Is there a way to make the torch (flashlight) in the MIUI lockscreen stays on when activated while the home button pressed long 1x? Just like the one that is used in the CM7 rom?
I have the MIUI rom but the only thing is when i use it on my LG Optius 2x is not will stay on when i hold the home button in lockscreen it shuts off after 1 a second.

Learn to use the search function please. You can use trackpad to unlock if you run a custom Rom with that mod. E.g. cyanogenmod or wild puzzle.
Installed widget locker on my Buzz and enabled easy wake in its settings (meaning pressing any hardware buttons will wake the phone). Hope this helps.
Hi, I installed trackballunlock.zip from wildpuzzle on my 2.1 stock ROM with OC kernel. For most of the time it works but sometimes you have to use both power and trackball to unlock.

Try Lockbot pro..it works seemlessly..the screen gets unlocked on any key like volume button, trackball etc...
On the down side of all these apps, the incoming call lock screen too come up with a NO LOCK, with only Answer and Decline buttons which might accidentally make us to answer/decline the calls
Hi i changed rom and on my last rom there was a feature that if i long press home button in lockscreen it activate de flashlight as torch..
How can i get back this feature ? i'm on Stock LPG dexedoed

If you're on a rom with Jkay framework installed, just install Deluxe Settings app from Google Play to access the option to turn your torch on or off by long pressing home button from lockscreen.
I don't have Jkay and don't want it cause i like stock as it .. Just 2 things i wanted is that Torch feature and maybe battery % ..

I am running CM7 on my Droid X2 . It seem that depressing any physical button except for vol up and down will turn the display on and revel the lockscreen. I can not find any setting to disable the menu/home/back/search buttons from turnng on the display when it is off. I am running button savior if that makes any difference.

I would recommend you get a different Lockscreen like GO locker or Widget locker(paid)
quick torch is a feature that allows you to hold down the power button while the screen is off to turn on the torch/flashlight
this was removed with AOKP jellybean and i was wondering if there is a hack/mod/tweak/app/anything that allows me to program the power button to do this?
Hey, has anyone noticed you can a double press on the power button turn on the flashlight, but for the long press that option isn't there?
Is there a way around that? maybe a flashlight app that can work as a shortcut? tried a few but still no luck.
also can someone confirm if the android 13 beta has the same problem?
Yeah I just use a flashlight toggle app (Icon Torch - Flashlight), I'm sure any other toggle app would work too.
