Support input movies up to 1920*1080p and render movie at 848*480 pixel , 720p and 1080p(quite slow considering that's a smartphone)

Hmmm photoshop touch + this one is great!
this is not working properly on my phone it can't play the edited music in the preview play, i can't find an option to save the created movie either and when i exit and then go back, my project is gone
Seems to work for me. I just stuck a couple of videos and a picture in and then exported it but it worked great doing that.
with pics it works for me as well... but how the heck can you add multiple pics? :O i mean adding them one by one is just stupid?! :S

I found an apk that works, but it keeps crashing with 1080p videos. Does anyone have an apk of this that works?

JB has own movie studio, in next hours I will check if it's the same version, but if it's a new version, this will work only in Jb( 90% of probability)

I've also saw that not all 1080p are compatible , also the 1080p videos of Xperia s( you can see if the rendering will work fine in the timeline, if there are "x" in the frame boxes the rendering will not be done)

I installed the the Floyo rom and my mini pro, and while it works great, both of the camera apps included didn't work for me. No biggie, i bought vignette to take pictures, but i can't seem to be able to find a camcorder app... anyone have any ideas?

hmmm... video cam illusion is cool, but only records at 320x240... would be nice to find something that did VGA...
Also tried Angel VideoCam, and it doesn't seem to be recording sound, plus it also seems to not do VGA
well, the new Floyo update fixed the camera, but now it turns out that MIUI doesn't do macro mode >_<

Make sure you have the latest version. Its completely supported now.
the latest version now is 1.0.6 but still messing up with some photos outside camera folder.

I am having the same oroblem i guess tge problem is wid the pixels.. I tried uploading a pic from my friends hacing a 2mp camera and it came all fine.. Whenevr i upload a downloaded pic it scrambles which is quite irritating

It works perfectly on mine, I just edit photos using photoshake and every photo is perfect when uploaded.
I was having the same buggy reported above.
What I did notice is that it was happening when I´m on GO LAUNCHER EX.
Using Samsung Home launcher it works perfectly. What the hell?

I didn't notice that.
The file size or the file location seems irrelevant i think [or at least thats what i experienced...] however i am interested in finding out whether using default touchwiz does really prevent image scrambling... but then again launching instagram and using photos from gallery produces glitches at random. i hope they finally fix this, i'm not dying for instagram but i love manipulating photos for the fun of it.
I dnt think its bcoz of the stock launcher or golauncher ex....its bcoz of the megapixels maybe....I tried copying the pics into the camera folder but dsnt work........moreovr the pic not only appear scrambled.....smetimes the base is black too...do notice it

exactly my point, because i've had images scambled whether i take a photo, get it from the camera folder, get it from another folder, from another transferred to the camera folder. i actually ran a battery of tests trying to troubleshoot this like using a same image resized to multiple resolutions [therefore having different filesizes] placed on different locations and it will turn out scrambled at random situations...
Recently, when i open a youtube link in dolphin browser, the video doesnt play and get this message in this photo.

I've been having that same problem. I didn't think much of it until now. But when I was in Google Play the other day, and I clicked on the videos for apps, I got the same error message. I thought it was just because of the ROM (epinter's CM10) I was using.
Bizarre, it doesn't work for me either on rooted stock UK orange 2.3.4 with Dolphin HD or stock browser...
I wonder what's going on? Has anyone got another device to see if it's a google problem?
I tried this on my friend's samsung galaxy mini unrooted and worked perfectly :S.

Well, when i was trying other browser, the opera browser opens youtube app automatically when clicking the video.
I think this will be a temp. solution for now.

I found the problem causing this, apparently mobile site of youtube is working in html5 format and left flash.
Ninesky browser is the browser that support html5 and opened youtube video just fine
Hey everyone, I am trying to modify youtube app to fix HQ video playback, as I've observed that MX video player can play all videos below 700p, I've posted the results HERE with details. I want to know that if we disable hardware accelaration in youtube.apk, then will it use s/w decoding only ?
Here is what I tried-
1.Decompile the youtube.apk using apktool
2.Opened androidmanifest.xml using notepad++
3.Started looking for something interesting
4.I found the android:hardwareAccelerated="true" in line number 22 (Refer the snap attached)
5.I changed the "true" to "false" and then tried compiling youtube.apk but it resulted in a lot of errors which I didn't understood
-- Please try this and see if you could compile back the youtube.apk..
-- Tell me if modding the youtube.apk is useless ?

I appreciate your effort.. logically your idea should work but dont know if it will.
First you need to sign the apk.
My guess is.. you changed the value to false but that doesnt mean.. it wil take S/W decoding as default. You might need to add lines to enable S/W decoding as default plus MX's path.. where it can find the player and s/w decoding!!
By "hardwareAccelerated=true", it just means that the app UI gets rendered by Hardware.. It doesnt mean HW or SW Decoding...
Sorry but this isnt gonna work..

I think we need to set MX player as default for all the video playbacks.. even streamed ones in the Rom not the Yt app!!
I'm trying to use the new video feature on instagram. I'm able to view others videos but when I try to record a video it doesn't save my progress. It starts over and shows this message.

To verify that its not a rom issue I wiped and reflashed Black Jelly Beta...I also wiped and flashed Alpha and Padawan JB 2. I get the same results with all three.
I'm not sure if its a app issue or a problem with my phone. If anyone has any advice, I'd really apreciate it.

No I have not been able to record video since they added the feature. I sent an email to instagram support but haven't heard anything. Surprise...surprise...

+1 to the list, getting same issue. If I run instagram on a non touchwiz rom and try to use the camera, the phone freezes. Finally able to get it up and running on a TouchWiz rom with camera working, but video issue is the same for me (won't let post, seems to record but then starts over asking to record up to a certain point)
I've had exact issue and it still hasn't been addressed almost a week later....

Sucks that this issue still hasn't been fixed by instagram. Read reviews from play store and every single Note 1 user cannot use video feature. I bet if all these people would only rate only 1 star it would be addressed and fixed.
