Any music players work with BT headset controls - Galaxy S III Q&A, (US Carriers)

I'm using DoubleTwist now. The volume buttons work but nothing else. Has anyone had ANY luck with BT headset controls with this phone? It was hit and miss with my Touch depending on the ROM I had installed.

Weak sound when using headset!

I have experienced a weak sound during listening music thru audio manager. I wonder if there is any way like modifying Audiopara3.csv in Touch Diamond. Please help.
Can't say the same really. I've been using the HTC bluetooth headset with no volume issues. Haven't yet tried the supplied wired headset.
Same question here... The sound on my Rose is extremely weak as well, e.g. it is impossible to listen to podcasts in a train. Is there no way to change this ??
Just a thought, though I'm sure that this is obvious enough so that you guys probably already tried it: turn up the system volume with the two buttons on the left side of the device.
.-ombre-.
i have the same problem over here, i have been told that this could have to do with european regulations. Something with the amount of decibels allowed.
There is a audio boost option in the menu but with a bluetooth headset this option does not work.
If there is a solution to this problem i would be happy to learn about it
Does it sound any better using media player? I think media player has a better sound but audio manager has an equaliser. Try using that to boost the sound.
AVE...
Use Pocket Player.
While using select: Menu>More>Options>Advanced and check "Use and set device volume". Then press on the side of Rose Volume Down button once and Volume Up button to max volume. This will double max volume.
BTW, for podcasts and audiobooks Pocket Player is the best, because it can autoresume last played file to exact point. I use it all the time because all my audiobooks are chopped into 30 minutes long MP3's. Neither AudioManager nor WMP can do it.
My solution was to change the profile to Outdoors and then edit the volume in this profile to loud. It works a lot better.
However I have Pocket Player installed and Urgon's solution works like a charm. Thanks man !

How to change what app uses Bluetooth controls?

Does anyone know how to change what app uses Bluetooth controls? I use two different Bluetooth devices that have play/pause, fast forward and rewind controls for music but if I use them it only works in meridian player and not others.
I mostly use subsonic for music and there is an option to use the app with Bluetooth controls but the selection doesn't work. If I have subsonic open and I hit play/pause it will just open meridian and start playing music.
Same thing happens to me. Any help would be appreciated

Bluetooth media volume control via Pandora on Droid Razr

Anybody else having volume control issues using bluetooth on the new Razr? In particular, this happens with Pandora and Sky.FM. Problem : the volume buttons have no effect using Bose Sounddock and portable bluetooth speakers. Only way to adjust volume is to use the remote for the Bose. Have tried it on 3 different Razrs, same thing - no volume control via bluetooth.
This volume works fine on both of my Samsungs running GB. Also works with plug-in headsets, and also works with Google music player, just not Pandora etc.
Any ideas? Got to be something simple!

Podcast/media players and headset controls

I listen to alot of podcasts (using either BeyondPod or Pocket Casts), and would like to control playback using headset remote controls - e.g. the play/pause button on a Sony MW-600 bluetooth remote, or the same on a Klipsch S4A headset. The problem is that headset controls like these usually fire up the default media player (PlayerPro in my case), rather than controlling the Podcast player (e.g. BeyondPod).
I could theoretically configure BeyondPod to use the standard Android media player instead of its built-in media player, but then I would lose the enormous benefit of it remembering where I left off when I pause a Podcast at the end of a journey.
Has anyone here worked out a good way of controlling a Podcast player using a headset remote?
Doesn't have PlayerPro an option to disable headset interaction?
In PowerAMP for example you can toggle if you want to handle handset commands or not, giving the chance to be handled by another app.

Yes I've discovered the option in PlayerPro to disable the headset control. Now I can control the volume using the headset controls in BeyondPod, but none of the other buttons are functional (on either the Sony MW-600 or the Klipsch S4A).
Has anyone here managed to get headset playback controls with BeyondPod?
Disconnecting audio controls from default music app
Hi,
I use my bluetooth headset mostly for listening to Audible and Google Listen.
Media controls automatically invoke default music player, and control it. Only volume controls work in other players.
Is there a way to associate a different player with the bluetooth media controls (stop/start/skip)?
I am using hydrog3n ICS on a Galaxy Sii, but I believe this is a generic issue.

[Q] Bose For music and iPod®/iPhone® controls MIE2i mobile headset

Hi
I have Bose For music and iPod®/iPhone® controls MIE2i mobile headset
It's Work only Play/pause button, but the Volume +/- Button not working..
How can i solve this problem,
Plz help me
I am using HTC EVO 3d
thnx.
I'm afraid there is no solution. I have Klipsch S4i's with the remote too. Volume buttons do nothing. I've been looking for nearly 2 years. Hell, even the android specific headphones I've seen only have 1 button.
