Hello
I got myself a GS2. I have ICS 4.0.3 and I'm trying to change the language ofcthe phone to Hebrew. I can see the Hebrew (עברית) option, but whenever I click on it it shows me language as Hebrew, but the phone is still in English.
Does anyone know what could be the problem?

i had this problem aswell, rebooting your device will help,
try clearing cache\dalvik aswell
I m not sure if this helps but you can simply try rebooting your device after celecting the language. You can also do the factory reset and try changing the language again but then you must have your backup copy somewhere.
Just guessing if these might help...

Hey I did the exact same thing to my phone and even reset it. I finally fixed it with the x10I flashed and global 2.1. You can find it in the x 10 development forum.
They will explain how to use it there. Good luck and atleast

One of the only things I miss from the stock ROMs is the Samsung keyboard, which has extended number of languages. Although I know that keyboard lacks customisation options, it's bug-free and is the ONLY one that has the correct key layout for my language.
As it seems, you can't mix odexed apps and deodexed framework, so naturally I couldn't "port" the keyboard as is.
I tried to deodex the AxT9IME.apk but being a total noob, I failed several times, from just text fails like "Error occured while loading boot class path files" to doubling ALL the files on my HDD ( YES it happened... stil deleting ).
Can someone please deodex the AxT9IME.apk from KF3 (and make it work with KH3 if needed?). Since I lack the brains to do even that simple thing

Only tried it on kg6 and kh3 but I should work on any really..can't see why not

Hi Guys!
Could you please explain to a newbie how to "just flash it"?
I upgraded from original 2.3.3 to stock 2.3.5 (XXKI3), and by doing so left myself without Czech and Russian swipe support, both of which I need for my work.
Would much appreciate it.
PS The phone is rooted.

1. Instal CWM
2. Download keyboard.zip
3. Remember where u download it
4. Download and instal CWM
5. Open ClockWorkMod and go to recovery
6. Instal zip from sd select folder where u downloaded .zip
7. Reboot
8. Go to settings of samsung keyboard and select language u want

After flashing this my Samsung keyboard is lost and there is no selection for it?

Hi all
Every morning , i m having same problem with my phone. I cant connect to data network. When i looked to apn settings i saw they are gone and when i want to setup a new apn setting i m getting FC. I m having same situation with litenin 6.1 rom and leomar rom. Only solution i found is wiping phone. Do you know how to solve this ?

Try a full wipe from clockworkmod:
Data/Cache Factory reset
Cache
Advanced -> Dalvik Cache
Mount & Storage -> Wipe System
Let me know if this helps
have u tried any stock firmware ?? that might help you ??
I wasnt wiping dalvik i ll try it next time. If it doesnt solve it i ll try stock roms. But this is a very interesting situation...

I have the same problem. I was on a stock ROM and the problem was still evident. I cant access the APN settings it gives me an error. I have a funny feeling this is where the problem is.

enter the following code on your keypad.
*#272*your imei#*
It will display the current csc and allow you to change it if needed. the fist 2 letters denote the country code.
I think i need to have multi csc . But how it changes something about data connection ?
I'm on XEU, I think i should use TUR
I'm on leomar 2.7.1 how can i TUR CSC on it ?

I found something about this issue,
There is a problem with SIM CARD . When i enter to sim toolkit , i m getting FC then APN starts to work

I think something has gone wrong in my Phone/Contacts apk..
1st. I tried to change the phone apk to achive a different look dialer, smthn went south.. its really not a big deal but its annoying! When i want to send text messege from the contacts i slide the contact left and get the quick menu to chose what aplication , my case is whatsapp/Messeges but whatever i chose Nothing happens, the screen blinks and nothing...
Ive tried to flash new roms(villan &Cm7) didnt fix it.. so i went back to my backup from CWM..
What i need to fix ???
i dont know even how to approach this problem...

Do you mind if you get Wiped? If not wipe everything with CWM then reflash Firmware that takes up CSC, PDA and Phone, then after that you can Re-flash Your own firmware.... It should work.
hey guys im on AHD 10.0 and have some problem with my touchwiz cant correctly enter numbers letters and other characters
i try to do a rom change and see if that helps but don't thing
