Welcome to Classicnerd's addition of the JewelTeam Includes
TommyTomatoe (lead Dev and AOSP guru)
Leoisright (Developer, AOSP dev, some websupport)
MiSfit (Kernel Dev, Porting skills)
MindSplit (graffix guru and website dev)
TMartin (Porting guru)
Chubbzlou01 (porting guru)
ewalk (touchpad dev)
After much thought, it was decided to go ahead and release our interpretation of the Jewel. This is based strickly on the RUU so many thanks goes out to Football and crew for being such an awesome force at bringing about every RUU known to us. There aren't enough thanks on his profile so it's urged heavily to seek him out and thank him for all he's done.
Usually we start off with v0.0.1 but since a few people (mainly ewalk) have been testing this build for us, we've already jumped up to v0.0.4. that's how we roll.
First boot will take a little bit so be patient.

What Needs Attention
Things to do:
* Fidelity sound will be added in next update
Please don't ask for Updates. We get to things when we get to them. Everyone on this team is married (except one and you know who you are...lol) and we have families that come first, work second, hobbies and life third. But the good part is, this is a hobby So it's pretty high on the list. Also, Don't ask to slim down the ROM cause that aint happenin. If you want to remove stuff, please review the rom before you flash and delete unwanted apps from system/app and data/app. Then you won't bug us or the thread about too much stuff. These phones have plenty of memory and we are gonna push it to the limit.
Also, we shall be adding our AOSP source found HERE. So for those that are github educated, feel free to sync up and start building. Currently it supports the HP Touchpad, Evo 3D, and OG Evo also somewhat working for the Kindle Fire.
Donations: Well, we won't say no for sure. It will help us drink lots of coffee, Mountain Dew, and throw some cash to our wives so we can keep our hobbies alive (hint hint, less the wives are mad and out doing things, the more we get done). But donations aren't necessary. A simple hit of the Thanks button is a prefect way to show your appreciation.
Credit: Man, there are so man. Donators (you guys rock) Ewalk comes to mind, hehe...thanks bro. Myn, Virus, Joelz, Cyanogenmod, Evervolv, OMJ, tommytomatoe, misfit, mindsplit, tmartin, chubbzlou, outerdepth, Justin, platty, sac, preludedrew, aamikam, vin, Freeza, one_love, flex, the team, XDA, evolutionmod, wives, family, the mods, the themers, and everyone who responds in a positive way and respects everyone in here.
Thanks and enjoy!

Big thanks to Paul @ modaco and the XDA community.
This is a Desire (2.1 with Sense) for Nexus ROM. It is what I call barebones since I have removed most of HTC's bloat, ie Sense UI & Widgets. Why bother with the ROM then? Well, there are A few reasons I like the Desire ROM. A few being the copy/paste functionality, browser & social integration. It's a fast ROM with tons of RAM & memory to install apps. I hope you enjoy this ROM as much as I do.
Wipe data, cache & dalvik before flashing.

lol Agreed
lols the reason he posted this early is because he wanted to hype himself up.
Hypeing something like this is a total drizzy / king move. And we all know how "great" those roms were. Trust me this rom won't blow you away.
And he wanted to hype everyone else up... I've always liked evil's hero roms for the mytouch. Can't wait to see what's in store. I bet it's gonna be off of froyo.

Actually, eViL's roms were always awesome on the MyTouch. One of the few devs we had before everybody started making them compatible on the G1 and MyTouch. You can't compare him to King. . . well. . . you can, but it wouldn't be a decent comparison as eViL puts out original products.
Wow, you guys are impatient. With people like this, it's a wonder why XDA exists.

I don't think we're impatient, we're just confused why you made a thread with nothing in it. You could have just waited until everything was ready to go to post the thread. It's not like there are only a limited amount of them available and they are going to run out...
I probably won't flash this rom, but at the very least, I found out that there is a battery percentage mod for desire roms. For this, I thank you.

OT: You still a mod at DM?
I dont get people some times, give the guy a chance. Its not like you all have a bazillion roms to choose from and its cluttering up the pages of roms you're trying to choose from. I for one am glad another person has decided to try his hand at a nexus rom and if you would like to see more of them I would suggest a little more courtesy to the people that bring them to you.
*NO LONGER BEING UPDATED!!!!*
I will begin working on a ROM for the T-mobile Galaxy Note II if any of you want to follow me.
This is our first ROM!
CypherROM has been optimized and themed to give you an experience on your view that you've never had before
If you like my work, please hit the "Donate to me" Button above my avatar!
Huge thanks to jay4255 for teaching me how to use the kitchen and customize, to Dsixda for his awesome ROM kitchen, to Globatron for S-off, to Unixdood for help with testing building our kernel and teaming up with me on this project, scabes24 and Joshua for graphics and theme support, to Contradude and ACS for the amazing ROMs they've had for the view that inspired me to build CypherROM, to Kevinrocksman for bootanimations, the multitool, hosting my files, and a million other things, to E.T. Heil who hosts the IRC channel for us and built the Bootanimation, to HTCFlyerX for helping me learn more about xml, the Sony Bravia Engine, and to everyone here on XDA that has helped me learn all that I have on multiple devices over the last 2 years.
DISCLAIMER: I am not responsible if you brick your device.
Features:
-Based off of OTA_Express_HC_S_Sprint_WWE_2.23.651.1-1.22.651.2_release_2310617n25jzbh791c6frl.zip
-Rooted
-Busybox
-Deodexed
-Zipaligned on boot
-Bash shell & nano installed
-Sysro/sysrw scripts
-init.d support
-Custom Bootanimation
-HTC black Downanimation
-Both 3G/4G and WiFi Only Versions
-Custom Wallpaper on boot
-Fully functioning HW Keys
Changelog in post #2.
Known Issues:
-You MUST flash CypherROM 1.0 before flashing 1.1 or you will bootloop. There is a known issue with a couple files causing bootloops (I'm pretty sure it's the kernel because when I tested 1.1 without jmztaylor's kernel I had ZERO issues.)
-If you are going to flash the theme on the WiFi only version, you must first flash the ROM, then reboot into recovery and wipe cache and dalvik cache then flash the theme or you will bootloop.

Whoever flashes this, please hit the thanks and/or donate buttons, and please post your results in the thread so as to allow us to all benefit from the info. Thanks!
MODS:
see THIS for Advanced Power Menu and Extended Quick Settings MODs confirmed working on CypherROM!
Once you DL the file, simply place it on the root of your SD card and flash it from recovery, and enjoy. Be sure to thank J4n87 for his hard work on this!
WARNING : If you live in a WiMAX area and use 4G this mod will cause some issues i.e. 4G remains toggled after you enable it and can't be disabled (I had this issue, doesn't mean everyone will.) YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
Installation instructions:
1. Go to recovery (After running kevin's tool or copy it manually to the sdcard)
2. do a data/factory reset
3. Go to mounts and storage and format /system
4. Go to advanced and wipe dalvik-cache
5. Wipe cache partition
6. flash the rom
7. flash the theme

Yeah i'm overhauling this right now. I'm going to take down the DL for a bit til I figure something out. I did test BT with my stereo bt headset and it worked perfectly, as well as pretty much everything else, so I don't know what went wrong that borked WiFi and WiMax. I'll keep poking now that I'm off work.
EDIT: Overhaul complete. Link is back up!

I will be. Just trying to finish up on porting the rest of Sony in to it. So far working is Sony WalkMan, Bravia, Xloud, infinity music (lyrics, kareoke, and more searches), almost got the playstation apps working. Full Sony Media including SRS music controls. Oh, still with Beats audio thru out.
Been pretty fun. Give it a little time and this will get migrated over to the Dev thread. ewalk was getting the word out that a full media device is on its way.

Yeah, its Xloud, but its a lot more intricate then just a few add ons. Decided to go with the Sony walkman music player along with Xloud, Bravia, and SRS sound processing. Xperia seemed to pack a punch when all put together. Along with full infinity search engine for lyrics, Wikipedia, YouTube karaoke, album art, and more extentions. Just one more thing left to iron out then we can start a dev thread.
It was nice to see Beats working thru any music system you put on here. But should be a fun system for people to enjoy. Seems like most of the roms out now are very similar. And that's not a bad thing, just felt it would be fun to have a few extras added. Also hoping to get the PlayStation thing all figured out. The apps work fine, its the ps store giving me trouble. Probably in the build.prop to fix. Seems like it will be a PSP all said and done which I'm eager to try and connect to my ps3 and see what's up.

Very Nice! It is like no other.
My initial reaction to this ROM was very positive. I personally love the changes that HTC made to sense and would like to make a Sense based ROM my daily driver.
Thank you for not ruining it with a tacky, god awful theme. I hate to say it, but too many tacky themes out there.
I'm anxious to see the overall battery life and can't wait for you to implement the media functions. This is going to be a neat little ROM.
THANK YOU for making the right hardware button functional in a relevant way. Long pressing the home button is sufficient enough to clear apps.
Performance seems on par with the stock ROM after comparing a few benchmarks. Scrolling, however, didn't seem as fluid.
I can't wait for the next build. This is coming from a diehard AOSP fanatic since the Dream days.

3rd Dimension Anorexia
Introducing 3rd Dimension Anorexia, brought to you by SOSA Developers
What is this?
It is Slim ICS inspired (no it is not a direct port of slim ICS) for the E3D. With this ROM, you can either starve your phone (keep it stock) or feed it (download apps), you are in complete control! This is not meant to be some tweaked out rom with a bagillion apps that you probably wont use, in this case, we want to give you the most freedom you have ever had with your phone, and not let the ROM hog up your space!
v2.5.1
(I think) Fixed Voice Search
Added Kernel tuner (creds to pedja1)

Wifi (If it wont start for you, restart the phone, I did this)
3G (Tweaks Make it better, personal testimony)
4G (Dont own it, but It turns on and scans, turns off without rebooting)
Bluetooth (Turns on)
Theme Manager (Downloaded JB theme and applied, then restarted to be sure)
MMS Sending and Recieving (Wifi must BE OFF to RECIEVE MMS)
Camera (Photo/Video) (No Reboot required before/after either)
Calls/Texts
Lockscreen Mods (FaceUnlock Force Closes! I KNOW THIS, PLEASE DONT SAY trebuchet is the stock launcher by request
Everything else works!
PLEASE DO NOT ASK ABOUT THE FOLLOWING!!!
3D - IT SHOULD BE A GIVEN BY NOW THAT IT DOESNT WORK!
ANY BUG IN DEVIL TOAST 0.7.4 CM9. unless what I did fixed it by coincidence, it is still broken!
So, with all of that said, if you have not done a clean install (no dirty installs) and you have done the following:
Taken the ENTIRE FIRMWARE ICS update
Are S-ON
Then no bug reports from you please... Thank you...

What makes it so great?
-More space!
On average, you get about 1 to 1.01 GB (aka, 1 GB plus 10 extra MB max) with an AOSP Rom after you install the Rom+Gapps
With this, after installing the entire ROM (Gapps Included, explaination below) you have 1.07 GB (1 GB plus 70 MB) free to do with it what you please! 60 MB of additional user space!!!!!
-It's Slim, so it's faster, less processes in the background, and better battery life
-You (the user) get the ultimate control over what you put in your phone, more data for applications
-So many more benefits I cannot begin to describe
-Stock OC'd to 1.5 GHz (can be changed in the settings menu)
What doesn't work?
-Face Unlock option not available YET (minor bug, test to see if it works for you though)
-You tell me, runs fine on my end
-edit: 3D DOES NOT WORK lol (boot animation should though, so this statement isnt 100% true)
The Specs:
Wifi - Works
3G - Works
4G - IDK I dont have that
Bluetooth - Works
GPS - Works
Multitouch - Works
Calls/Texts - Works
Every App available on the phone as is - Works
Power Menu - Works
Superuser - Works
Camera (Main and FFC) - Works

Starve your Evo 3D with this!
Why did I include GAPPS cooked in?
This isn't a CM Style spinoff or anything, it's meant to be Stock 4.0.4 in every way with a couple of perks, so I cooked them in, to save the time and download space!

so I did a totally clean install, wiped everything like 3 times because of coming from a sense rom. Love everything so far but I have noticed so far that voice search fc's when you try to use it at all. I did fix permissions to see if that would do anything and it didn't

That's actually a known bug in the base for this Rom. Unfortunately unless the OP knows how to fix that himself then it'll remain an issue because Agrabren (The dev of the base) stopped development for ics to focus on JB.

Welcome to the first release of AOSP+
AOSP+ is a collaboration ROM from myself and Lloir. Lloir enjoys using pure vanilla AOSP whereas I have always enjoyed the features from CM or AOKP. After trying out AOSP I was impressed with its speed and smoothness and found I actually only missed a few small things from those other ROMs so decided to port over just those features. The result: AOSP+
For all the changes over AOSP, see the second post.
All code that is not built directly from the google repositories can be found on github here https://github.com/AospPlus/
Other apps included in the ROM:
Superuser by Koush
LockClock from CM - much as Lloir hates it, i quite like it so it's gone in
Torch from CM
ShareLogs from cornedor - we will provide NO support unless the logs from this app are included with your post!
PerformanceTool from cornedor
We welcome suggestions of other things people like from other ROMs that you want included but we want to try and keep all changes as light as possible to stay as close to AOSP as we can. Also, feel free to add your own features and make pull requests to our repos to have them included.
Known Issues...
MHL, as with all non-sense ROMs
The boot.img included will not currently work well (or at all) so use the latest BLADE-42 kernel from maxwen (link below)
As these builds are very close to vanilla AOSP, updates won't come regularly but only as AOSP itself gets updated or if there are other features we implement
Downloads
BLADE kernel
ROM (MD5: d8a5ad3b0ff92930bd9d0d7abca98d60)
GAPPS
Installation
Install kernel from bootloader
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot-BLADE-42-201305280126.img
A factory reset and system wipe is always recommended (use Titanium to backup/restore your apps and data) but may not be required. If you have issues, please try and recreate them after a factory reset/system wipe before reporting them.
Install ROM and GAPPS from recovery
Wipe cache/dalvik
Reboot.
Thanks to...
Lloir for the device tree
Maxwen for his kernels
corne for his PerformanceTool and ShareLogs tool

Integration of SuperUser into Settings
Planned
Advanced reboot menu after long press reboot
Camera mods:
Timer option
Burst mode
How-to build coming soon.
we don't want this rom becoming a mashup rom like pacman and so on, which are highly unstable and cause massive issues with apps on the market....so if people want to recommend stuff sure, but not all will be accepted
Been using this rom for a good day now and I must say that it sure is incredibly smooth! So great work boys
Nice!!! :good:

Is it possible to add hardware button configuration? Or at least the option to return the app-switcher button to its intended use instead of being a menu button?
Feels great
But poweramp plays music by itself (two times so far), one time at 2am, with the speakers, never had this with the other ROMs

Btw, after one day of use, I found it very smooth but the battery drained very fast and I had the feeling that it was heating without doing something special (CPU at 45°C just listening to music)
