[Q] How to add multiple contacts to a message with Community ROM 1.2?

Checked the entire Comm Rom thread in the dev section, and did multiple searches in dev and Q&A section. Since going from stock froyo to comm rom 1.2 I noticed that I can no longer select from a list to add contacts to an sms message. Doesn't seem to matter what keyboard I use, I have to enter the contacts into the to field manually. Is there something I'm missing? Or was this functionality removed in this ROM? Thanks in advance.

I think you need to give a little more information. I just tested this with v1.3 and it works for me but I am not sure if you are using the same method.
1.unlock phone
2.swipe to message app
3.select app
4.select new message
5.type the first character(s) of the name I want
6.select from the drop down list that appears
Repeat steps 5 and 6 for multiple contacts.
Thanks for the reply gkirby11. What I was actually describing was the samsung sms app whiich is available as an add-on for the comm rom (I just installed as a guess). With the stock samsung sms app instead of adding contacts by swyping the first few letters you can click contacts which appears under the to field. Then you can check boxes next to all the contacts you want and click add to put'em in. The add-on is message_patch.zip and after u install it via recovery...it's pretty nice to have back.
Thanks! I was thinking the same thing.
Installed patch. I send text messages to multiple people ask the time. This was a must.

[Q] Android Market Server Error- Please help!

Hey all, I recently installed WanamLite V7.5 XXLP2 4.0.3 Final rom and it seems to be working fine, great actually but there is one huge problem. Whenever I enter the market, there is a "Server error" message and I cannot even see any apps on the market.
I tried using the method Wanam has given on the website, to remove the gmail account, reboot and add the account again. However, it does not seem to be working and I still get the message. I also tried to clear application data for Market in Settings>Apps but it does not fix the problem.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I don't want to because the data connection is not stable, tink its sth got to do with the system changing the APNs. Do you have a solution?

YOU CAN TRY FOLLOWING THINGS
1) Change The Language of your phone to Any language. Come out of Settings.
Open Market. Check whether the Terms and Conditions is coming... Or Server Error Comes.. Go Back to Settings and Change it to Desired Language and Again Open Market. (Works Well if used English Language)
2) Go To Settings -> Apps -> Clear Data -> Force kill the application. Go Back and Again Start Market.
3) If 2nd thing doesn't work alone. Do the second Step again and Make sure that you open market only in WIFI.
Hope one of the method works for you ...
the first method works.

Text to speech ICS

I’m having problems getting Text to speech to work on my Galaxy S2. I’ve tried Litening rom 2.7 and WanamLite 11.1. When I go into 'Language and input' settings, 'Text-to-speech output' then go to 'Install voice data' in the Google and Samsung programs the 'Install voice data' is greyed out and I can’t install it.
I’ve did complete wipes, before installing the Roms. Everything else seems to be working perfectly. I’m currently running WanamLite 11.1 and Siyah kernel 3.1 rc6.
Any help would be appreciated.

MOD-Rom 4.3-MI6-Call button in contact list.

If you want to have a call button in contact list does, not using "Wanami Xposed"
here you go https://db.tt/BFSOZXHl
I don't remember who made this zip,we used it in an older version of rom,but works very well.....tested on JoelDroid 4.3 rom-MI6.
After flashing, delete google account and login again to restore pictures in contacts.

Using "Wanami xposed", is the same size of the call icon.

Unable to send SMS - CM11 M8

I installed this rom cm-11-20140925-NIGHTLY-n7100.zip on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100
In the beginning, I can send SMS, but after a few hours, I was unable to send SMS.
I checked all over Google with regards to this issue and it all points to me disabling the Voice+ in the Settings (Settings > More... > Voice+)
Problem is I don't have that option in the "More.." portion.
So I tried to disable via Settings > Apps > All > Voice+ > Force Stop, still doesn't work.
Rebooted, force stop Voice+, then tried again, still failing.
When I check the Phone Information in *#*#4636#*#*, SMSC is blank.
Badly need help on this one, as this is my first time doing this mod thing and now I'm stumped. Awesome mod, but buggy. I don't want to go back to the old Samsung mod.

Thanks, I tried doing other SMS apps like Go SMS, and it works with a turn around of changing the SMSC number on the app. But if I didn't do it, even the SMS apps don't work.
But is there a way to use the stock messaging without going back to the stock rom of this phone?
I've been doing a wipe of everything and reinstall of everything and still I can't send SMS. Baaaah!
Going to try and install the stock rom of Galaxy Note 2 for one last try. If it works, then I guess mod is not for me. :crying:
