Yes. It will work, the only thing that you need to change is the APN settings in order for you to get 4G speeds in your device.

Not to derail this thread, but how strong of a signal are u guys receiving? I'm constantly getting +105dbm (very bad!) on the stock LF2 baseband and was wondering if you guys have a better luck with other radios out there.
I'm on the DXLEA Baseband and my signal is very good.
Do you have a link to the DXLEA radio and does it require root to flash?

No I don't. As far as I know, it was part of the Omega 6.0 ROM that I flashed a while ago.

Like the thread says, I'm just wondering if after i unlock a Samsung Galaxy Note 4G LTE so that i can use it on my network, if it'll downgrade to HSPA+ or keep the 4G LTE
Nothing will change unless you flash a radio that does not support lte but even then you could just flash the stock radio again.

4G as in H+? Then yes.
No, they have different radios. GSM (AT&T) vs CDMA (Verizon)
JaeKay, the Verizon S4 had both radios. I have personally used an AT&T SIM and made calls and gotten H+. So to the OP, YES YOU CAN. You just need to add the APN info after you put in the new SIM card.

I have both a TMO sim and and ATT sim, and I got EDGE with TMO. No H/H+ right now on TMO because very few areas are on 1900. Our version of the S4 does not have the ability to use H/H+ on the AWS frequencies, just LTE.

Hey guys...
So, the Verizon S4 is the model named SCH-I545 and it comes with a sim slot, right? Besides, it comes Internationally Unlocked, so it can be used on GSM networks around the world, correct?
Just one more question, does it work on the 850MHz Band for 3G?
I'm thinking on buying one also! Thanks!
I brought the vzw s4 back to india.. but its not working with either vodafone or airtel GSM.
After rooting and installing apn manager and titanium pro I was able to get the data working but that too only 3g.
But the voice n sms is still not working.
I too am lookiblng for a solution but didnt find any, inspite of this being a world phone.

Same issue in India
I am having the same issue. The phone picks up only data signal and not voice or SMS. I have a Note2 purchased from Verizon and it works perfect. I have rooted and was able to install an I9505 ROM Wamma Lite. It picked up the gsm signal for a moment and same issue occured. Can aI9505 modem be iinstalled using Odin which will make the gsm modem primary and CDMA secondary and allow gsm use for voice and SMS. Please help.

Yes, it will work on 850
Straight from Sammy.
"Frequencies and Data Type:
LTE: Bands 4/13
CDMA 1x/EVDO Rev.A: 800/1900MHz
HSPA+/UMTS: 850/900/1900/2100MHz
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900MHz"
I am using my i545 in both CDMA and GSM networks. Didn't try HDSPA, but EVDO Rev.A and even Rev.B, and GSM with EDGE - working properly without problems. Switching between networks - is in the Settings. My phone is connected to two different operators at the same time - to CDMA and GSM.

I understand that I'll be able to use my Verizon Note 2 on T-Mobile with HSPA+, but not LTE.
Would it be possible for me to order a replacment antenna meant for a T-Mobile Note 2 and install it in my Verizon model?
Then would flashing a T-Mobile radio to access their GSM bands be feasible?

The simple answer is no. Flashing a t-mobile modem 2ill more than likely drop your imei and baseband. Our phone does have GSM capabilities but I do not believe it has the same band.
I have, however, heard of acheiving 4g..but I have personally not done so
