After upgrading my motorola razr XT910 to a brazil ICS firmware, rooting it, and putting CWM on it, I cannot seem to find any roms that work for it. I know lots of them say that you need .183 or .178 firmwares on it but lots of them also don't say anything. I am wondering if there are any roms that I can flash? I have the firwmare 672.180.310.XT910.Brasil.en.BR
Any help would be great!
Till now we got only MiUi to flash on GSM ICS

This is the newest Version.
After you flashed this Rom, flash CWM on Boot again before you reboot your phone.

Are there any special steps needed to go from Gummy ICS to any Gingerbread rom? I've been having too many issues with ICS and need to go back to a stable rom, but don't want to mess anything up. Can I just use CWM like normal and install a GB rom without any problems?
You have to flash fastboot gb rom with rsd. Or try black widow rom. I have no issues with it, just the hw acceleration doesn't work. But it doesn't matter, I have the best battery lifetime with it and it's very fast and stable.

I just recently rooted my motorola razr xt910 on ICS, and I would like to try things out but I am too scared too without having CWM to boot on startup. It worked on 2.3.6 but I have heard nothing about it working on ICS. Any help would be great, thanks.
First you have to install Bootstrap ICS. Not use V2 on ICS!
Then just flash CWM on boot from J. Y. as usual

No problem...
Just one thing:
My first restore of an Nandroid gave me "error restore system" and failed. The reason was my Root Backup from Rootkeeper. If you got one on your phone, delete it through the App before you start playing around

Hi everyone, I want to install the newest German version of Miui on my stock device.
I have download the newest version and Odin on my computer. I know I must flash a kernel that have cwm. But I don't know which kernel I have to take. On the Miui site the guide says, tags I have to download I9300_tools.zip. There must be the file: GT-I9300_TGY_I9300XXLEF.tar that I have to flash with Odin. Can anyone please tell me where I can get this file.
I am on Android 4.2.2

you don't need a kernel to flash CWM! it is separate tar file that you need to flash via odin! and more over, to flash a custom rom, you need to have the latest recovery(CWM touch or Philz touch). download the zip file and flash it through CWM recovery. you really need to go through the basics! don't brick your phone! goodluck
I have only experience by flashing galaxy s1. So I need to know, what I have to do step by step to get Miui on my phone.

I bought my Z2 and it came with .55 taiwan fw, updated via OTA to .69. Now I updated through flashtools to .402 DE, but I did not wipe data, only cache and logs! Would need to do to avoid any problems, such as battery drain, etc, or is it not necessary?
The bigger the software step is, the more it is advisable to start fresh.
As long as you dont face problems you are fine.
