That's the Olympic spirit! :highfive:
Not many in the USA have it at this point so no reason for complaining from the Asians and Europeans. We're pretty much in all in the same boat when it comes to the ICS upgrade at this point. I hope they're right about tomorrow's manual update, though.

Just checked my girlfriend's Maxx, update available, downloading now
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
It's available for me also but as to whether it will actually install or not...lol.
Deleted some bloatware before I realized I'd mess up the OTA. Oh well, we'll see.
I JUST received the ICS update for my Droid RAZR (not MAXX) here in Washington D.C./Maryland area.
I am NOT a soak tester.
I just went to System Updates for the Hundreth time and all of a sudden the update was available! Poof!
On Wi-Fi, broadband connection, it took about 12 minutes to download and 20 to install.

I'm coming from the Droid incredible and they use ruu and it takes about 3min. One click and its done. Is there something like this for the razr. Lol. Thanks

Oh ok. Is this something that's pretty simple to do. Cause I'm a lil more cautious rooting since I screwed my first Droid incredible up with rooting it. Lol. So I just trying to get everything straight before i root this phone.

I just got a new razor Max. I hated ICS on it. Can I block the OTA or do I have to keep hitting cancel?

Free the "updater" with Titanium Backup Pro.
Or just install ics, and use some launcher to make it look like gb.

I don't know if i'd call it a troll. I've yet to see a convincing reason for why I should upgrade. I'm still not sure whether I will do it, especially since it is a one way trip!
Wait till gingerbread out to razr.

A troll to not like Ics? I don't get that one. I don't want it either and used titanium to freeze the updater. Worked great. Ya'll enjoy ICS and I'll enjoy GB. Nice to have a choice.
Thanks for the help!!

It's an upgrade for GingerBread not for ICS. If you're already with ICS, of course, you'll not see any update. The message however will come to everyone. At least, we have our warranty back! Cheers
Finally! Now just wait for the update to JB

I was ironic about the update JB. The history of Motorola does not allow us to dream. I received notification of ICS but it was with the last rom. I am thinking seriously about buying a HTC next year. A pity that only meet the Mercado Livre in Brazil.

I'm actually not familiar with the Razr V. It looks like it may be Australia only, though. Nevertheless it appears that there was an OTA update pushed out for it. If you didn't get it you can likely force it.
