I use Slacker Radio all the time but I hate how the ongoing notification doesn't match other notifications. So I made it match.
There are two versions. One includes the station title in the notification and the other does not. I removed the background and changed the text colors and sizes. I also increased the size of the status bar icon when Slacker is running.
Note: This will only work properly on ICS roms or GB roms with inverted notifications.
Updated to v3.2.2047 released on 06/25/12
Credit: Slacker, Inc.
Change Log:
06/27/12:
- Updated to v3.2.2047
- Centered notification text vertically
Installation:
- Download the apk file you want
- Uninstall the market version of Slacker as this will not install over it (different signature)
- Install like you would any other apk file
- If you decide to try the second version after installing the first, there is no need to remove the first. It will install over.

Nice. I use slacker as well, and have always had an issue with this too. Thanks
Nice glad to see someone still helping out in the community :highfive:
And the keyboard mod we talked about a while ago... I guess for now i can just take your classes.dex file from your keyboard and put it in the stock HTC_IME.apk and then mod the PNGs for now if thats fine with you?? And of coarse if i post it credits going to you.
Just curious what text colors can you change? For example can the text color for when you press/hold a key down be different?

This mod should work with all stock, and modded sony ericsson frameworks. Tested on .24, and .504 - works like a charm.
NOT TESTED ON X8! (but probably working...) And NOT FOR CM6/7, and all other custom / non-SE based roms, sorry... Only SE FW!
SCREENSHOTS:
Tutorial HOW-TO-INSTALL:
- Open framework-res.apk with 7zip
- Select "res" folder from downloaded archive, and drag him to opened 7zip window
- When prompted "Are sure You want to copy...?" select "YES"
- Close 7zip

Please have in mind, that it's the only fast, and safe method. Don't try to update framework-res.apk another way, or You get a bricked phone after pushing file to system folder!
If You aren't sure how to do this please ask. Asking don't cost, and can protect from messing up Your phone!
The safest way to push framework-res.apk to Your phone is using ADB Mask Controller. When You f*ck up Your phone is always a chance to get back with this app. Please be careful, and read everything before You try to install!

Hello Everyone,
So I have been working on videos on using different widget apps, backgrounds, and themes and thought I would share them all in a thread for you. I have a similar thread in the Xoom forum, but thought I would share with other devices. All of this was done on a Xoom but this easily works on any Honeycomb Device with the exception to my last step 5 which has to do with theming,(this is device specific), but if the maker of a theme executed correctly, you can follow the same steps to install the theme. I go through various tools but they do follow an order from start to finish. This is not an exact perfect way to use each of these widgets I am talking about, but its a way that worked for me. I hope you enjoy and find this useful.
Big shoutouts to everyone. I give credits in my video, sorry if I miss you here. Submicron, BigDogRush, BigDX, Ghoticov, XDA Community in General (You guys rock!!!)
Please note that towards the end I switched colors to Blue instead of the Orange theme I have in the beginning.

Hey Looks good,
Have you tested the Honeycomb interface modifications (flash able ones) with the Samsung 10.1v? Do they work without issues?
Cheers,
Adrian

Working MIUI Extended Settings for latest MIUI by tiger2wander
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18586416
What is it for?
- customize the carrier logo - you'll find more logos here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=16663436
- write/define your own carrier e.g. you want "fubar" as carrier or whatever...
- centered clock in status bar
- etc.
Installation:
Put in > Open Recovery > updates and apply in OR.
Then use MIUI Control Panel. Have fun.

I don't know why I find this image fascinating every time I read this thread... well, tineye to the rescue: http://blog.stanis.ru/img/27196.jpg
Thanks, enjoy! I must admit- I had to use Google because of "tineye for the rescue"... the 2nd hit then helped me out hehe.
Unfortunately this theme is on my old SD card, so I don't have it at the moment to share, but if I understood it right, you already helped yourself
It's a weird picture and I liked it, as lockscreen but also while getting a call it was fun...

Hi,
I'm working on making a theme for the Samsung Galaxy S and one of the things I've been looking to do recently is to change the text colour of the notifications in the pull down menu. So I edited some of the XMLs and it seemed to work...almost. Here's a screenshot below of what I've done so far for reference:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The media scanning entry here shows what I can only assume is black text where in fact everything else as far as I can see is the green colour I intended it to be [#ffa4c639]. I can't seem to figure out why this is. Here's a list of the XML files I've modified so far to get to where I am:
framework-res.apk
/res/layout/status_bar_latest_event_content.xml
SystemUI.apk
/res/layout/status_bar_call_ongoing.xml
/res/layout/status_bar_expanded.xml
/res/layout/status_bar_icon.xml
/res/layout/status_bar_latest_event.xml
Have I missed something out from this list? If you need me to include anything else here just let me know .
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks .

THat covers the normal but alot of apps dont refer to those color codes and instead use ones defined by the app its self. Reason that dark menu themes will always have black on black issues with some apps.
I would find the apk that controls the media scanner and decompile it and look inside that

Your lockscreen should reflect your emotions, your personality, the way you look at life. But not every rom grants you the possibility to express your self with freedom...
My Home UI is a lockscreen customization module. It gives you the ability to take full control over your current lockscreen without replacing it. You can insert text, images, and even animated gif! You can also hide existing lockscreen elements like the clock, and replace it by your choice... It's up to you to customize your lockscreen now!
