On infected roms the speaker is nice and loud but the other roms is not so loud especially to hear ny ring tones

Maybe try volume +. You're right though, infected is the best rom if volume levels are an issue for you. That's one of the reasons I stay with infected.

I have the infected Rom and I was about to say this phone is sometimes too loud lol

Any roms or apps do call recording yet?
Thanks!

I saw in one thread, I think it was Ziggy's kernel that it had Call Recording.. I MAY BE WRONG.. But just wanted to point it out in case you really need it and want to research it...

it works through music.
Beats = Bass boost.
But what does The Dolby Digital accomplish ?
Does beats audio offer any advantage if you don't have the beats headphones?

has anyone tested it on SpeedRom 2.3.0?

your rom should converted to deodex.
Last time I tried this it broke A2DP streaming immediate force closes when Bluetooth is turned on, it freezes the phone at times too turning off Bluetooth fixed it.

Yes it does, but the better the headphones, the more you hear the difference, doesn't need to be beats

Yes...I'm far from a sound engineer but the Beats audio mod is a glorified equalizer in layman's terms... Used it on my old Inspire and Sensation and you can notice a small improvment in sound

So I've been trying EclipzeRemix's SpeedRoom with Beats Audio but I'm not hearing any difference between 'No Effects' and 'Beats Audio'.
I'm using decent headphones non Beats head phones (ATH-ES55) but don't hear that pronounced bass that everyone keeps talking about.
Thoughts?

Yea there is a diffrence, but you can't toggle it, but there is a pretty nice diffrence from the regular music app preset. Again you can't turn it off or change it

There is a much better bass, but I'm using a pair of beats solos so I dunno

Yeah, the no toggling would explain why there isn't a difference.
Awesome ROM btw. Nice touch with the boot animation.

It doesn't work with our phone. In one of the other beats threads, this is mentioned... More the reason to search before posting.

I don't think so... There may be a custom Rom that uses beats... Maybe try that.
I do know that I blew my car's component 6x9s using PowerAmp. I strongly recommend

Because Beats Audio increases the volume. I personally have it off and use a FiiO E6. It also eliminates the background hissing.

Where can I find that?

Amazon, I would only get it if you need a volume boost, I mainly got it because my headphones were hissing when directly plugged into the phone. It is around $30, and really good for the money

I've been searching for a fix for the volume being too low through the speaker and the earpiece. Even when I'm in my car with the windows rolled up I could barely hear the person. Finally found this fix that actually works. Just wanted to share with everybody else having the problem. Its basically defaultgain.conf file overwrite.
