Im trying to find a good case thats not too bulky but has good protection. Any ideas? Thanks in advance
The Otterbox Commuter is a great case.
Also check this out. They don't add much bulk and are just plain cool

Thanks ima check em out

The Commuter adds a good amount of protection and feels nice. The Cruzerlite or any TPU case will also add some good protection and has a great fit around a case, but adds significantly less bulk. It's very noticeable between the two cases how much thinner one is than the other.
Ok thanks. I think ima get the otterbox commuter case

I got this and really enjoy it: http://tpu-cases.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=48_66&products_id=259
if your phone is a work phone, work in physical/weathering environments, if youre clumsy, if you have a history of dropping your phones.. then go for a more robust otterbox solution..
if youre like me, one who babys their phone and holds it tighter than a newborn out in public, then settle for a tpu solution like the cruzerlites. super thin, provide great protection, has no design flaws.
I have the Cruzerlite and Diztronic cases. Love them both. The Diztronic matte black is barely noticeable.

+1 Otterbox Commuter, I really like it
The Otterbox Commuter is perfect the build is outstanding you wont regret it and the Seidio Active Holster fits like if it was made for it. That's if you need a holster. My other post here has pictures.
Does it add alot of bulk tho?

My friend just got this one from Sprint and it adds almost no bulk at all which put me off all the others I looked at. Also has a nice ridged soft touch backing. I'm thinking I might get one too.

I've had the Barely There case on my Evo LTE for about 3 or 4 weeks now. Perfect for what I needed. Didn't add too much thickness to the phone, added a little more grip, and protected the screen if I put it face down.
Had one on my OG Evo as well, and knew that was exactly what I was going to go with on the new phone.
otter box defender here and compared to the defender for the 3d this one is much slimmer and IMO doesnt add very much bulk at all
I got the diztronic case but I might also get the otterbox commuter

I had that case on my Droid charge for a while, but every time I pulled it out of my pocket it was covered in lint.
That drove me nuts, so I gave it away free to another XDA poster.

With the light gray on the sides, it's barely noticable. The black Otterbox I had was terrible.
Got mine today, not as nice as the seidio active line. Kind of loose at the sides, but otherwise it's pretty nice. Didn't try the included screen protector cuz I have the halo anti glare installed. I'll be picking up the seidio tho once released, but this will suffice till then. Also very little lint build up.

How is the quality of that one? I have a Commuter on mine right now, and the quality is really nice. The plastic just feels very solid compared to some others I've seen. Is the plastic pretty thick and sturdy? Btw, that looks sexy as hell.
I just bought the gray 1 on ebay for 22 dollars shipped prime, I've got both the holster that you can get from verizon that works with the extended battery cover, in the slim version of that 1 available on amazon.
I will try them both on the new case and let everybody know.

I had a Seidio Active case on my Skyrocket. Personally, I think it's the absolute best compromise there is for size vs. protection. For the Skyrocket, I used it as my everyday case. I just ordered one for my Note.
My only complaint is that the rubber is a little too grippy, which makes it a slightly harder to get in and out of pockets than a tpu case. And it will collect lint. The one for my Skyrocket got better the more I used it though.
Nice, glad to hear ur getting good use out of it. I rocked the otterbox commuter on my gnex for a long while and the rubber part definitely collects lint. Microfiber cloth once in awhile cleans it up pretty well. I'm definitely interested in seeing how the rubber from the active compares to the commuter

I actually decided to return the case for a few reasons.
1. The kickstand feels cheap. It is a very light plastic with a small magnet embedded on one side of it. I like how the magnet makes it snap into place but it feels like it could easily snap off when open.
2. I don't like the ridges on the soft silicone. It makes it too difficult for me to remove from a pocket.

Yes the surface case works very well with pretty much all TPU cases. That is the setup i have been using on my last couple of phones.
Received mine from Amazon earlier today. Just got around to installing it. As always, Diztronic comes through again! I wouldn't use any other case! Fit and finish is superb, the camera protrusion is protected from getting scuffed up on the desk, and the kickstand is still very easily to get to.
I have used your cases on my Epic Touch 4G, my Moto RAZR Maxx work phone, and now of course on my EVO LTE! Great job guys and THANK YOU for another excellent product!

I still love my Bodyglove case. It's a hard two-piece case the perfectly slips over the phone. The red looks really nice. I've had it for a short while, still like it. Dropped the phone a few times no damage. Although once on a hardwood floor the bottom of the case popped off (kind of like when you drop a phone by itself the battery cover pops off).
Here's the original thread about it...

I'd like one too. I usually use the silicon one from VZ if I have one on but I can't stand how cheap it is. And I wouldn't mind one that's thinner too. Really just to protect against scratches and keep the camera lense off of the surface or a table lol. This phone feels great without a case, not so great with one. Does anyone know the thickness of the silicon ones? I see that the seidio cases are 2.0 - 2.2 mm thick

It's very good quality. It's a two-piece design that slide and lock together so it will not fall off when dropped. Also, there is felt on the inside of the case so your phone doesn't get scratched.
