I have a Xperia Mini Pro, Sk17a model and like its keyboard very much.. But I have a problem: there is no CTRL or ALT keys.. Is there any key combination for that? I really miss it when using DOSBox or SSH terminal applications..

Anyone knows how to enter a tabulator with the keyboard on a x10 mini pro? I like to play in the terminal emulator and a tab key would be very useful. If there was a way to add tab keys to the two arrow keys when blue button is pushed it would be very nice. Anyone?
We can't even work out how to write an underscore without reverting to the software keyboard... See this thread:

i dont like the virtual keyboard
i have tried a lot of virtual keyboard (better keyboard, smart .. etc etc )
i have every time the same probleme, the virtual keyboard bug my physical keyboard, the "sym" for the smiley or the "- _ ^ < > ... etc etc " does not work ...
I wand to change my virtual keyboard but how ?

you can get the 'sym' button to work if you long press>input method>default input settings.
Yes but i will not change this setting everytime
there is not a virtual keyboard that works not in landscape mode ?
or one keyboard that does not bug the physical keyboard

x10 mini pro doesn't have a search button.
There are some ways to remap another key to the search button, but you would lose that key.
I had remapped the sym key to search, but I was not using sony ericsson default keyboard (and so, the sym key wasn't working properly).
Also it was in a custom rom, not the stock. I hadn't try it in stock.

open the keyboard and start writing, or use the google search widget
Google search widget would be the best way. Just set it on your main screen.
Guys Need your help remapping my keyboard to move around Android..
Right now I am not able to close any application coz i don't a back botton to exit it..I press the home button to getback to the home screen.. Please help me remapping.
