Aosp Notification Bar + Aosp Settings
Here are the Aosp Notification Bar and Settings. The Settings are tweaked to allow the user to change the battery icon and the location of the clock. This also replaces the Sense Usb Selector with the Aosp Usb Selector.
Before you get to excited though, there is a down side. The signal bars don't work! (Yet, I hope) As you can see in the screenshot below they just show up as having no signal bars.
Therefore!
Please do a complete backup just in case you don't like it or it doesn't work!
I have only tested on Fourth Bar Nexus.

Thanks for the status bar! I know you already know the issues but just wondering why the Data Receiving arrows are on the Signal Bars and sometimes on the WiFi Icon. Good work!

The arrows on the wifi are correct. Its that way on the Galaxy Nexus. I'm not sure about the signal bars though. I think that once the bars work it will fix itself.

What carrier are you on? It simply switches because t mobile lies to you and tells you that you are always getting 4G, when in actuality the radio chip is switching between HSPDA and 3G to save battery.

Hspda is 3g or should I say 3.5g. We don't have actual 4g I know that. So when you get so called "4g" what does it say H? Then it switches back to 3g ? I haven't installed it. I was thinking this concept could be part of the problem of why you don't see signal bars. But im novice so just throwing it out there.
I do have T-Mobile

Yes. I live in a heavy 4G area with great HSPDA speeds. Screw the H icon...I want it 4G so yes it says 4G but at 7.2MB/s I have no need for home internet.

no, It's the same as me changing your name to Superman.
Does it give you any special powers? No
It does give you the Superman name.
No. It basically changes the icon only from 3G to 4G. I live ina HSPDA/4G(HSPA+) area and just enjoy seeing 4g.
I started to think I was the only one that was doing this. A month or so ago every rom I flashed I would change the 3g icons to 4g ones that I took from epic roms and changed the others to 3g. People would see it and say " how you getting 4g with T-mobile?" (Before t-mobile got 4g) I also had si stickers on my old lx civic.lol

wait so does this actually say 3g when in regular 3g area and switch to 4g when in hspa+ areas or is it always 4g
If you don't like the option for the 4g keep it to yourself but for you idiots I have 4g coverage on my vibrant I upgraded it a few weeks ago and it shows up on my bill as unlimited 4g web so call t-mobile and ask them to upgrade your plan, making statements that you fail to research is ignorant and you just look stupid

Now on ATT and France Atrix!
I whipped this up with some help from the GOB's at UOT and cred's to Nottach for the Carrier and 1% Battery Mod! This is a Sense-like theme, with some minor mods that you can see in the screen shots. if it is requested i will make a version with the normal sense battery instead of the crysis one and a transparent pull down instead of the matrix one
NOTE: i have included an addon zip that will give you the actual sense battery and sense background for notifications for those who want the more thorough look
I have simplified the attachments somewhat.
if you want to try out the Sense Battery and decide you don't like it you can simply flash back v.2
Flash in CWM, make a backup if you feel it's necessary.
WARNING: this has only been tested on my phone on ATT 4.5.9.1! i accept no responsibility for your phone deciding it no longer wants to work. that said, enjoy!
I now have a port for the France Atrix, reported as working but still i have not personally tested. flash at your own risk!

Change Log:
v.4 - I think i really fixed the 1% error on france now
v.3 - Fixed 1% battery on france port
France port is up!
Sense Battery add on and white notifications background, if you like the crysis and matrix touch then don't flash!
v.2 - Redid scripting for no change error
v.1 - initial release
Since i don't ask for donations, a simple press on that *free* thanks button would suffice!

Awesome theme but I think there is a bug, I'm on Kennethpenn's gingerbread rom and matching gingerbread radio. It seems to show the H+ when I turn on wifi, but as soon as I turn off wifi it reverts back to 3g icon, I've checked and its stays on hspa never changes between turning on and off wifi.

Is there a way to turn off just 4g LTE on newts one xxx? I live in mostly 3g area and don't want the battery drain from the phone searching for LTE signal. I know how to use the menu and change from global to gsm to cdma/lte, but I can't find the option to turn off LTE only of there is one.

no problem. I am using the same rom. It is super smooth now that I removed the ottrbox defender from my rezound. It was cauing my screen to go black when I tried to get things open sometime. I have the otterbox commuter coming.
I finally upgraded from the rls 3.2.1. Ive been on it two days now and I love it. It's super smooth, noticed no lag yet running funky's 1.5 kernel because I like the fast charge since I'm only near a car charger most of the day. But battery life is really good, better than 3.2.1. The only problem I had was the 4g, but ya'll showed me the solution. Newt has arguably the best sense roms out here.

ro.product.name=jfltexx
And thats it! No more Carrier Label on the top left, and Orginal 3G,H+,LTE Icons like on the international device!!!

Carrier label/original bars works OK for me doing the following:
ro.product.device=jflte
ro.product.model=SAMSUNG-SGH-I337
ro.product.name=jfltexx
Despite OPs post probably having no adverse side affects, I feel a little more comfortable using the above just in case some random app expected my product.model to return something else or to target it for something else.
No big deal.

Your Welcome!
Can someone post a screenshot of the icons? I know it's easy enough to change and change back but wanted to look at what they look like before editing build.prop unnecessarily. Thanks.
Now the phone shows H , H+ for 3G and a 4G , all with two up/down color arrows under ( standard AOSP).
Funny , now the truth reveals, there isn't any LTE where I live .. it's H+ and up to 8Mbit/Sec (but I knew that before removing the hideous 4G LTE symbol) . Been to W. Hollywood today and 4G showed up , and 16Mbit/Sec speeds.. Not a surprise. LTE will be spread slowly, and will never be 100M per user (all it takes is broadband share between multiple users , ans bandwith limiting). Another reason to have WiFi hotspot service by AT$T running on the I337 all the time without asking us, to make sure one does not use LTE if free WiFi is available.. Well, with 10Giga plan I rather run 15Mbit/Sec LTE than 1Mbit/Sec hotspot.. Thanks for rooting, and freezing apps...
