What are some really good settings for dsp manager so that j get amazing sounds?
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
What type of music you listen. More bass? Just some questions.
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
Yeah, depending on what you listen to you will need different settings.
I listen to a lot of rap and dub step. I don't want too much bass but I just want it to be louder than it is right now.

Um I'm not sure what to say. Try turning down the bass.

It doesn't help either but thanks for trying to help me out

The phone has a horrible loudspeaker. You can't really do much to improve the sounds quality. It just isn't powerful enough.
Damn it I had my cousin's blackberry and played a song from the speaker and I was amazed it had such a sound it was omg I can say! It even beats my computer LOL.

Yes its been known. HERE is a thread. Need root to fix.
Hey everyone. I recently became addicted to this audio effect and wow and makes everything sound amazing! But I only use the dynamic sound option to increase bass. Now what would I apply to have awesome bass but clean high quality highs and lows?

I like the bass too, but I never have found a good config where I can use the dynamic sound. I usually stick to playback gain to moderate, equalizer on acoustic, and convover with something... Currently running the DBX 160SL Blue - High ratio ir. It is included in the package of IR's you can download in the main viper thread. I have recently started using cure tech but nothing else other than above. You could try enable viper clarity and select xhifi. That works pretty good too.

Alright will try. Thanks man

Oh wow now its not working... have it in system/app set permissions and it doesn't work.. deleted DSP manager. Have no idea.

Are you running a 4.3 ROM? They just updated the app today to work on 4.3.

Also, I have never set to system, I just install the apk and select viper as the default in system sound settings. Works like a charm.

I'll have to try again. No its a ICS rom.

How do you set a default sound?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
Well. The only reason I'm on the Google play edition is because without beats audio the speakers sound not good. So I was wondering if there is an option or equalizer setting I can put to make It sound better than stock non beats audio

poweramp from the play store
I guess the DSP manager would be what I would use to enhance the speaker equalizer around the whole device. Just need to find what's right.

I use the headphone jack to my car's stereo. So used to viper4android just wondering what or/if who is using something to get a better sound?

You may have to wait till we get root. Then we can both go back to using Viper4Android!

I guess, just don't want to wait a month or more to get better sound

I plug my phone into my car stereo as well. I've been using PlayerPro for about 3.5 years now (originally on my Evo 4G) and I've had trouble finding a music player that can beat it. In terms of settings and customization it's pretty friggin' great. It has a a companion 'DSP Pack' app that gives you a full 10 channel equalizer with an adjustable pre-amp setting to play with.
Even though the app is entirely built around 2.x Gingerbread, there are quite a few themes that update the look to keep things current. i HIGHLY recommend checking out the free trial app. I rarely spend money on apps anymore, but this one was well worth the couple dollars.
The only thing is that i actually Don't have music on my ☎. I mostly listen to pandora or songza. This is where i need The eq

I use 'Equalizer' https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smartandroidapps.equalizer with Spotify and Play Music. This EQ app works with those 2 via the settings menu for 'Audio Effects' or 'EQ', but I can't speak for Pandora or Songza.
