Once you fill up all 5 screens you can attempt to add another app or widget and it will populate a new blank screen for you. Also if you pinch to zoom at one of the home screens, it will give you an option at the top to add a panel (screen).

Multi-touch support!!

Is there any kernel that supports more than 2 fingers on the screen? I am used to the rezound and its 4 finger multi-touch especially for gaming; so help please.
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using xda app-developers app
yup was drving me crazy go to settings, screen and gestures, and uncheck HTC gestures. My DNA now sees at least ten fingers.
Well I'm using viper Rom so it doesn't have gestures and I know multi-touch is a kernel based option. I remember on my droid incredible it only had 2 finger touch until I used one of Lou's kernels.
