I've been running the below for a month or so. The only problem I've been seeing is on the music/widget side, but all videos have been playing like a champ. Music plays fine through the main interface too.

Unfortunately not working on my Touchpad (latest Nighties).
It crashes after the 'beta warning message'
Running arm7 neon on my Touchpad running the 6/28 Nightly. Works well. A couple videos have artifacts most play well.

Beta warning message? Not sure I even see this as it loads up so fast. Did you have another VLC installed from elsewhere? Maybe a cache/dalvik wipe or an app/data wipe will help?
When I say 'beta warning message', it's the little message that appears when the application starts for the first time.
This message comes back after each crash, so something isn't running fine
By the way, I tried
* wipe dalvik cache
* wipe data application
* fix permissions
* desinstall/reinstall
Could it be an incompatibility with another application?
I installed it today and it closes upon launch.

Hmmm? Just installed the 118 version, again with no problems. What ROM's you guys using? What tweaks/mods have you applied, if any?
Nothing specific installed
* CM9 Tenderloin rom (nighties from July 1st)
* CPU speed adjusted (set cpu)
* ASUS widgets installed
And that's all...
I have been running nigh ties 5-29 with Mx player 1.5a with absolutely no problems
Ive been running the version on the play store, and its really nice, a lot better than MX video player
Caruso looks nice on this for sure

Here is the NETFLIX apk. I tried it and I got stuck in the now loading screen. Maybe you'll have better luck. Let me know how it goes...

Yeah, it won't stream video yet. Some other threads are saying that the app is checking for hardware version and/or DRM rights and failing when the phones don't pass. Seems there's a thread for this in every phone's forum and they're all having the same results. I'm betting that our talented community will figure it out though

Anyone have success yet with the Netflix apk file for the HTC EVO Shift 4G streaming media?
My boyfriend's EVO has it up and running, but my EVO Shift still won't stream anything.
This is an old build. A current one is available somewhere in the forums. Go download that one...

The is another posting that has 1.2 and there is a link to dl a fix so u can watch on most sense I'm running mikshift-G and with the fix it works also works on nightly cm with out a fix
The app that is included on the New release of the mik ROM, works without the need of the patch. Been using it for the past three days.

Well here is the latest NETFLIX APP (1.3) which I'm sure is available everywhere. Figured to skip the searching and post it. Tried it on my SPEEDY and works pretty well. No need for patches, just install straight up.
I am running CM7 nightly135, with Pershoot's V1 Kernel (245/1.6 smartass)
Haven't tried it with the latest Sense Roms but I'm sure it's no problem.

Just dl'ed v1.3 from the link above and installed via adb push. App loads up fine and logs in perfectly well. All features seem intact until I try to view a video. Phone slides into Landscape mode, Netflix looks like it is buffering, then a small window pops up saying that it is having trouble connecting to the netflix site. Same result on every movie. Can't even get audio. Otherwise, the app works great. Seems to me that Netflix is a step ahead here.
Using Sprint's newest 2.3.3 temp-rooted, btw.
Juts tried my netflix app, I am using strapped rom and the app comes with the Rom, and it worked fine.

I downloaded 1.4 from market, but when I try to watch anything it tries to load then just reloads the home screen over and over. I'm using sparksco rockmod 2.3.5 rc1 with pershot kernel. I had 1.3 working fine on mik but had to flash some patch in recovery. Any ideas folks?

Had same problem, try removing the app completely wipe data and cache and then remove and download newer version from market. Hope it works.

1.4 is updated to work on any 2.2 & 2.3 device, the patch shouldn't be necessary anymore. Possible any remnants of it are hanging about?

Uninstalled, reinstalled, wiped cache, wiped davlik cache, even wiped my ass... app still behaves the same, I can login, but when I try to watch anything it just loops back to the menu. I'm gonna try some backups and test w. And w.o kernals and on different roms.

I can verify it works on cm7, shift deck, & cyclonic roms. Haven't had problems with any kernels specific to netflix.
Might be worth an ruu back to stock, clear out any accrued crud that the normal wipes doesn't cure. I have had to do that once or twice for various issues.

For me when I try to watch the stream, it says "Getting current location..." for a long time, and then "We are having trouble verifying your current location."
Do I have to spoof the GPS or something?
I had that issue on froyo. CM7 works fine.

I got nightly 37 i believe, OC kernal 4/4, and latest gapps.
If someone could help, what about this app does and doesn't work? Is it just the streaming or is it everything? I would like to download this app to get radio streaming and live stats. I don't need streaming tv. If these functions are working, I will invest in the app...
So I got my cm7 and kernel up-to-date. It didn't help me. Same error. So I spoofed my location (to my actual location) and then it works fine. Not sure why this is necessary, but it is not a big deal. I'm just happy it works!
@mfdoomesq - the audio and gameday live stats work fine out of the box.
May I ask how you spoffed it?

I use "location spoofer" app from the market.
You of course have to enable "allow mock locations" in settings/applications/development.
would be interesting to see if you could get games in your market with it.

Between you and me, that works.
Someone please help me figure out why streaming TV icon will not show up I'm running MLB at bat 1.1.1 with cm7/tt the app loads and all but no streaming options. I have the same version MLB at bat on my evo and streams show up. I've tried uninstalling clearing cache, moving to SD etc. Still wont pop up with TV option.

Are you still running a nightly instead of Stable? I'm getting the white screen problem on the stable build.
I bought the app from the Market(no TV package, just Gameday Audio), however my problem is the Gameday Audio part only works once after install.
It will play any feed, but if I exit, the feeds no longer play.
I get "uanble to connect" very frustrating.

Anyone have any luck with it yet? Downloaded the WiFi files loaded to "welcome to fairhaven" and back to home. Then, tried again. Same thing but without textures.

Works for me using the latest AOKP by SGA, the performance is far from ideal though, running @1.6ghz the fps are barely good enough to play it, too bad we can't OC the GPU.

People have been saying it lags on some devices it shouldn't. It lags on my gf gs2. Definatly shouldn't.
No dice on cm9 preview 7. Haven't had time to tweak it.

I have played the game on latest cm9 nightly (overclocked 1.5GHZ) and the game runs just fine .......

This is odd. I will have to try the new preview 8. See if it fixes it. If not, ill try the official nightly and see if it works. Hope its doesn't have to do with camera work.

i tried it on the cm9 with camera fix preview 5 but it didn't work for me. then i tried with latest nightly and it worked (surely it lags a bit)......
tried it on cm9 20121028 nightly, no chainfire, no OC. Works pretty fine for me.
Freezes on Welcome to Fairhaven and I have to force reboot the device.

I had it working a few days ago, i tried changing the DPI and it seems to have screwed it up completely, reinstall/ change the dpi reinstall uninstall etc etc nothing worked, ill try chainfire

Mine works flawlessly on CM nightlies. I held on to the original gapps I installed at the beginning and when the artifacts were cleared from the camera shots, photosphere became better too. I have been using it since then.

My gapps is dated 20121212 and it is signed.
One thing I kept doing when camera, photoshpere and gallery were misbehaving at the beginning of the nightlies was to clear data for gallery. Before I posted this, I had to reconfirm that the photosphere was still functioning well. At first it crashed immediately I activated it. So I went to Apps in Settings and cleared data for Gallery and that solved the problem. You may wish to try that. By the way I am 24/05 nightly.

No joy. I tried clearing data and stuff as suggested, but photosphere closes after taking the first shot.
Have even tried re-installing CM10.1 with nothing else installed.
Any thoughts or other suggestions?

What nightly of CM 10.1 are running? That will play a significant role in the functionality of photosphere. There was a time it was not supported at all but later support was restored and has been okay since then, at least for me.

Thanks for the update and sorry, I was out of town and was not able to get to this post.
I have recently reset my tablet to bare minimum. I am currently running CM10.1 nightly 0606, and was just thinking about upgrading to 607 (607 is latest as of writing this).
As far as camera app, i am using 4.2Camera_t04.zip (i can't remember where I aquired this from). I DO NOT, at the moment, have gapps package installed.
I will be looking to install the 301 gapps with 607 nightly to see if it helps.

Update:
I installed the latest nightly 607 and installed the 1212 gapps. Installed the camera zip mentioned earlier and tried photosphere. It opens, but after taking first picture, the camera crashes.
I tried clearing data for gallery app, but still crashes.
Investigation continues...

I actually did not install any other camera app/zip, just the gapps. So reinstall the cm 10.1 and gapps after the necessary wipes, then wipe cache and dalvik after the installation. Run Photosphere and if it crashes, wipe data for gallery.

Is anyone successfully using the Sirius xm app on their DNA running an AOSP Rom? I can get signed in and the app attempts to load, it opens in landscape mode then as soon as the player starts it goes to portrait mode and force closes.
I'm currently running pac but I've tried it on multiple cm builds too.
If anyone has it working I'd appreciate any tips. I miss Howard Stern but not enough to go back to sense.

I ended up figuring it out. I changed the DPI in hybrid properties to 220 and the layout to 720p and boom, I am now streaming howard at work.

I believe the problem is the app itself, not the Roms. The latest update gave me the same issues. I went back to a previous version i had backed up and works fine on any rom ive installed.(pac,carbon,cm) Good to know there is a work around if older version isn't available.

Yeah, unfortunately I didn't have an older version backed up. I had it backed up from a sense ROM but deleted my titanium backup folder once I started using the AOSP Rom's as a daily driver.
