Cool!
Astronomy is my other passion

Looks awesome.

nice work.
any tips on making the mount? interested in doing this for my 8" skywatcher dob.
do you ever use anything like skeye or google sky maps in conjunction with your scope? just thinking that if you have a mount for video, maybe you could hook up something similar to make a sort of manual "goto" system?

Tips ?
Well i working for company where we service medical equipment such as air pumps air mattresses etc, i just used random parts to make it.
I did use SKYEYE but how i said i had no time to test it, because was very windy and some rain was coming , also i forgot to take with me tripod for my camera so my pictures are really bad ...

[app] Symbian Killer 1.0 - action shooting game

Hi guys,
While browsing the net, i bumped into this cool action shooting game for windows phone. The problem is, it only works in QVGA/ 240x320 screen. I wonder if this can be ported to other screen resolution. Any suggestion or any expert can do this?
A short description of story line:
Plunge into the most neck-breaking adventure to destroy the most insidious corporations in the universe - NOKIA. Easy, fun and exciting shooting action game for your windows phone.

* Animation and special effects that will not leave you indifferent.
* Inimitable sound effects and music from the famous DJ MoHaX
* 6 different worlds with unique action, including the final battle with Nokia Corporation!
* The game is completely free!

Help from UK users

Trying to install beebplyer but can't find it on the market, previously installed & uninstalled it, so not sure why I can't find it anymore. Can anyone please check if it's just me or whether it's now off the market? Thanks.
I read somewhere that its been pulled for the time being.
Something about a 'proper' version coming out soon.
You best bet would be to try to find the APK from somewhere else online...
damn, was looking forward to having it for the world cup.
why would they pull it before a proper one is here? just sounds like aunt beeb wasn't best pleased with it

You can still download it using the barcode scanner. I just installed it, and the quality from the video is quite poor.
I'm not surprised it got discontinued. Worth using as a last RESORT
thanks, installing now! it is a last resort...
not sure if this is any good mate as I aint tried it yet:
http://www.skynetsoftware.com/myPlayer/index.aspx?platform=Android
PS - England are currently sucking bigtime in teh world cup
thanks, hopefully I'll still need it after the group stage!
try yamgo.mobi, its way more reliable than apps.
Yes beebplayer has been pulled from the market, although there is another app called myplayer, as zoomee has already stated.
That said, I don't think those apps are as good as just going to m.tvcatchup.com
You can watch a lot of freeview channels. It requires registration, but that's free, and just a 1 time thing. Try that out.

Camera won't work on final version of CM7

Wake up call
I have had nonstop problems dialing out. All I get is "mobile network not available". I hope it's fixed in cm8 omega supreme.

Heh.
Am I the only person having trouble getting video out to their TV? I've got the USB connected from my NT to the USB port on my receiver, but it's not showing what's playing on my nook.

Your TV is probably not compatible. Try it on an older device. I have no problem getting video out in my bathroom mirror. Everything is reversed though which makes subtitles problematic. Let's hope it's fixed in CM8.
Any chance of getting this stickied?

I'll go to Goodwill later today and look for something circa 1960. I think B&W would be really cool for the superior contrast!
The mirror thing can be a pain, but there's an easy workaround. Take the mirror down and cover the front face with glue. Flip it around and stick it to the wall. Now yeah, image quality will suffer a bit but you may rest assured that the text is now properly oriented.
I've messed and messed with my Nook Camera and finally go it to take a picture of me. Problem is ... it doesn't really look like me

Installation: Install like a normal apk
enjoy! :highfive:
I tried this a week ago. Although its really nice, it doesn't have the options to edit. Unless it was updated recently.
Edit...nvm.. I'm an idiot that doesn't read...lol
Gonna retry it.
My dude, the editor is in the OP. You have to install both apks for the full features
I'll try it out!
Thanks for the share. The gallery is really nice!

? No problems loading over 2,000 pictures on any of my devices. Problem might be on your side bro?
It was quick for me too, no waiting for pics to load up, but it always arranges photos by date as default. Not bad though, and like I said, pretty quick too!
Thanks makoz!
It's probably because I have 14000 pictures in my phone. I'll try taking some off and try again.
Yup, that was the problem. I took my sd card out and it works just fine.
Thanks for the headsup!
Thanks love this!!! Better than stock!

[APP][KEYBOARD] Slice keyboard it will blow your mind

One of the biggest benefits of Android is, and always has been, the plethora of
available software keyboards. Don't like stock? No problem - there's something
out there that will make your typing experience suck less. But what works great
on phones may not be so hot on a large-screen devices like a tablets, so there's
basically a whole subset of keyboards - or at least keyboard layouts - in that arena.
Enter a newcomer to the tablet keyboard ring: Slice. This keyboard... well, it's insane.
Just watch.
Unique? Definitely. Brain-melting? Without question. Practical? You can be the judge
of that one. There's a demo version of Slice in the Store so you can give it a shot, and
the full version will set you back a five spot if you're ready to commit. If nothing else, you
can use it to play Space Invaders.

It will all depend on how well the spell check and word prediction is. Right now i've yet to find anything that can touch swiftkey.
I watched this couple of says ago, it would certainly screw with people's heads if nothing else.
