Not the final version, we just have a RC rom, that isn't totally finished yet (camera drivers, data connexion ...)
There's not so much need for a custom ROM I think, because SE is giving updates every two month or so for now.

and st17, st15 etc etc are still the phone name coded!
st17 is my active for example, st17i is international versione, st17a american one

1-flash rootable Gingerbread FTF frameware version 4.0.2.A.0.42 (uncheck all ticks except kernel.sin in flashtool)
2-root (using flashtool) then install CWM (using 'se extreme tweak installer 1.8')if your bootloader is unlocked you can flash rage kernel or other unofficial kernels(with integrated CWM).
3-flash 'Superuser 3.0.7.zip' using CWM.
4-flash your favorite Gingerbread version FTF kernel using flashtool(uncheck only 'system.sin & wipe data')
5-install lastest busybox.
this method will work with 4.0.2.A.0.69 frameware.

Hello!
I tried it on my Ray 0.69 German and does not work...
I used 0.6.9 and 0.9.0 Flashtool versions.
First I tried to flash the 0.42 Central Europe kernel (only check "Exclude System" and "Exclude Baseband").Is that correct?.The process seems to complete successfully and the phone starts.
Then try root by FlashTool but log indicates error after a period of time. I tried also with runbat by Zengrush and the phone restarts without installing "Superuser".
What is happening?. What is wrong?.
I will appreciate your help to have "Superuser" in my Ray 0.69 German.

The xperia P no, it's still with 3.0.8.
The xperia S has nothing to do with our chipset.
i dont think SONY will make kernel 3.4 for NovaThor chipset ( Go, P, SOla, U)
