I just downloaded modern combat 3 from the store, and it was all fun and games till I found out how hot the top part of the screen and the top part bsside the camera was getting. Literally, if you put an ant on the hot spot, you'd probably kill it.

Looks like there is a tie for the most stable Android release (for apps anyway), between 2.3.1 and 3.2.

Lol I didn't even read the article, just looked at the pie chart... I assumed this was just another persons way of saying the Android is better than iOS.
Sorry but I cant believe that. Motorola alone would probably outweigh all other Android manufacturers and all iPhones combined in crash count.

So in a world where companies and lay people alike are completely brainwashed into thinking iOS is the most amazing thing since sliced bread and NEVER has problems like crashing apps or any other problem for that matter, you don't consider this relevant?
If you were considering a tablet or smartphone OS and just wanted something stable without cheer-leading any particular company, you wouldn't consider this relevant information?

haha yeah. there are like 7 islands with up to twelve levels on each one. getting harder as you go around.

No, I'm an idiot, I only played the first Island, or set of levels. I haven't yet tried the other 14? Islands.. heh.
Crayon Physics is one of those games that underclocking is a huge benefit... Otherwise the phone gets very warm and the battery drops like crazy..
Zenonia is another one I have to underclock on.. I drop to 600mhz max, conservative governor, and it gets it under control. And feels the same, not slower or anything.
I've got 40 stars now, just starting the next island. A few of them I've gotten lucky on, a few I really had to fiddle with for a while.
Finished it today, at least I think so? Last level just says "The end", nothing to do?
I installed the apk, though it FCs every time. I'm running ICS Seraphim Mesosphere-B2. Anyone else have the same problem or resolve this already? Loved this game, would really like to get it back.

It's really awesome!
I downloaded it this morning and played a couple of hours before work. It seems really good.
Not too difficult to level up or buy new weapons through gameplay.
The tasks/accomplishments make it interesting enough to replay a level a few times to complete them all. I can see this keeping me occupied for a while.
I think it would be better with a PS3 or similar game pad.
I might have to investigate hooking up a cheap usb gamepad just to play this game

Stupid question, I just tried this and somehow I leveled up to the next scene/poster, while I havent get all the reel from the first scene/poster, I cannot find a way to return to the first scene/poster, is that how it is, or am I missing something?

I am running the pandawan rom and when using the stock internet browser or boat browser I get pop ups or ads embedded in the site.. I was using an adware app but after trying to install it now says out of date... what can I do to prevent this from occurring. . Thanks for your 2 cents

I'm sorry, I just don't have the time to be up on the forum like that. I only have just over 200 posts since being a member in 2009. You have over 5k... maybe you have the time.
I occasionally swap roms and mod the device that's it... between being a owner operator and renting out duplexes.. my concern is business. Most folks think cause they go to work .. rent an apartment and drive a car.. they are middle class.. the true definition of middle class is ownership & production.. if you don't own the land or produce anything well your another taxpayer to the system. So my concentration lies within business not really phones.. I applaud the great efforts of developers who continue to do such wonderful things for the community..
I used to do IT @ siemens for years myself..but got out the the corporate dog & pony show racket long time ago once they started creating ibo's in india and other countries..
So I became my own man.. created my own since of success.. travel.. motorcycles. . Mercedes.. and a galaxy note that's running fast... so life is good...
And since I always like share the wealth if you ready to make 147k tax free after 336 days on the a contract overseas.. let me know.. that kinda money changes situations and creates new ones. Its a dangerous risk.. but you barely spend anything and keep all of it.. unless you have a greedy wife with 3 days a week shopping mall addiction.

It also means I'm willing to try apps I wouldn't have tried before. 15 minutes just isn't enough time to figure out any but the simplest apps.
That's good I got stuck with icons I didn't like because my daughter fell and hurt herself, and I had to tend to her for 15mins

If you just download small apps, 15 min is probably ok. But if you download big apps, like Gangstar Vegas, Spiderman or like I did yesterday the new Star Wars (KOTOR) game, you really need an ultimate fast internet connection. Downloading the Star Wars game took over 20 mins on my tablet, so after buying I did not try it and time is over - btw, it told me yesterday after buying I would have a 15 min window for getting a refund - so I knew before, it's too less time to even try out the game.

Same here, not much more games, but I have (had) not that much conflicts to try out new games.
