I had CH version
I went to PC Companion and do the following
1. connect the phone with VolUp
2. Support - repair phone
3. wait till some preparations been made, choose phone model
4. disconnect usb cable, connect with VolDown
5. wait till update complete
now I have WORLD version of ICS 1257-4009-R3G
Yup, that's the CH version. Same as I have on my phone.

CH is 1257-3740
The sticker on the back may well be, but if you flash CH then you get 4009 in the software menu.
All I've done is flash the CH ftf using flashtool.

What version does this update the radio too? Is this new or do most phones have this update? Will it work on the beta wp7.8 roms?
So - I only have an image2 folder on my lumia 710 (tmo US) - I assume I can't do this radio update?
Hello developers,
I have tried to re-flash my Sony Ericsson X10 and i couldn't. This is what i tried:
1) I have restarted PC and Disabled drivers signature enforcement (or how it is called)
2) Then i installed flashdrivers from Flashtool folder
3) Once i connect my phone in flashmode (pressing back button and connecting to pc) this is what Windows shows:

I have tried to connect my phone on USB 3.0 and USB 2.0, once i connect it on USB 3.0 it shows SEMC device, but when i connect it on USB 2.0 it shows Unknown device or something like that.
Somebody knows how to fix that and if there's even a solvation for this thing? Or Windows 8.1 doesn't accept Sony device in flashmode anymore? Thanks for help! Waiting answers asap! By the way when i connect my phone when it's turned on Windows accepts it fine, i get these errors only when i connect my turned off phone to PC in flashmode to flash it.
P765 in ICS V10C
It dead unexpectly
First, I try to plug the phone to my PC and it appear and disappear in device manager with the name of OMAP4430. I install the fastboot drive and then it rename as "TI" something in device manager.
Second, I use the fastboot script in the forum and choose the option 2 (and try all the other option). It show "failed remote partition does not exist."
And then I try to use the fastboot script but this time I hold the vol + button when I plug the usb cable. This time the lge mobile usb serial port appear in device manager and I am able to use the KDZ tools to start the phone update.
However, the update was stuck in about 2 mins after the lge mobile usb serial port auto appear. I check the device manager, lge mobile usb serial port will automatically disappear and the update progress was aborted. The best result so far is about 50% and stop.
How can I stop the phone auto disconnect with the PC?
Thankyou~!

Dear all,
I 've a problem with my xperia Z2 tablet (SGP512 E1/B). I've downloaded the FTF file: Z2_Tablet_32GB_SGP512_6.0.1_23.5.A.1.291_VirtualMobileOperatorFR-DE-AT-CH-BE-NL-PL.ftf, MD5 sum is ok.
After flashing by flashtool ver 0.9.23.2 I'm pressing power button and waiting for 1th boot. After a seconds, when main screen appears (where I can change the language etc), during 3 seconds the following information appears:
FACTORY STARTUP SERVICE - Please wait for on-screen POWER OFF BUTTON. After a few seconds a black screen appears with a big button "POWER OFF" and I can only push this button and turn off the tablet.
Can anybady advice what to do. I've checked other FTF files, also with different android versions (from 4 up to 6) dedicated for SGP512.
There are some movies at youtube, probably it is a problem with com.sonyericsson.startupflagservice process or similar.
How to remove this process from FTF file, is it possible?
Regards

When I connect my S9+ to my laptop and launch Smart Switch, it says that there is an update available for my device. However, when I click on the 'Update' button, it just downloads some stuff and the program freezes. I can close it only using the task manager. The phone isn't showing any signs that it's updating and I can use it normally while it's connected to my laptop. Did anyone experience the same thing? How do I solve this? Thanks!

Just wait and let it do its thing. I had to wait about 5 minutes before it went to the next step.
Once you start the update process don't interrupt it or it could brick the phone.
I tried it on another laptop and this time the phone even booted in download mode, but then nothing happened. I received an error message from Smart Switch saying that the phone wasn't properly booted in download mode or something like that. I gave up from Smart Switch and I'm downloading the firmware from sammobile, so I can flash it using Odin. Thanks for the reply tough!
