Is it possible to make a forelayer like they have on HTC HD2 Leo?
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=798911
If it is possible, could someone a little more competent than me do it?
I'm looking forward to an answer

So many people looking, no one knows anything?
This thread can now be moved, or erased, I have gotten an answer...
Hey everyone,
I just got an Xperia X10a off a friend off mine who upgraded to a different phone. I had a Captivate, but my gf broke it... I've been digging around this section of XDA and was wondering if there are any "complete" roms out for the X10 with android 2.2. I mean with everything functioning? I've seen a lot with some bugs still. I've read that this phone is a lot more difficult development wise than the Galaxy S line.

Have a look at dev section and have fun
Hi all, sorry for being a noob here, but I was wondering... I have a brand new, SIM-locked Xperia Ray. I want to put CM7 or MIUI on it.
I noticed that Sony Ericsson offers an official bootloader-unlock method, but as some of you have said, it has issues.
I was wondering if anyone could please tell me the order in which I should be doing things (as I still need to get my phone sim-unlocked, as well) in order to get my phone to have CM7 on it. There are several threads discussing related things, but I'm not entirely sure where to start, or what to do first.
I've put CM on my old Desire-Z and Touchpad, but it seems to be a little more complicated with the Ray...
Thank you so much!
Hello to everyone and excuse me if my question is probably going to be dumb but I'm quite clueless about the issue I'm experiencing and I hope to find an advice here.
I own and X10 mini with MiniCM7 2.1.6 and 2.6.29.6-nAa-08 kernel. Everyhing's fine, really a great piece of work that has put new life into my beloved X10 Mini but I'm experiencing the 'screen cut' issue that's discussed around here too (though it seems confined to the X8's): it happens only with some games (Labyrinth for example but also Ellis Markov Basketball and others) but it happens and I'd like to get rid of this.
I don't know if it could be an issue related to the apps not being designed for Gingerbread but I don't think so because I expect something different should this be the case.
I've read that the kernel nAa-08b is intended to solve this issue but it seems (maybe I'm wrong) that it isn't suitable for my X10 mini (I've made some digging around and the latest kernel version for my mini seems the one that I've already installed while the 08b seems to be intended for the X8). I'm sure that the reply is already around here but I couldn't succeed in finding it though I've read a lot (really a lot!) of posts here and there, especially on the official thread:

where unfortunately I couldn't post because I'm a new member with less than ten posts. Some advices? Thanks anyway!
Hi all,
I've been on this site a while now and with my new phone, the Mini ST15i I noticed that it is bunched together with various other phones. With my last phone, it had a section to itself and it was MUCH easier to navigate. I understand that XDA won't be creating a new section for EVERY new phone, but if it's partially a matter of usage and partially requests, I would certainly like to ask XDA to create a new section for our Mini.
If you don't know much about what it looks like for other popular phones, it's something like:
Xperia Mini (ST15i)
General
Questions & Answers
Accessories
Development
I don't mind if it's a different format, just that we would have our own section. I DIDN'T see another therad like this when I wrote this, so is it partially a matter of demand? Would you be interested in this?
Themes and Apps
I will use this topic to bring out another issue:
Will there be an easy way to root xperia mini pro .62 firmware? Is someone working on it?
Couldn't find any thread about it.
I dont think so. You can try rooting with SuperOneClick( but i doubt it'll work on .62 FW).
Flashing custom kernel with root will work.

First, to the topic starter: In "About xda-developers.com" forum section, is being discussed over new sections of phones. Since Xperia Mini is not that popular and it doesn't have many custom stuff, it doesn't need own section. Yet, who knows, in future might it change.
Also, on the other hand, Xperia Mini has quite similar system as some other 2011 Xperia's, so it is easier for developers to create one topic of ROM/Kernel, which works for many phones.
To poster nomailx:
There is no exploit in .62 firmware, which would allow it to be rooted. Currently, you can either downgrade your firmware to a older one or flash a new kernel(lots of these can be found in Development section).
To poster duki994:
SuperOneClick does not root .62 firmware, as it uses the same exploit as every other Xperia rooting program, and that exploit is fixed, so that's why it does not work.
But the 2010 X10 Mini and X8 got their own sections...is the 2011 Mini really less popular??
Here is the proper place to vote for a phone to get it's own section. I voted. You simply reply to the post Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini +1.

lol its not worth it. i mean, mini and mini pro shares the same hardware/software except the hardware keyboard other than thats its all the same
Mini and Mini Pro is fine, yes they're near identical. But no other phones in the same section. Have you used the section of another phone on here? It's actually a pleasure to navigate through the sections. It's quite a task on the other hand in our section to find a rom that's for our phone, it's all jumbled up. Like I said, for anyone who has already used another section on this site, knows what I'm talking about.

Active, Live with Walkman, Mini and Mini Pro, all these use the same chipset and same hardware, just Live with Walkman has dual speakers and Mini Pro has keyboard etc.
Comparing hardware, we can also add Ray, Play and Arc, these also have same chipset, just 8MP camera etc.
OMG people read the post everyone in the world knows the hardware is similar, that is NOT what I talked about.

I'm with you on this one, partially though. Imagine having to control 4 different dev threads, with people spamming all over the place. It would be "nice", but not practical. Since most fixes work for all minis I suggest they keep them as they are.
X10 mini and x8 had different screen sizes.
Whats worse, they havent made a SE Xperia Pro thread at all...
