Devices getting jelly bean are still over 9 months out. "they"? If you mean Motorola, since they were who you just whined about, ICS is only on about 7% of devices at the moment. It takes time to refine a major upgrade like this to work on different devices.
Childishly swearing at someone on a chat support? That solves nothing other than establishing your lack of credibility on these forums.

I home this time is different since google released the pdk. Also it will be funny if motorola weren't in the list of the producer whu received the psk month before the official release of jb (just because motorola is propriety of google)

I know I was being a joker, but you have to give some folks the benefit of the doubt because they may not live in a country that has the priviledge of receiving Ben and Jerry's. It is available in Costa Rica where I am living, but not in the variety that is available in the US. I knew there would be someone wanting to find them on twitter though. Now we have to see where they live.

Since nobody has said anything about this milestone yet, dragonzkiller has announced on twitter about 6 hours ago that CM9DX2 alpha might be released either tonight or tomorrow! Big props to him for working so hard on getting ICS onto our phones.

So, I'm curious, what benefits do we get from cm9 as opposed to cm7? Ics is nice, but will there be new features? Or is it just a cleaned up GUI. I know that ics should be able to multi-thread when gingerbread can't, so is that going to happen with our phones? (my guess is not until kexec starts working)

Well as of right now, only dragonzkiller knows how much ICS it will bring us. If its a full CM9 port, Im sure we will have all of the ICS features unless some things dont work. But this is a first Alpha so I'm sure not everything will work. It's just a wait and see right now.

Im sure there will be quite a few things not working at first. He's probably only releasing it because he has the main stuff working like data, wifi, cellular network, hopefully sms. I've been watching some videos on cm9 and saw that some other ports didnt have the camera working.
I just realized you all are talking about cm like its cool news but my thread was based on information about open Kang... So disregard my disregard...

I was JUST told in pm that he has a stable build with minor bugs, and that he is working very hard on the last major bug, so I can confirm aokp... he is hard at work on this and will reveal himself after he shares his work with the community, so he doesn't get a thousand private messages. Just know he is among us and watching for haters...

So the Lg has been out almost 3 months now. Yet no ROMS for it really. When are the 4.1 or 4.2 ROMS coming out so I can get this old ICS off my phone
