Hi,
I am newbie to android (just moved from IOS for 4 years).
I just rooted my S3.
I want to know what I can do to install the stock samsung chinese handwriting input to ATT branded S3?
It looks like I cant flash the ATT branded S3 with international ROM,right?
So, what I need is the chinese handwriting input from HONG KONG/TAIWAN version.
Please provide me with some helps.
Thank you.

Thanks for the reply.
But what I need is Trad Chinese, not Simp Chinese.
You need to go to the Android market, now called Play and search for the correct application. I found a Cantonese keyboard input that did both simple and traditional Chinese. There are also some handwriting versions.
You can NOT flash any international version (except Canada for Bell/Rogers), since Samsung has different processors in different countries.

Try Touch Pal, works pretty good =)
Install the Touch Pal Keyboard, then Touch Pal Handwrite

I'm a European stuck with a VZW 4G Galaxy Tab 10.1. It doesn't belong to me, I was merely asked to have a look at it and add a couple of languages to it (namely, Russian and German - it currently includes Spanish and 'US' English only, in true Californian spirit). I have so far only installed the LiquidSpeed image.
Looks like this is one of the rare occasions when Google hasn't helped..Has anyone here got any experience in adding languages? I recall having read, that European versions in fact do include the aforementioned languages. I'm so far an absolute Android Noob (This was the first Android Device I ever worked with, just bought myself a Kindle Fire so this shan't be my last post) but on Nokia S60 phones it was easy enough in that one only had to change a product code. Is a similar procedure possible on the Galaxy Tab 10.1?
Thanks a lot in advance

Can we change the qwerty keyboard to azerty ?(without the flash pmp) and the Whole samsung to french? (icone, etc...)
to charge the PMP, Ill find compatibility problem? (We have 220 V)
if I will change to a non official rom, I'll find the French version?
Thank you.

Normally the US rom should have Francais(France) and Francais(Canada) However if you don't find them, you can always flash a custom rom. But how did you buy a galaxy player instead of a galaxy s wifi if you live in morroco.
EDIT: Forgot that XDA is in english so it would be French(France) and French(Canada)

"But how did you buy a galaxy player instead of a galaxy s wifi if you live in morroco."
I did not buy the Samsung wifi 5.0 yet and i don't have the galaxy player.
(My cousin live in USA so i told him to buy one there.he comes this summer...)
So, by changing to French(France) the keyboard will change to azerty ?
Will i need a current transformer to charge ?

99 percents is Chinese fake product!
100% true Galaxy Note
I also bought it in China in Samsung store without play.google
There is already ICS on our device, but still without play.google (ggaps)
9220 with google play
I also have the GT-I9220 and it is 100% real Samsung if you want google play on it flash via odin the FM-Note-Kernel_V2.0.tar and then ICS AlBa Full DDLPA rom. Or see my answer how to make a N7000 out of it here :

ICS 4.0.4 could be flashed via KIES, but not OTA.
The chinese guys would “recovery” the zip file of GMS package. Another kind of jailbreak
More young chinese guys would buy phones of local bands, such as Huawei, Meizu, which treat with the GMS issue in a diplomatic way ; and they would buy phones of sumsung, sony from Hongkong, Europe...

Nurrrrr......dont think you live here or have any idea about the market here...
Believe me....your % are somewhat out by 90%...
Every Chinese around me have either a iPhone on plan from China Telecom or a HTC or Samsung..
And would not be caught dead with a fake..
HTC are killing it here...love to see their figures for China sales..
Re..Android without Gapps...its the norm here for most brands..
They have stripped Google out of the picture and steering the plebs to their own markets..
And or alt markets that are popping up...

hi i am about to buy a
Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 White (8 GB) Digital Media Player model no YP-G70CW/XEG but which one is this is it international/ Europe/usa or Korean sorry for this basic question but i am a noob thanks in advance i sure this has been asked 1000 times b4 but i guess i am missing it some-ware
The G70CW is the USA model.
YP-G70CW isn't the USA model, actually the CW only means that it's 8gb. The US model is YP-G70CWY/XAA. This means that your device is surely an european one which means too that it's an internationnal.
Before you buy player I think you should wait to see what Samsung does with this series. I read that they might be upgrading them to the galaxy player 2

Hi, I was given a Honor 7, Chinese version, the model is KIW-TL00 with EMUI 3.1 and 3.10.49 kernel with Android 5.1.1.
The problem is that I can't install Google Store and, although I managed to set the Italian language, many others parts remain written in Chinese.
How can I switch to a full Italian or international ROM?
Thanks
Edika
i guess this china phone came with same problem ! . the only way is to root and install custom recovery then install custom rom ! .
Just realized that is not Honor 7 but Honor 5x. I will root.
Thanks
Edika

It's a phone from a friend. He told me was an Honor 7, but checking the model number I've discovered it is an Honor 5x.
5X chinese version doesn't get really much of development.

Learning chinese is the only way.
:good:
True that there is a lot of development for Chinese phones but it's really difficult to find a good and clean ROM coz someone does the hard work and others just modify it a bit and drown the original work in copycats.
Also a lot of those Roms have unwanted system apps or the ones I got for my Chinese phones had, at least.

Yes. MIUI is one example.
I'm Chinese.
Because your phone is Chinese Edition
So HUAWEI installed many Chinese apps on your phone
They are like Taobao(AliExpress), Tencent Video, Tiktok, WPS Office, Baidu, Tencent News, Baidu Maps and Jd.com ......
Advertising is not unusual in China.
Except for Bilibili, Chinese video software has a lot of advertisements, such as pre-video ads.
Bilibili does not.
YouTube has at least 5 seconds.
Other Chinese video websites are from 15 seconds to 70 seconds.
You can’t use Google in the People ’s Republic of China, so Chinese phone developers have canceled Google Play Services in the Chinese Edition phone.
But now, you can search for GMS Installer(Chinese: 谷歌安装器) in Google or Baidu
