My touch screen is not working...
I flashed ICS SI and rooted it and everything was working fine until this morning.
The phone was acting weird with screens popping up and vibrating by itself.
I reflashed ICS SI without rooting and after that the touch is no longer active.
I can unlock the phone and see the screen but it doesnt work when I slide to unlock.
I tried restarting the phone several times but to my vain there is no change.
I gave my phone for repair with the SE and they are sending it to Sony factory to get it repaired as SE is no longer handling Sony phones repair.
I am worried as I have unlocked the boot loader will it hamper my warranty?
When I reflashed the ICS I did not root it.
Did anyone face the same issue and is there a way to relock the bootloader to not to loose my warranty?
I think that you should've done a hARD RESET ! Gotta hold power button + down volume button and wait until the phone vibrates 3 times .

well to anyone that can help i tried to remove the simlock on my hd2 with all htcv1.2 and it froze my phone so i took the battery out and restarted the phone everything comes on the buttons work but touchsreen is dead somehow all htc v1.2 messed it up any ideas thankyou
try doing a hard-reset first, by pressing the volume up and down and power button at the same time.
If this doesnt fix it then reload factory rom using SD card method if you have HSPL
If that doesnt work then its your hardware call HTC and get it fixed if you have warranty.

Hi guys,
I have a problem with my x10 mini pro. There are some similar posts here but nobody exactly describe what is happening to me. So my problem:
One day i have been in subway, phone working properly everything fine. THan suddenly 3G icon has disappear and wouldnt go back. So i decided to restart the device. But since i turned it off, i cannot turn it back on again...
I have tried to take out the simcard, take out mempory card, multiple time reflash by SEUS but still cannot turn it on.
I cna charge the phone with no problem, i can flash it with no problem, but i cannot use it at all.
When i press power button, phone shortly vibrate as he is turning on, than display get a bit brighter (not white, just lights up its easy to notice from profile). and than after few seconds get black again. And like this it continue until it drains battery, only without vibrating. every cca 5 seconds display light up and than get black again. So i guess its rebooting all the time. I have tried all tricks like pressing power+home button, still nothing.
I think i just need really wipe out the whole phone and flash it again. Is it possible somehow? I feel like reflashing by SEUS is not real hardcore flash, is there anything stronger i can try?
I am willing to try anything if anybody has an idea, since its not working anyway so i dont care what i try.
Thanks for advices !

I try this already... Still the same
Try to flash 1.6 back.
I had the same problem, didnt ever find a way to fix it so had it replaced under warrenty. may be your only way on this problem im afraid.
I tried 1.6 - didnt work
Problem is that i have no warranty.... I just gave it to my friend who is going to singapore, she knows some official SE shop, so maybe i will get it fixed, but im not sure if it wont be for the same money as new phone...
Well the phone is under a year old so it will be covererd under se warranty unless they think you broke there warranty in any way. I would flash it back to your original FW before having it looked at and wipe your sd card.
I bought it in chinese market (Its not a copy) without any receipt or anything, I dont think so they will took it as a warranty. I have done all of this. Flashed to my original FW, wiped everything, nothing works...
did u try SEUS ?
is your phone getting detected via SEUS in flash mode ? what happens when :
1. Take off the battery for 30 secs
2. connect the phone to usb
3. Power on the phone with back button pressed.
if SEUS detects u should be able to flash it. The flash tool also should be working.
So, I unlocked my bootloader a few weeks back and yesterday I decided to lock it back. I did it with s1tool and after the procedure I was unable to go into flashmode for about 15 minutes. Anyway, I managed to flash a stock 2.3 and everything was normal (the white Sony Ericsson logo showed up, so everything must be ok with the kernel, right ?) until i got to the home screen. I entered my PIN, it unlocked and.. that was it. It stayed the way, showed in the picture below. So, holding the menu button shows the keyboard, sound is working, accelometer too and holding the camera button turns the camera on. The notification bar is also working. It almost looks like, as if there is no launcher ... I tried flashing different 2.3 and even 2.1 but it's the same everytime. I hope that someone has and idea how to fix this..
Update: It works fine without a SIM card... WTF ?
PS Sorry if there is such a thread already, I tried searching, but didn't find anything similar.
After A LOT of flashing, reflashing and hitting both my laptop and x10 I managed to unlock the bootloader and voila - it's working perfectly now ! If the mods think the thread is useless now they're free to delete it
Hi,
I have upgraded to ICS Swiss initially and the phone was working fine.
It was little bit laggy and I switched to HK and as there were many language problems I flashed Singapore ICS.
From then onwards my phone started behaving weirdly.
I used the pattern lock to unlock and lock and my touch wasn't responding and the pattern used to do weird things on its own.
I reflashed Singapore ICS and my touch isnt working.
I gave my phone to the Sony service center and I lost my warranty for rooting.
The touch is responding few times and most of the time it is not working.
I am stuck with this phone which doesnt work.
Please help, I lost my warranty and cant afford to get a new one at this stage.
I asked the technician at Sony and he informed it is the software problem and their system is not allowing it upgrade or change it.
Someone please help me, I am freaking out....
I would like to go back to GB, can someone provide the steps to do that. I do not have a backup of my previous version.
Why you didn't use flashtools?
You have unlocked bootloader???

I used flashtool to flash the ftf files.
I have unlocked bootloader.
Did you untick the boxes to save your data each time? If so, flash the swiss again, tick everything so you get a full wipe
Sent from my Xperia S on which The Kernel has been installed but he bought no chicken.....
Or re-lock your bootloader and use sus( sony update service) to repair the software and choose factory reset.

I checked all the boxes and followed all the steps everytime, but to my vain the touch doesnt work now.
I have done as you said, relocked the bootloader and downloaded SUS and did the factory reset.
The touch doesnt work. I think its a hardware problem.
The service center person informed that they have to change the mother board and its 70% of the cost of the phone.
I've just got my phone a few days ago, and I'm new to Samsung.
After using "Samsung GS3 Int ToolKit" to root and flash insecure boot, I found that sometimes my device gets completely stuck!
It can be working one minute perfectly fine, and then the touch screen + soft buttons don't respond.
The previously used screen flashes above the lock screen, and then goes away
after playing with the power + home buttons.
After a while it comes back (I have to mess with the buttons) and if I use face unlock, it doesn't help since I can get in - but that's it. kinda hard to use the phone without touch.
What could you guys suggest as a fix? flash another ROM? another bootloader?
Oh, I forgot to say I'm using XXBLH1. any help would be appreciated...:good:
I had the same exact problem. I unrooted and sent it back to samsung service. They then saw the root counter in recovery
and told me my warranty is void and whatever i flashed is the cause of the problem.
They eventually flashed it back to stock and returned it to me , working again
