Had eclipse rom on GB before going stock for OTA. Currently still stock rooted 211. Any way to get the percent back?

Have you tried Rom toolbox? There's an option for that a believe. Just make sure that you back up, because we know what happens when we tweak and want to update.
After searching for rom toolbox, I found this. Apparently rom toolbox deletes files without the owners permission and reboots your phone. Here is the developers admission.
http://forum.mobilism.org/viewtopic.php?f=438&t=355721&start=15
Granted, it is an anti piracy measure, but I'd stay away from rom toolbox as this developer should not have root access to your phone.

Yeah, a smart guy that is well known in the root community shouldn't have root access to your phone because he doesn't want his apps pirated. Yes, ROM Toolbox did user delete files to stop piracy , because he didn't want his and other apps pirated, seems sensible to me. yet, he took this feature away because of Market restrictions.
You would think in such a pro developer crowd such as Android you'd have a little bit higher of an opinion of a popular developer trying to reduce how much his app is pirated.
Anyway OP, there is not any 1% mod for stock .211 yet, but Eclipse for ICS, Liquid Smooth 1.5, Black Widow for ICS all have the 1% mod. Find the allHere.
There's a deodexer .zip file and 1% battery mod floating around that worked on the first ICS leak (which seems forever ago). I just OTA'ed to 211 and I'm finding a good bit of differences so those zips probably wouldn't work or would cause ill effects. I'm going to see if I can find the guy who created those zips and shoot him a PM.
Even Apple products have 1% battery indicators. I think it should be a stock option in Android. It drives me crazy trying to guess how much battery I have by a bar.

Wow, I just downloaded these two apps and am finally realizing the true power of my rooted X2. 6 months after ditching Blackberry for Android, I am starting to see some happiness with this device.
So with ROM Manager, I have now changed fonts, backed up apps and compared the freeze process (I prefer Titanium Backup) to what I am using. The big elephant in the room is the NANDROID backup. Any advice before I click this option? I don't want to get stuck in bootloop with no options on how to move forward.
Also, it looks like people are using the Liberty ROM that is available through this app...anyone have any screenshots? Thanks in advance.
You should stop while you are still ahead.
Better yet, you should not be using either of these apps.

DO not load Rom Manager on your phone
Do not load Liberty on your phone
These tools were not design for the X2 (maybe in the future)
Go into the general session of the x2 (start there)

absolutely. If u want to root and flash different roms just read some of the other threads. Just stay away from just about everything for the DX.
ROM manager installs clockworkmods. But known of them support the droid x2. So if you install them you will either brick or bootloop your droid
Sent from my DROID X2 using XDA App
Good to know...as I stated at the beginning of the post, all I have done so far is backup the apps and change the fonts and I changed the frequency in which the phone checks for WI-Fi networks. I was this close to having the battery symbol changed, but decided (after the warning) to hold off. I haven't uninstalled the app yet, is the phone volatile with the app installed or should I can I just leave it be in hopes that at some point the developer tweaks the program to work with the DX2?
You can leave it installed if you want to. You should install a app called system recovery for droid x2 it installs clockworkmod that does work on this phone. Then do a back up in case you mess something up you can recover.
Search developer forums for Droid x2 system recovery instructions to find the app and info

Is anyone else having any problems with this app? If i change my battery icon, all my contacts are erased (this happened twice). Also, the sysctl tweaks are not holding. i kinda don't want to change anything else with this app. who knows what else it will erase on my phone. I have email jrummy but no response.....

Not accurate. ROM manager is what you stay away from. ROM toolbox works great! Most all of it works except the cpu settings. OP - If you're running stock, do u even have the init.d hack installed in order for some of the values to stick?
Edit: I just changed my battery icon earlier and had no issues w/ losing contacts. I've flashed boot anis just fine, changed the font, no themes available yet but i think that well require you running liberty ROM, i believe.

Ya I've heard the rom manager doesn't work for us but see all kinds of people using rom toolbox. Does anyone know which options in there I should stay away from. I wonder if liberty has anything to do with you not loosing your contacts for battery icon change. I changed mine twice and it did it both times.

Viskey, it could be b/c you're running stock. For sysctl values to stick you will need to flash navens init.d hack or flash a ROM w/ init.d preinstalled. My experience w/ Toolbox is if it's not supported or needs a dependency then it tells you. At that pt, proceed w/ caution.

One more time. You cannot use Rom toolbox on a stock rom, unless you're rooted. If you're not rooted, it causes the contacts to be erased, and wallpaper will be reset, but that happends anyway. Also rom toolbox is for liberty Rom or any custom rom only.

Overview:
This is basically a ROM I made when I was bored.
It is based off of Pepperm1nt's [ROM][GB 2.3.4]GingerBread Phone 7 v0.4
I replaced some of the apps with MIUI apps such as
MIUI launcher
MIUI Music
MIUI Browser
I am not sure this ROM will work or flash so flash at your own risk
I am not responsible for any damage to your phone. Use at your own discretion
How to install
Must be on 2.3.4 NOT 2.3.5
Install bootstrap
Reboot into bootstrap recovery
Wipe data/cache
Flash this ROM

Sounds a little weird. No pics of screenshots or even tested? Based off someone elses rom without even asking first. Althoug he did give proper credit and did not try to act like it was his own. I appreciate all development for this phone but have to admit this is a first for me to see The OP even states not sure if this will work lol. I dont mind doing a sbf. Did plenty when I was getting to eclipse 2.02 when I had root keeper on my phone I do not mean to bash anyone it is just weird the OP says he is not sure if it will work. Also the title I thought was a little misleading thought this was a MIUI rom.
Seems odd to complain about someone cooking up a new option for a phone with so little support. Regardless of the nature of that option, or what you experienced on another phones dev thread.
Thanks Jay, though I wont be using your work its nice to see people working with the x2. And incorporating miui apps / miui lookalike apps is a neat idea for miui fans who can't flash it due to a pesky locked bootloader.
And, I know none of you fine folks intended to come off as ungrateful or complainy (its my word don't steal it ). Its easy for things to be misinterpreted, between thinking about what you want to post, posting, and someone else reading your post with none of the vocal expression you had in mind.

FIXING OP
Can you make a version that don't requires Safestrap??
If it can work without Safestrap, it also can work as 2nd-System in BootMenu.
I will try this tonight but i need help. I have become fairly familiar with the RAZR. I came from an inc which i loved. The only sd i have is from the inc and its only 2gigs. Question is when making a backup can i save it to the internal sd card? Or will i lose it when wiping data and then formatting the system?

R3Ds Themes
Battery and 1% charge hack
After spending more than 12 hours I managed to install ICS leak 6.14.79 and than followed the steps precisely got R3DS Rom into my phone and was very happy at first but as soon I installed and set GO Launcher EX act by default instead of HomeScreen and shut my phone down waited for 30 seconds and then turn the phone back on I was unable to statr phone sucessfuly, just was getting icomplete lock screnn and toching buttons did nothing. So i ended up using DroidRazrUtility 1.7 to get Gingerbread back on and then installed ICS 6.16,211 in recovery modr from external SD card. So now to my question: Is anyway possible to have battery you have in post #2 (battery #2 is my favorite) plus 1% charge into system I already have without installing separate app from the Market since it can't replace system icon but adds own one?
Thanks
Oleg

I don't believe so, as I'm fairly certain it needs to be deodexed to work, which stock would not be. I could be throwing around false information, though.

Been about 8 months since anyone has created a topic on this according to the similar threads feed. Any stable ROMs for the RAZR yet? I use my phone for work and made the mistake of rooting the other day, now I have major battery loss with screen heat issues. I'm just running the stock ROM rooted with the bloatware removed. Since I use this for work, I need 100% functionality with no loss of anything. I appreciate any help regarding this, or pointing me in the direction of a stable ROM. Thank you!
I think there is about one of these a week actually, but I too use my phone for work and needed absolutely stable. Try eclipse or simplex, they are stock based very stable and smooth, with great battery.
I was running simplex, but got an itch to try the new full throttle and its super nice so far, I think I have an addiction to flashing.

2nd "now I have major battery loss with screen heat issues" that 99% caused by an app not by rooting. rooting does not cause such things its just like enabling ur admin rights on a windows account, well sort of
