please help me to find or know the mac address for wifi chip

Turn on Wi-Fi.
Go into Wi-Fi Settings.
Hit the menu button and select Advanced
Your MAC address should be right there.
On ICS (tablet mode)
Turn on Wi-Fi
Hit the three small dots in the upper right corner
Select advanced
Your MAC address should be right there.
i used fwdn tool for firmware
so maybe i used wrong firmware , so that they overwritten the mac address
its not original mac address
its stupid tool , i should enter the mac address and nic address before using fwdn tool before install the firmware otherwise i cant use the wifi , wifi wont work.
Firmware can't change MAC. I often install new versions of DHD firmware (IceColdSandwich) and always MAC is the same. Turn on WiFi and go to the Settings -About phone - Current information . There will be Mac.

I cannot get my android tablet ( Viewsonic G) to connect to my Microsoft router. When trying to connect to the Microsoft router the tablet reports "connecting", "obtaining IP address from MSHOME", "disconnecting" and it starts all over again.
Here are some things you might want do.
(1) MAC filter! See if you need to add the MAC address of your gtab to your MAC filter if you have one.
(2) What rom are you on? If you are on custom rom, sometimes you need to reflash the rom. Sometimes, errors occur during the installation process of the rom.
(3) Pray to Zeus.
Please note this method worked for me it may or may not work on all devices
ive seen many people reporting that it gets stuck obtaining ip address so here is the solution for that
Don't kill me if it does not work
Here are the steps
long press the wifi connection and select modify network (if its password protected select forget and try)
check the Show advanced options
in the IP address field type the ip address of your network (for example my ip address is 192.168.0.1)
now connect it ... it shows connected (don't be too happy) but you cant browse internet
now again long press on the wifi network and select modify network and now remove the ip and select the DHCP and save
turn off and turn on wifi
it will automatically connect to the network
if still not connected delete the files in data/misc/wifi folder reboot device and try again
additionally try connecting using and apps like wifi fixer etc

on CM11 nightly build 5, I cant connect to connectify but it worked with stock ROM. It shows "obtaining ip address" and hangs there.. not getting connected.

Have the same problem on Motorola Moto G 4G XT1039. Just flashed cm-11-20140929-NIGHTLY-peregrine.zip build and my WiFi is dead. It connects but then stays in "Obtaining IP address" forever. I've followed all the "fixing suggestions" mentioned in this thread but the problem persists. Any more ideas?

Now, after doing an update I can't connect anymore (I didn't change anything to my home network).
I tried flashing another firmware, but that doesn't fix it.
When I try to connect I put in my password and then i keeps saying: "Authenticating"
What I tried sofar:
- Flash another firmware
- Factory Reset
- Change the channel on the router
- Change the security on the router
- Change the SSID
Please note; All my other devices (smartphones, laptop, other tablet) don't have any problem what so ever to connect.
Strange thing; When I use my Sony Xperia Z1 as a hotspot I can connect without any problem (When having set security to off).
When i disable security on my router, I can't connect.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Hmmm, Thread can be closed...It works now...Reset my modem (Again) and now it works.
Debugging mode is off, bootloader lock, can execute just OTA. cant enter to the system for activate debugging mode. (can't pass 2 etape) after choice lang. I install volantis-ota-mob30g-555f0865.zip and now i have volantis-ota-npc91k-42fc9c84.zip but tablet can't activate wifi ip addres is "undefined" + mac address 02:00:00:00:00:00
anybody know how fix that? or how get root in bootloader, or change OTA for enabled for default usb debugging or another solutions.

tablet nexus 9 WIFI 16gb
buy the tablet from china and everything was ok except for the bluetooth, it seems that is unable to connect with any bluetooth device that have more current connection than 2.0, i tried with a TSW of 5.0, also 3 different headphones with 4.0 and a keyboard with 3.0, the only thing that was able to connect was a silly BT speaker with mushroom figure of 5$ and of course BT 2.0, lenovo support tells me it must be a compatibility issue (of course of lots of devices that i can use on my phone or a keyborard maded for the specific model). So i though is a matter of the MAC address of the bluetooth (WLAN MAC is correct), the MAC address of BT is marked as 00:00:00:00:00
I already tried to reboot the WLAN and bluetooth connection, also already made the factory reset, the las thing that i tried is to install the original first ROM unfortunally my PC won´t let me change it with QFIL due a sahara fail (already tried updating the qualcomm drivers, erase it, use the ones from the tablet, changing the version of the QFIL, changing the root of the rom version to the C:/ or to the QFIL folder) but it seems like my PC is just not going to work for it.
Sorry for bother you guys, but i´m out of ideas for fix it, do you have any kind of suggestion or something that you used for fix an issue of BT address? thanks T_T
Have you rooted your device and the stock rom has been replaced?
That BT mac address is obviously invalid. I think the BT issue must result from the current rom.

mmm no yet, i don´t know what kind of rom i can use for replace it, do you have any recomendation?
already fix it, bluetooth MAC address still on 00:00:00:00:00 but now it can connect to any device, i just install with QPST process the ROM TB-J606F_CN_WIFI_USER_Q00016.0_Q_ZUI_12.0.519_ST_210130 that is a chinese ROM but it can make the BT work even with that address, if your device have the same issue it´s possible that an original rom from the device country can make it work, even with that it´s BT address 00:00:00:00:00 can be a factory issue and if you can´t make the BT work is possible that needs to go to warranty or change the wireless connection chip on the motherboard
