U of cause have backup.no...hopefully u left the originally efs folder intact.if u did that, then search in galaxy s2 forum for "recover your IMEI in 9 steps".

Did not solve the problem please help me?I have z3x Box , but i try to repair the imei did not work that phrase appears after""Searching Samsung USB Modem... Not Found""
Model: GT-I9300
Product Code: Not Active
Phone Version: I9300BULE6
PDA Version: I9300BUALE6
CSC Version: I9300VFGALE6
IMEI: Unknown
Checking ROOT... TRUE
Reading Data From Phone... OK
Writing NV Data To Phone... OK
Rebooting Phone... OK
Searching Samsung USB Modem... Not Found
Done with Samsung Tool ver 12.6
thank's

I don't know why but I thought when I left the s2 forums I'd leave these behind...oh well. Looks like your efs folder is corrupt and if you haven't made a backup there is not much hope. Your best bet would be to flash stock and send for warranty and hope for the best.

I might be wrong but 004999010640000 if I'm not mistaken is a default ime number.
Check in settings->about->status and see what your ime number is.
Search for and read the lost ime or restore efs threads to see if they can help.
Look for a user called odia. Might be able to help if you have no efs backup.

Their are a number of SGS2 phones you need to know which one you have .
then I see ""gadjet serial"" unknown

Never seen that before so i suspect its not SGS2 i9100 model .Or you are not flashing correct firmware .

[Q] how to recovery lost imei no Samsung Galaxy s2 gt-i9100?

i have Samsung Galaxy s2 gt-i9100(rooted) and suddenly my network signal was missing. and i dialed *#06# and display no imei and unknown baseband . so how to solve that problem?
gt-i9100
android version - 2.3.4
baseband - unknown
kernal version - 2.6.35.7-i9100xxkh3-cl479037 [email protected] #2
No EFS backup ? Try flashing some stock roms. If that doesn't work, service centre or local mobile repair shop; they have equipment to write the IMEI back to the device.
Yes sir i have i have tried to restore but it didnt work
neddinary
Sir give links to flash rom
plz
Samfirmware. No, I'm not going to give you a direct link; did your last slave die of overwork per chance ?
same problem
what firmwere should i download if it dosnt show up any baseband version????
Did anyone gotta solution?? :crying:
Try all the firmwares for your country/carrier (not 4.0.4 though, just in case you flash & forget then do a factory reset. If you've flashed a couple of those & your IMEI hasn't returned, it's fairly safe to say it isn't coming back; take it to a local mobile repair shop, many have the equipment to re-write the IMEI to the device fairly cheaply.
Did you manage to sort this? I was asked to look at a friends S2 which was showing no IMEI number, and I managed to sort it....
^^^
Spill the beans then; what did you do to fix it ?

Ah.... this fone was completely stock, still running Gingerbread 2. whatever!!
So.... all using Odin....
I updated-no joy
I rooted-no joy
I flashed newer custom ROM-no joy
Then, I tried flashing Stock 4.1.2, and away it went!!
IMEI number replaced, fone now working, friend well impressed!!
The files are I9100XWLSW_I9100XXMS2_I9100XEULS5_HOME.tar.md5
I'm not sure how to post a link (perhaps someone could show), I got them from YouTube, but have them if anybody needs them.
But if you Google for that, and you're on UK S2 I9100, you should be fine!!
Hope this helps some people, please bear in mind the usual : "I cannot be held responsible for any damage caused...."

Read this thread: [REF] IMEI / EFS - Know this stuff (i9300) - including "no network"
If you don't have an EFS backup, and you already tried to odin stock 4.3, then you should take it to a phone repair shop.
You already got the correct answer in the last thread you started, don't start duplicates.

No IMEI information in my galaxy tab s3

2 months Back: My brother in the name of rooting and making my galaxy tab s3 better he bricked the tab. I wasn't sure which firmware he was on and the ODIN Singapore firmware was not accepting so I used the latest firmware from the UK and restored my tab.
Present: I suddenly wanted to check the IMEI out of the blue. When I checked I couldn't find the IMEI in the phone settings so I installed my phone info app from playstore to see if it is picking up IMEI. To my surprise, I can't find IMEI there too. How to restore original IMEI?
Tab model is SM-T820.
If I were to leave it out just like this would there be any issue?
Would love to hear a solution.
