[Q] LF S3 International Firmware Or To Remove Carrier Logo - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Good day ,
I am looking for an international firmware for my galaxy s3 (no carrier logo)(english)
Im not sure if the baseband/build number makes a difference
This is what i have on my S3

Android Version - 4.0.4
Baseband - I9300UBLE6
Kernel Version - 3.0.15-554633-user

The phone was locked to Digicel (Trinidad and Tobago) i unlocked it and i tried changing the firmware..
The current firmware is registered to CLARO and some of my icons are in spanish

[Q] GS3 low Signal

Hello there,
Well here is my issue:
My Samsung Galaxy has low GSM Signal.
I tried to restore the firmware , nothing
I checked around the forums and saw that their are many different Samsung updates from different countries and stuff and i am thinking maybe it has to do with my baseband model or even Kernel
Baseband version : I9300XXLF5
Kernel version: 3.0.15-705505
Buid: IMM76D.I9300XXALF6
Should my build be the same as my Baseband?
If i flash another version (baseband , kernel) will it/could it make any difference?
Regards

[Q] Flashing Galaxy S2 to ORO

Hi, I live in Romania and after I bought a Samsung Galaxy S2 I had the unpleasant surprise to see the phone has a Italian firmware (3Mobile.it - ICS 4.0.3) and CSC - HUI. The phone is unlocked and my Orange SIM works fine but can't change the CSC code .. only HUI is available. The question is if I want to flash the phone with an ORO - Orange firmware witch has ICS 4.0.4 will I encounter problems afterwards? Will the phone be locked on Orange?
You can flash firmware for any region you like. However, you may not be able to get OTA updates when they're released for your region anymore due to the different CSC. Simple solution to that is to flash future updates manually with Odin like many people here do anyways (you can always get the latest firmwares for country/carrier with Checkfus).

[Q] Using Android Version of South East Asia in India for CDMA Phone

I have a Samsung SCH-i509 Galaxy Y CDMA phone.
I purchased it in India
The Only Stock Rom available is Indonesian Version I509EK25 GB 2.3.6
My Phone Details are
Baseband Version i509DDFD17
Build Number Ginerbread.FD17
Kernel Version - [email protected] #1
Could i use the Indonesian STOCK ROM to Flash my Phone ? Will the Phone Work ?
DONOT FLASH CDMA ROMS - It causes Baseband Version Problems resulting into Carrier Problems.
Flashing Indonesian ROM in INDIA is not a Good Idea - Results into Baseband & Carrier Issues
Any idea where i can get the Indian Stock ROM?
Indian Stock Roms for CDMA are still not available . But if you are quite good with android systems , then use ROM dumping methods to create a stock ROM.
CDMA stocks are only available as of now with Samsung.
XDA threads have posting on Rom Dumping
Please upload a lick for Samsung Galaxy y cdma sch-i509 stock rom for india or any that work for reliance carrier

Device model SM-G925F or SM-G925P? Upgrading to Android 6.0

Hi guys, Just wondering if anyone out there can help me out with my problem!
So I bought my phone in Malaysia and in settings -> about device -> Model number, I found out I have a SM-G925F phone. Running on 5.1.1 and baseband version G925FXXU3COI9. Now back home in the Netherlands I was waiting for a Android update but did not get any through OTA or SmartSwich. So I was looking into flashing it manually through Odin. Then in download mode I noticed that my phone had a different model number SM-G925P! Which is the American Sprint model number for the Samsung S6 Edge if I am not mistaken. I downloaded the app “Sammobile device info” and Phone Info *Samsung* as well and they both state I have a SM-G925P model with baseband number: G925PVPU2BOF7.
Which model do I actually own? I want to flash it since I also have a CSC CHN(china) code and I just want to flash it with a PHN Dutch android 6.0 firmware. Can I do this or will I soft/hardbrick my phone?
Hello, I have got the same problem.
What is You choice?
Have You been upgraded firmware?
Can I convert My S6 EDGE SM-G925P to SM-G925F ???

A simple Question (are G925J, G925F, andG9250 interchangable?)

Alright, I bought a s6 edge. The guy said it is F model but even he knew very little. I opened up phone info samsung, it said
PDA: G925F
CSC: G9250 ( China)
BASEBAND: SCV-31
BOOTLOADER: SCV-31
what I found out is that SCV-31 is Japan firmware
:Things I initially found but couldnt figure out
-Download mode wasnt in english and said G925J
-IMEI On the back was same as in device and it said G925F
-about device said G925F in model number and In baseband number*
-Phone info Said g925J in product name.
All I want to do is update that phone to nougat( its currently on Lollipop, no rooted now)
What I think as a possibility, that guy was a freak who bought international version from DUBAI, knew japan language and Flashed Japan bootloader and Lived in china. Damn those freaks lol.
I just want to get it offiicial. Can i flash a newest G925F rom? Is it perfect or should I just flash baseband and bootloader from Japan ROM( SC-V31)
And PDA, and CSC from G925F?
How does those names correspond in new Odin?
Is PD same As PDA? and AP is baseband?
