My primary are battery life and stability .....
So.if I'm correct... syiah, cm9 and fluxi are the most popular kernel out right now?.
I will be using either rootbox or resurrection rom .. or plz reply with better rom for battery life and stability plz...

Try a few kernels until you find one that works for you. These threads are forbidden on here just like 'recommend me a rom' threads. Expect mods to close this thread this soonish.

As mentioned. Search, read and try them yourself until you find one just right for you. Locked.
cheers

[Q] Looking for a rom "Stock+Clean+Deodexed+Rooted+Siyah" without much modifications
As the title says , I like the stock samsung experience without much editing.
I was looking for a Stock rom without bloatware + Deodexed + Latest Siyah kernel.
Just no more apps / editing.
I even tried Kitchen app to build my custom rom , but it seems to have problems with siyah kernel or ics. (don't know why )
So people , any one can till me what rom has the features I want ?
Thanks in advance.
Find it yourself here or here.

Your question is perspective. And melts down to "whats the best x". Read the threads try them out and make your decision yourself.

What's the most stable Jelly Bean Custom ROM?

I'm looking for the most stable JB custom ROM and its kernel, with less bugs. If any of you have some advice please tell me the ROM and the recommended kernel used for that ROM. Thanks.

A suggestion:never ask that again and try out roms till you found one which fits to you

I'm not looking for a perfect ROM and I know custom ROMs have bugs that we must deal with, I'm just looking for the most stable one that people ever try. Why don't you just tell me what ROM and kernel suit you best? I can't try everything out. I'm not a ROM tester.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH
i think you should ask in Q&A , But i think you shouldn't ask that ,
because you'll not find any specific Answer ,
you'll find some bodies love Cm , and people love Zelly Cream , and more & moooooooooooore @_________@ ,
Just flash what do you think it's better for you
Don't ask that again man, cause you're insulting the developers. Well see this ROM, I'm using it right now, enjoy.
OP two issues here...
1st posting this in the Development Section.
Obvious reasons...
2nd Asking most stable JB Custom ROM.
Only you can figure this out, due to so many Users having different apps/usage, what is best for them will not be best for you...so you have to do the homework and test & run the ROMs yourself.
Thanks.

[Q] Will stock android speed phone up?

Hi. I'm a bit new to this, and was wondering if a way to improve my ace performance, would a custom stock android based ROM improve the phone? As at the moment it is laggy and has loads of bloatware taking up the internal memory.
So will doing this make the phone less laggy and improve performance?
Cheers!
Yes it will increase the performance but depends on the ROM you're using.
After flashing a custom rom, you can apply additional tweaks to it. Which hence increase performance, smoothness, network speed etc ; depending on the tweaks.
Also with more performance, there is a price to pay! You will be facing alot of battery drianage. But that depends again on the tweaks you applied.
Most Custom Rom have inbuilt tweaks with them. That makes them special and are good.
To be honest, i think stock rom is the best except for the look though.

SGS3 v5 is not JB. It's Gingerbread
And it's a little bit immoral to compare, suggest or show preference towards certain ROMs
Not only that, but it's also against rules
also my first rom was mind cr 2.9 looks great and works great contacs works if you flash their version i u use your version mine was m conttcs wold not appear they ha vea rom that flashing that with odin then mind cr will read contacs.

This thread is on the way to "best rom" thread which is stupid as there is no best rom but only rom that fits more your need and usage !

[Q] Custom Rom Suggestions

Hello Everyone,
I'm a 5830i user. I've tried a few custom roms. Now using Ex-trim Series-Pure SGS3 by ABHI922 and Rafael.Baugis 2.6.35.7 kernel.
The rom has some problems like toogling flashlight, camera app etc. :crying:
I need a custom rom and kernel which takes a small place, increases performance and (if possible) no bug. Visual quality isn't important for me.
Win 7 performance and win 95 visual
Could I have your suggestions please
PS: Performance scripts and engines could be useful, too.

Try out different Roms for yourself and find out . There isnt a best Rom at XDA. And if you are asking a question make sure it is in the Q&A section, not general!!

I'm not looking for the best rom, it is against forum rules, knowing that. By the way thanks for showing me it is in the wrong section. :good:

Check the dev section or check http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2218825
If I remember well, wanams Rom is the least modified?
Sent from my Nexus 7 (2013)
Thanks for reply but the list you linked links to aosp/aokp roms wich i simply hate.
And now im on Wanam rom and i realy hate it. it may have sammy base but in end it behaves just like aokp/aosp.
Thanks anyway.
I sense a mod will lock this one quite quickly, there is a good reason why it's against the rules -all the useful threads would disappear in a flood of pointless babble.

I used also Wanam rom and it was really good if ur after stock. U might want to try S4 Revolution also, its as close as it gets to stock with updates from S4 if u pick the right stuff in AROMA.
